I stayed at the Danville PA location on July 12th to 14th. I have been going to that location for a few years now. Normally have a great time. I had asked for a 1st floor room due to my disability. It was declined. There were 2 other couples that were told that their rooms were canceled after they paid for them. The Indian gentleman that was running the front desk didn't seem like he had the first clue of how to handle anything. Two other people came in and asked to be let into their rooms, and he didn't even check their ID. My daughter and her boyfriend had reserved a room, and they told it was cancelled. Yet they did not receive a cancelation email till after they left the lobby.
The reason I could not get a room on the first floor was there was a large amount of jacked up trucks that were doing burnouts in front of the hotel at 11 o'clock at night. As far as I am concerned, I would have removed all of those people and had them escorted off the property. I have video evidence to prove it (which is too big to be uploaded). Nothing was done about it because my phone in the room did not work, and I could not call the front desk, and no one was in the lobby.
Before this horrible visit. You company would have had many years of reservations from my family as I have very young children and go to that area for the Knoebels amusement park at least once a year. With the disservice we received. You will be lucky to get any business from us
I personally worked in customer service, in many different fields. From food service to retail to my current career in IT. If I had any part of a company who treats their customers like this. I would either replace the entire staff or pull their franchise all together. This hotel is breaking down and needs to be repaired or closed.
