Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Adjustable bed bases

Within a year, we had trouble with one of the two bases that we purchased from R&F; although we had purchased their Platinum Protection Plan, we had to work with the manufacturer. Repeated problems with control box until (finally) it could not be fixed. R&F granted us a credit only to be applied to a purchase from them and they insisted that we turn over the non-functioning beds (which we threw away). Now, they won't allow us to use the credit!

Desired outcome: Please allow us to use the credit that we are entitled to.

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Platinum coverage warranty

I purchased all new furniture for the first floor of my home along with the extra 5 year Platinum Coverage Warranty in 2021. Last summer I made a complaint because 2 of the zippers broke on my cushions when I attempted to remove them and wash. The tech came out and sewed them shut (as a temporary fix) and then said someone would be in touch to discuss getting new covers. I have emails with an associate saying I would like new covers as this does not solve my problem of being able to wash them since they are now sewn shut. He again says someone will be in touch. NOTHING FOR MONTHS! I speak with customer service at the store and they say since my couch is longer available there is nothing they can do now. I still have 3 more years on my warranty and no one can help me. This is unacceptable. Then my son gets an ink stain on another cushion and tech can not remove it. Again they say someone will be in touch. NOTHING for weeks. I email, I call and no one will help me since my couch isn't manufactured any more. Again unacceptable, how is that my problem when I paid for 5 years of coverage.

Desired outcome: I should be given option to reselect an available couch that replacement items can be ordered!! I should receive an email or phone call.

The platinum warranty is complete BS. I’ve had a leather sofa and loveseat for 3 years and dark

Brown color faded to light brown. Called the warranty department (who was actually nice) and they advised they can offer full store credit as a re-select. Thankfully we got this far. After receding this information we called and texted with the local Raymour and Flanigan store to purchase the same leather sofa and loveseat to find out it is no longer being made Bernhardt but Bernhardt themselves do have very similar leather sofa and loveseat. After seeing the similar products we felt they were close enough to start the process of the re-select. In doing so the store advised they can have the Bernhardt sofa and loveseat ordered and it would be very close ($102 off) to what we paid originally. I advised I would be down to complete the process. Once I arrived at the store and spoke with the sale associates (who advised of the price through text message) and said it’s for a re-select the sales associate became disgruntled and immediately stated he cannot talk with me and he needed to get a manager. Once the manager came she advised they no longer can get the Bernhardt sofa and loveseat (which was false) and that she needed to call the Bernhardt rep. After the manager called the Bernhardt rep she stated they can get it but it will cost 2.5x what we were told through text message which is absolutely absurd. Raymour and Flanigan is a bunch of crooks and the warranty for it complete BS. Will never purchase from them again and will be leaving this same message on Better Business Bureau and everywhere’s else in hopes to advise other customers before buying from them!

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Service on a remote for recliner

My son ordered a very expensive recliner with remote that also has a USB to charge devices. I have had the chair 1 year in November 2022. I called to tell them the USB is broken please send somebody out. That was November finally December the service tech comes to my house he cannot fix or replace the remote because he does not have this one in his truck. Now knowing which remote he was coming to fix you would think he would have had the correct remote with the USB in his truck. I call again because I have heard nothing about when my remote will be fixed. I call somebody put in another request. It is now January I just called last week to find out it will be shipped to whoever on January 26. Someone will call me to come out and service this. Which now means we are looking into February sometime that hopefully I will have my chair fixed. So I would like to know how I can get some type of compensation on a 3 month waiting list for a damm remote to be replaced after I have had spine surgery. So unprofessional my son thought he was buying from a reputable store. Please get back to me in this matter.

Desired outcome: I need a new remote with USB ASAP. Some type of compensation for the inconvenience having to wait 3 months.

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Leather sofa chaise

I bought a leather chaise sofa from Raymour and Flannigan on August 15, 2022. I also bought the platinum protection plan. The sofa is paid in full. I complained about the chaise because the cushion is lumpy and uneven. A guy came to repair it in September. However, the front of the chaise sunk back in the end was higher than the front again. I contacted Raymour and they said they would order me another chaise. It is now the middle of December and I still dont have my new chaise cushion. I've called several times, and last week they basically told me that they will call me...in other words, stop calling.

This was financed and out of good faith, I paid the sofa off in full which ended up being over 3 grand.

