I received my monthly bill from Verizon, which includes my home telephone service and my on-line (DSL) service. I am on the life line program due to the fact that I am a low-income senior paraplegic on disability/ss income. So when I receive a phone bill $15.00 more than I expected, I took a closer look at my bill. This may not seem to be a great deal of money to some but for me however it is the difference between having phone service or not!

Upon further review of the charges I see 2 charges for Operator Assistance calls threw USF Carrier? with a charge of $5.49 ea and a administration fee of $1.65 bringing the total to $ 12.63! For calls I never made!

After several attempts to contact this OAN Services, inc. to no avail. I have contacted Verizon and informed them of the fraud and I do not intend to pay it. I feel Verizon should be verifying these charges from outside providers, if they are going to collect the fees for them! Including in the fee in our monthly basic billing for home phone service.

After all my thanksgiving Turkey didn't cost 12.63!

Check those monthly basic needs billings closely, We tend to just pay them due to the fact that we consider them necessities and reputable companies handling the accounts, so we consider them the least of the problems. I know I was wrong in thinking so.

I received an email from this company and when I tried to register the site kept telling me I had an invalid email address, but I used the same email address to register on this site. I guess if you are not will to pay the $60 per month charge all of the free communication in their advertisement they claim to give is not really FREE.
ALS is evil and manipulative. They are selling my home at an auction tomorrow on My Birthday. For months they lead me to believe that they wanted to help me but they lied. I put my home for sale to do a short sale and three times they rejected the buyers. Then two days ago they sent me a letter stating that they were closing the short sale process and that I should try a deed in lieu. So i got all the papers together and sent them in, then they tell my it's to late.

They need 30 days notice to do a short sale.

There are many hidden fees. The room rate is higher than what you can get from the hotel. They charge extra fees but they don't show all the charges. They make it impossible to change date or cancel. They charge $50 PER PERSON if you want to cancel it within 14 days. This is unbelievable. The customer service does not help at all.

I feel they intentionally set up many tricks. Once you get in, no way is out. How could they do business like that? They don't think for their customers. I will never use their website again and recommend anyone not to use.
Had a accident with our Dell computer. The charge port got broken. we sent it back to Dell to be fixed. We were told that the motherboard was broke and it would cost around $700.00 to fix. We declined the work, because we could buy a new laptop for cheaper than that. So we went and bought a new laptop, had Dell send back the old one. Well we figured it was broke we got a new laptop what would it hurt to tear it apart and look and see if we could fix it. Get it torn apart and the motherboard is still intact.

Don't buy from them! They are liars! Money sent - order never received!
I had a mortgage with Chase Manhattan Mortgage, my home went into foreclosure. I made arranged payment with Chase which all payment was made through western union quick collect Chase said they did not received the payments got letters from western union supplied them to chase even had Western send them a letter with all the payments listed they said they have to records. I decided to file bankruptcy but did not go through with it.

Got the house sold, relocated Chase was paid off I still think they owe me for the payments they received that they said they never received. On my credit report Chase manhattan Mortgage is listed twice one saying the house was sold paid in full the other Chase manhattan listed has delinquent. I have been trying to get them to remove it from my credit report since 10/2005 and still cant get them to remove it.

I am writing this report because Diamond Enterprises is a fraudulent company. I don't hear anything from them for quite some time and then they charge me $39.95. I want to sue these jerks.

A while back I went for the 'free trial' from Dermitage, now they are trying to take 75.90 off my debit card. They haven't got yet... thank goodness. I also did not see the s/p details on it. This is a rip off, they are doing this on purpose and are trying to take money from people who live paycheck to paycheck. In my life 75 dollars is a lot. I pay out over 200 dollars in prescriptions alone. And if they would have got that money off this time, I wouldn't had enough for my prescriptions.

Why can't company's be up front about their products. If I would have seen the link that was hid so well, I definately wouldn't have ordered this.

