If you don't owe a debt don't be had by these clowns. Google cease and desist letters and you will banish these clowns so quickly out of your life.

yeah you did. and if you are an ez mark they will come back for more. prepare yourself - google cease and desist letters. in fact if you can go after your cash. write these scam artists and demand proof of debt failure of which demand your cash back within so x days else you will file a complaint with the your state A.G. the letter should be certified, return receipt requested copied to your state A.G, BBB and local media. Your $250 will not be worth that much to them than being sued by the AG.

help that person by doing 2 things-you write this company certified return receipt requested and instruct them to cease and desist from acting on your behalf; 2-write the targeted person and tell them to write the company and request proof of debt, failure of which they do not want to be contacted about this debt any more according to federal fair debt collection act or they will sue if those instructions are violated.

don't be played. why didn't you have online access to your account? you would be knowing exactly if there's a debt owed.

you didn't say if you know for sure if there's a legitimate debt. start by formally requesting them to send you proof of the debt by mail to the address on file within 30 days. don't volunteer any info whatsoever. if they fail to establish the debt, they are fishing. write them a cease and desist letter, by certified mail, return receipt requested. otherwise pay the debt if its legit. then keep the payment records for life.

btw you sir are the typical american who is giving the rest of us a bad name on the world stage. you mean you even spent your time with these indian scammers, heavy accent with american/english names? you have a secretary, i thought you are a smart person? but kudos you smartened up before they got you. pls wisen up fellow americans. we invented google and we don't use it. we are mostly nonchalant about other parts of the world. else we would recognize these indian scammers quickly. haven't we learned enough from the nigerians?
i am sorry but this is the painful poor man's tax the $221. thus the lower class ensnare their goodselves in financial poverty.

don't let them bully u. google cease and desist letter and unleash one on them. ask for proof of the debt else you will sue them if they contact you about this debt again. if they threaten to sue you tell them to make your day. they won't. they are fishing. but let's say they sue and you either don't owe the debt or you paid it off, just who up in court with the proof, you don't even need a lawyer.

also learn to get your stuff done in writing. if it's not on paper it didn't happen and you won't have anything to prove your case with in a court of law. cancel by phone but follow through by certified mail return receipt requested.
If you don't owe the 7 k you don't owe it. google cease and desist letters and use them. call the clowns and request proof of the debt to be mailed to you via the address on file. don't give out your personal info whatsoever, nothing about you. they have 30 days to prove the debt otherwise they will be in violation of the federal fair debt collection act. and you can sue them if they make even one attempt to contact you about the debt. don't be lazy get on google and read how to handle collection agencies.

you should check your credit reports asap. dispute anything they put there. I hope you kept proper records of your payment, keep them for life because this phantom "debt" may be sold to another collection agency. as for the agency sending you nasty letters just google cease and desist letters and fire one to them to cease contacting you, the "debt" has been made good. send it certified mail, return receipt requested and tell them if they contact you again they will be in violation of the federal fair debt collection act and it will be your pleasure to sue them out of business.

ok. you have been treated unfairly because you are dealing with low life bottom feeders. the debt has been outstanding for 6 years and you don't have the money to pay. what's the worst that could happen? oh sue you? let's see if they do and i doubt they will, make sure you show up in court and tell the judge your situation.
what you need to do right now is find out about the statute of limitation for your state. the legally allowed time to sue you might have run out on them, they know so they employ these horrible tactics to get you emotional and to agree you will pay. if the statute of limitation has expired in your state you are not obligated to pay the debt. next google cease and desist letters and fire one to them. tell them you do not want any more contact from them regarding this debt as the statute of limitation has already expired. tell them if they do contact you they will be violating the federal fair debt collections act and you will sue them. send your letter certified, return receipt requested.

Whenever you can, pay them when you are ready and keep the payment proof for life.

google cease and desist letters and send them one, by certified mail, return receipt requested. tell them to provide proof of the debt. they have 30 days per federal fair debt collections act. tell them if they fail to do so to cease and desist from contacting you otherwise they will be in violation of federal law and it will give you the most pleasure to sue them.

it is a scam otherwise we would all call each up all over the country and demand some debt be paid back. google cease and desist letters and write them certified mail, return receipt requested.
huck you are smart you had a company 10 years ago but you amaze me because you are ignorant as well. dude google cease and desist letters and how to handle collection agencies. i think you are also an idiot. how can you give your social to verify it. did you even know who called you? you are the type that gets had by nigerian scammers. you are they type that perpetuate the ignorant american image. grow some balls. the guy low balling you is pro'ly a high school graduate who works for some lawyer from a basement office. How do they obtain that info? jesus christ on a bicycle, don't be lazy just google it. it's so ez you just might start a similar scummy company. ok here it is they start an llc, then buy debt portfolios from banks, or other agencies that they could not collect on. the banks don't supply them with any documentation on these debts. that's why your first thing is to request for proof of the debt in your cease and desist letter. also keep proof of payments these low lifes will call you for debts from 20 years ago.

oh my goodness! how could a student loan be amalgamated to a mortgage? how can a loan repayment be suspended to be resumed in the future? how can repayments be increased as the company deemed fit? didn't you see this is setting your self up? i thought you were smart, you went to college. what college did you go to so we all know to avoid it?

anywho, seems like you were scammed. the company operates from a p o box. they have pro'ly shut down the llc and moved on to another scam. i don;t know what to tell you except that in future use your education properly lest it be a waste and transact on written agreements. if it's not on paper it didn't happen. sorry.