I have bought my furniture there for over 30 years, but no more!

Desired outcome: I want my new chaise or the entire sofa replaced.

A curio cabinet was delivered today by Fed. Ex in two pieces. I cannot lift the pieces much less assemble it--I am elderly. I would not have purchased this item if I had been informed that it was coming in this condition.

I contacted the company's customer service and spoke with Chris, who had no help to offer other than saying she ourld "reach out" to some entity to see if they could come and pick it up.

Desired outcome: I would like immediate help: either put it together or come and collect it and refund my money. I am moving in nine days. I am old. This is too much stress.

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Taken advantage of, scammed, cheated

I am filing this complaint to warn others; We purchased a sectional and first of all the sales rep charged us for recliners on each chair - which as a professional she should have know that you can't have 2 recliners on both sides of a center wedge nonetheless yes, my elderly parents who do not speak English well but are too trusting and assumed the rep would do the right thing and not take advantage of them. Nonetheless, once the delivery was made and one chair being damaged we reached out to let the sales rep know how she sold them the wrong items and she basicallly put the blame back on them. After telling her she is supposed to be the professional and hae the knwoeldge and should have know better that you cannot possibly even open 2 recliners that are on both sides of a wedge at the same time so she sold them something useless and quite honestly seems to jack up the price. So we asked them to replace the broken piece and now replace it with an ARMLESS chair which she should have done from the beginning but they are saying we have to pay delivery again because we should have known it was broken and not accepted it. BUT how could we tell it is the bar underneath that is broken! for the other chair that we need to have it corrected and be an ARMLESS chair they are telling us we need to pay delivery and restocking fees also and for the broken one as well! This is the biggest scam and I warn others to stay away. They claimed they would split the redelivery fee with us BUT yet are charging almost the same delivery fee as they did originally when the sales rep., originally told me it goes on a sliding scale based on total price! So how is delivery the same for almost $6,000. as it is for $1,000.?! LIARS! It seems that is how they are making up the difference in what they are losing on commission. That is also why we paid for Platinum protection but yet still have to p[at delivery?! It all just seems like lies and cheating and scamming. I was giveen an attitude by the sales rep because of this when telling her I am extremely annoyed, disappointed and upset about the way they are handling this and she she was nasty back and I asked to speak with her manager she said he would call me back 2 days later no call so I called her again and she very rudely said well he can handle it now and I told him to call you but you know he's busy! It's been 5 days since and not a call back! BEWARE aunelss you want your harf earned money taken from you I would not purchase from this Raymour & Flanigan!

Desired outcome: Refund back for difference from recliner to armless for 2 charges, no redelivery charge and the one piece that is uneven and looks defective because it doesn't line up with other pieces be replaced without any charges, redelivery.

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Medium apart temper pedic lies! Guarantee lies!

I purchased a temper pedic and was told I had 120 days to decide whether or not I wanted it and if I passed the that time frame I would be able to exchange it for a different type of mattress. Apparently the refund part was a lie because when I asked for one within the time frame they denied me, spoke to me aggressively and hung up the phone. I go in person and the sales manager raises his voice at me for asking for a refund and tells me he’s not concerned with the pain I am in because of the mattress, that my choice was to exchange it for another or just leave. I exchange the mattress and again my back is just getting worse and worse! I have not slept since I bought from them and I just want my money back so I can actually go somewhere else to get a mattress that’s actually helps my back and helps me sleep.

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Dining table

I purchased the dining table along with 4 chairs in Oct 2021. After using the dining table for three months I noticed that there is a bubble on the surface of the dining table. Raymour Flanigan did an exchange in the month of January 2022 stating that it is a manufacturing defect.

In the month of July 2022, I again noticed the bubble on the surface of my Dining table and reported the same to Raymour Flanigan customer care. The service representative was at the place and confirmed to me that it is a manufacturing defect and did an exchange again. The dining table was exchanged again.

In the month of October 2022, the Bubble on the surface is evident again and this is the third time in the span of one year I am facing this problem with the dining table. I called raymour Flanigan again and spoke to a representative regarding this issue. They transferred the call to the service department. The service department representative told me that it cannot be exchanged anymore as it is a Customer issue. Moisture was on the Dining table surface and it caused the bubble.

It is a brand new dining table and within two months of every exchange, the table is bubbled up.