Called the auto teller to find out they charged me a 29.00 service charge. Called and they stated it was a fee for going over the 15 calls a month. Stated never heard of that, Asked if fee could be waived said no. Went into branch and spoke with them about it, nothing could be done. Their reply to me was why did you call 44 times, said did not know. Told them i closing out my account period.

On the subject of nsf's. They hit me for be overdrawn on 7/10 by 1.29 and hit with with 38.00 five days later. This sucks. People should avoid this bank altogether.

They lured me in by leading me to believe that the downloads were free, but then I was told that I would have to pay $19.95 for a membership. I was unable to immediately login to the website and get the software that I needed so I sent an email requesting a refund within minutes of placing my order, but Software HQ refused to refund my money and informed me that it was nonrefundable. I clicked on the box that said $19.95 for one month. I would have never purchased it if I would have known that it was over $50 (don't know the exact total because they didn't email me a receipt).

After I filled in my credit card information, approximately $50 flashed across the screen and then the screen was gone. I have no idea what I am paying for because their website states that it's $37.95 for six months, and my total was over $50. It said that membership is 100% guaranteed with 14-day money back policy. There was nothing about nonrefundable on the screen before I filled in my credit card information.

There is no way that I would use software from a company likes this, as it probably contains viruses. I called the bank this morning and put them on alert to this fraud. I will be filing a dispute with my bank the moment the charge clears. I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, or whatever it takes to get my money refunded and hopefully help other people from being victims of this scam. I will pursue this to the full extent of the law.
I was looking for replacement laptop batteries for a Dell Inspiron and an IBM Z60t computer. I found the Batteryrefill.com site and thought it looked like a good deal. I did some research to check on the site but did not find anything distressing. After sending an online order, I waited almost 2 weeks for a response with the shipping label. I sent the two batteries, then started to wait for the replacements. After not hearing anything for a week or so, I tried calling and got only to the voice mail. After persistent efforts, I was able to talk with someone that told me it would be another week before the batteries could be rebuilt. This continued for several more weeks, with me calling them every week. I finally contested the charge on my credit card and got a refund. I have not been able to get the old batteries returned to me. The total time for this process was 3 months. This company is almost impossible to get in contact with, and the customer service was terrible. DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF BY THEM!

I had heard from a cousin that the Acai berry juice was wonderful, fabulous, out of this world. After reading all of the information he had sent to us, I decided to go on the internet to do some research of my own. The 'juice' would sell for approx. $80/bottle, or that relates to $180/month for one individual at the portions they recommended.

After reading much information on the internet, I went the way that a number people have gone and ordered a free trial bottle of Acai Berry 500 tablets. Free for just $3.95 shipping and handling. The tablets didn't do anything for me. On their web page I did read that we had to cancel our 'membership' within 14 days or we would receive a supply monthly and an automatic charge to our credit card for $89.31. Well, I tried and tried to call the telephone number provided on the insert and printed on the bottle without success. Either the number was unavailable at the time or the circuits were overloaded, continually.

The insert in the free shipment, states 'Feel free to call us to re-order for a friend or if you simply have health questions. We are always helpful and hassle free Guaranteed!'.. 'thereafter, until and unless I cancel, my credit card will be charged... I understand that I may cancel any future shipments.

That is if I were able to reach them.

In January of 2006 I began my service with DirecTV. I had enjoyed one year of service with Dish Network, and as agreed they accepted my return of equipment and did not charge me for their expected two years of service.

I changed over to DirecTV because they had local channels on HD that Dish did not have at that time. I wish I hadn't switched. In April of 2008 after over two years I canceled and returned equipment through their equipment return program. I was told by a customer service rep that they would issue me a check for unused time for the next month that I had already paid for in advance. Charges had been made via credit card. Some time later I saw that they had charged me $360 for early cancellation. I phoned them, and they informed me that since my DVR had malfunctioned in December of 2007 and had been replaced, that I had an additional two years of commitment. They told me of an addendum to the customer service agreement that stated that each piece of equipment carries a two year commitment. I complained to the credit card company, and they reversed the charges.

