I purchased a 70-inch RCA television from Canadian Tire in February 2023. In August, it malfunctioned, and Canadian Tire replaced it. On December 28, 2025, the television stopped working: the power indicator lights up, but the screen remains black. I emailed RCA's technical support with photos and an explanation of the problem, but they refused any responsibility, claiming the 365-day warranty period had expired. I know a television is an appliance that should last at least five years, and that's why I find their handling of the situation unacceptable: they provided no assistance whatsoever. I feel cheated as a customer.
Recommendation: I don't recommend it.