The dining table is for having food and moisture on the surface is quite common. The answer given by the Service representative is not acceptable. I would like the raymour flanigan to look into this issue and provide me suitable solution.

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture dining set

I purchased a dining set for my sister with the protection plan. The set ripped and I was told it cannot be repaired. They told me I am entitled to a new set but would have to pay a delivery fee. That is ridiculous it is not my fault your furniture was faulty and I feel I should not be charged as it is unfair. Why should I have to lay out $169.00 for delivery when it was not my fault. I spoke with Shaquana and was told the fee cannot be waived. I asked for my money back and was told no. I was also informed I cannot get another protection plan on the replacement furniture which makes no sense because if it is defective AGAIN I am out of luck. Not great company policy. I am requesting to have the delivery fee waived. This is not fair it was not my fault your set was faulty. If you will not waive the fee then I want my money back and I will go to a more reputable store. I was told I would receive a phone call back and to date no one has contacted me.

Desired outcome: I want the delivery fee waived!!!

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Broken bed

Bed is broken in less than a month. Delivered 10/7. Called as the bed frame is broken leaving our matress to cave in. WILL NOT COME SAME DAY. Instead we must wait til friday for a tech to check it out. Funny, they were quick to take our money though. Furniture is garbage, will never do business again. I tried to get a manager they told me to email them with pictures, which I did. Also apon delivery the delivery guys told us we needed to buy a box matress and that their sales people ‘wouldnt know to tell us that’. Perhaps you should inform your workers what is necessary in a purchase. THE SAME THING HAPPENED with our last bed we bought from raymour but figured we would give them another chance. Never again..

Desired outcome: NEW BED. Or refund to go elsewhere

The quality is extremely poor! No tags on any of the furniture and no paperwork like normally given with something BRAND NEW.. No paperwork even on the $200 protection plan.

On 8.14 the couch was delivered. The color was off from one to the other. The one looked dirty and used and they felt real flat like no cushioning was in them.

On 8.16 - I contacted Brenda and she forwarded the info on to someone who could help me.

8.18 - Spoke to a manager briefly and she said a replacement was coming.

- New furniture came between 8.18 - 9.4, I don't recall when

9.5 - Contacted Brenda again about the new pieces that came. They were just as bad as the first set! Barely any stuffing in them.

9.8 - Didn't hear back from Brenda - so I followed up.

9.8 - Brenda replied and said she forwarded my message to the service department.

9.20 - Emailed Brenda - New furniture came and I refused replacement. The SAME issue! Barely any stuffing in them! The service people had a dirty old piece of foam in their truck they stuffed in one to try to help me. It appears they didn't even know why they were coming here! Raymour just kept sending new pieces that are useless. And by seeing all these replacement pieces, it's clear it's a quality issue. It's not a 'dud' in the bunch.

Delivery agreed, they are too flat and will only get worse.

9.22 - No reply from anyone... followed up with Brenda via email.

9.22 - Brenda said she sent a link to schedule service. No link received.

9.23 - Link finally sent for service

10.7 - Service came - filled the bottoms and I had to practically beg him to fill the backs!

10.12 - NO improvement with the cushions. This shows for $3k, this is overpriced and understuffed.

I'm disabled and am in pain constantly. I can not keep dealing with the stress of this furniture and chasing people to fix the couch. The couch feels 20 years old.

Even the delivery and service men admitted it's not the same quality as the 'old days' and that if they just made the furniture correct the first time, all these service calls would not be needed. They also said, this is a common issue for this furniture, which shows it's reoccurring quality assurance issue!

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Regal Manor Dining Table

To RF, I just received my Regal Manor dining set today 9/10 Order No. 09042H5HMLP. Please look at the attached picture. Pedestal A is supposed to be aligned with Pedastel B on the Regal Manor dining table as I have observed in RF floor models in stores and the RF website. Furthermore, part C (the extension of the pedastel) of Pedastel B constitutes a tripping hazard for the person sitting in the chair directly in front of C. I need to have the pedestals aligned correctly. I'm also missing hardware for placing the glass in the hutch. Please advise the next step. -Anthony Capetandes

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture madilynn dinning set

Since I got the delivery I keep complaining that the legs of the chair have rough finishing. and the table is also a rough finished. they just gave me the manufactured faulted set. the table and chairs legs are not refined and grind and shine like I saw in the store and liked. now the paint is peeling off and it is not even a month. very decorating. it sucks not even a month. they are just passing the time so I can not return it and according to the protection plan the replacement is only one time. but what I am getting the first time. you have to give me a full nice finished dining set

I was also swindled by them . I paid for an expensive mattress and adjustable base and got a cheaper brand upon delivery.

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture 3 piece sectional

I purchased a 3 piece sectional in February of 2022. The left arm recliner shifts and make terrible noises. After a Week of having the right side recliner it got stuck in the up position that got replaced after 3 months. 5 month later my left arm recliner is still not replaced. sku # [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]. my email is [protected]@msn.com

I have had enough of waiting for a replacement. Every time I call to to find out what is going on I get the same story that the piece will be in at the end of the month. It has been 5 month still nothing and I'm done waiting. I want to return this sectional get a refund so I can purchase a different sofa.

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Raymour and flanigan Platinum Protection Plan

We bought a sofa and a love seat 2 years ago. Seat cushions collapsed, bent. The sofa upholstery was torn. When you sit on the love seat since the day it came home, the cushions slide forward. After a while, the Covid-19 epidemic started. When our complaints increased, we made a claim in September 2020. Service called for an appointment, but at that time we were positive. We postponed. No one called again for a new appointment. We called and could not reach them, we made 5 more claims. We went to the store last week. The service came today. After 9 months. The resulting sponges did not change. He covered the crushed sponges with a thin sponge. He sewed the tear, but it's still torn. And he put the cushion upside down so we wouldn't see it torn. He said it does not cover any of these. But when selling, they told us that it covers them and we said we paid additional money for it. He said I don't know what they said and left. A disgraceful company. Even Bobs Furniture changed the sponges twice, even though we didn't pay the additional warranty money. I will try until the problem is resolved. My final solution is the court.

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Stroudsburg Store manager, Chris was insulting and Rude

Went in to help my elderly mother pick out a few pieces. yesterday 6/19/22 at the Stroudsburg pa store location. The new manager Chris S was a rude and arrogant representative of the store. Some pillows were marked misleadingly with the incorrect price, instead of explaining it calmly or accommodating the mistake, he was rude, insulting, and downright nasty to talk to. there was a display of pillows, with a tag attached and hanging, clearly on the pillows rack the tags said 49.00 so when I asked for clarification over the price , he got very combative , told me i should shop at Walmart ... my mother has spent close to 20 thousand dollars at this store over the past few years. How ignorant and rude , he told me in his 4 years of working for the store , no one has ever questioned him like I was ... i just felt that the mislabeled products should be readjusted for others who would be confused as well ... all other items are labeled correctly in the store ...what made the pillows an exception ? He told me he had no time for me and that i was being combative ,and to go to Walmart ! Said he just transferred from the Scranton store .. they should review this man's public relations skills, even the sales associate seemed aggravated and disappointed in his demeanor .. he told me he was not seasoned and she apologized for his behavior calling him unprofessional herself. I never complain about things, but he was a very bad face for the store. I dont plan on returning as long as he is there ...we can take our business else where

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture I bought a chair, had to return it and then bought another.

I paid $1368 for the first chair

Returned it. I paid $1694 for the 2nd chair

Received a receipt for a credit of $1076

Spoke to Manager Matt who said I am owed nothing more.

I paid $1368 and then $615. Received no credit.

Means I paid almost $2000 for one chair. Neither chair was even close to that. Means I paid for 2 premium plans?

All under Order # 04132I4GFMW

Please help me collect the rest of my credit.

I should still be owed about $300 and one platinum plan. I paid for 2.

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture 4100 spent on the worst couch ever

I purchased this couch 2 days later it fell apart service came out clicked back together the leather is leather is excessive not enough stuffing I have called at least 6 people to complain just wanted to pick a new product called the manager he told me 40% restocking fee this is unacceptable for a $4000 couch I just want a different product this product seems to be defective They gave me a new left side when it was delivered it looked just as bad as the 1st one they gave me very unhappy and I will never buy From Raymour and Flanagan again just lost a loyal customer.

Desired outcome: New product with no extra fees I will even pick up a new product myself no delivery needed I will also bring back this piece of crap I paid $4000 for.