DirecTV rebilled the amount the next month, and I am about to go ahead and pay the crooks just so I won't get any negatives on my credit. Before I pay it, I will check my credit report to make sure they haven't already blackballed me. Since I haven't found anyone who has successfully gotten them to retract this unfair charge I don't have the legal resources at hand to fight them. I have copied the Texas Atty General, and I will report to the BBB. Do not deal with these crooks.
The University of Phoenix's main premise is that the student can 'Log in and participate with your class when and where you choose. Participate three or four days each week depending upon your degree program.

This is not true. They only give you 4 weeks to complete the class. This is not enough time to 'learn' anything. And the teachers are not even available. If you ask a question you have to wait 3 days for an answer or longer. By that time almost all of the assignments in question are due! They give you so much work, but not enough time to complete it in. It is almost impossible to remember it all. Even if the student does well, they probably don't absorb the information that was covered. There is no standardized testing, and the whole idea that you can

'Log in and participate with your class when and where you choose. Participate three or four days each week depending upon your degree program.'
is a lie.

Sometimes the instructors post questions, and you answer them, but that doesn't count towards the 'participation' grade that mainly effects your score. The student's score is based on whether they log in and talk to themselves! It is ridiculous. I can't imagine someone actually graduating. I never got above a C+ after the easy 'pre-requisites' they made me take.

Originally the recruiter who called me to sell me on UofP basically ignored me when I said I wasn't ready to go to college because I couldn't afford it. He said, 'well you will make more money once you have your degree, and therefore make yourself more marketable in the workforce'. I didn't even agree and he still enrolled me. I cautiously just agreed (after he enrolled me)and thought perhaps I could handle it! I knew in my heart it was a scam, but I was hoping it wasn't. The 'recruiter' or as I like to call him 'scam artist' told me I could apply my credits, but none of my 65+ credits were applicable, so my graduation date was projected as 2009 and I enrolled in 2005. So the whole graduate in half the time scenario is also false, because they pile on so many classes it is basically like going back to school and starting from scratch!

All these 4 to 5 week classes all cost 1500 per class. Absolutely a rip off. Regular brick and mortar schools may boast about that or more per class, but at least you get a teacher, in the class and way more time to complete the course. If someone reads this and finds any kind of legal mis-doings, or could assist me, I would be very grateful. I know I must pay for the services, however, I feel I was conned, and now out a lot of money for nothing.

5 or 6 years ago I found an error on my credit report. Verizon Florida was claiming that I owed them $169 + for an account I never had. I disputed it with every credit reporting agency that showed it in their records. The credit agencies always claimed that it was proven to be valid. All the while, I never received any proof of any kind regarding this. This weekend, I received the first and only 'debt collection' notice from Afni. I researched my rights regarding this invalid debt that doesn't even belong to me. The statute of limitations ran out 6 years ago! The debt is supposedly from 2/1999. I sent a formal letter via certified mail with return receipt. I hope I didn't make a mistake by signing it. I don't know if they would go so far as to try and forge a document, but you never know. I know they won't sue because that would be throwing good money away. I'd love to sue them, though. They put a blemish on my credit for the last several years.

I ordered my product on 10.12.08, I received the shipment two days ago. Upon trying it, I decided I NO LONGER wanted the product, and have been calling ever since to cancel my order. I have not been able to reach a customer service representative yet.

Order 30 day trial of Hydroderm. Called on 9/24 for a RMA# but was told computers were down and to call back on Friday. Insisted in talking to supervisor who instructed me to use my order # as RMA. I was charged $84 for something I didn't want and never received! Called today 10/27 and was told computers are still down! Insisted on talking to supervisor again but he was of no help. His name (he says) is Jay Jimenez. He took my order # and said he would see what he could do. I told him I would take action in reporting them and expected to call on Monday 11/3 to find out if I have been refunded. Based on other complaints, I don't expect any action.
I received a report from Credit Inform alerting me to possible fraudulent activity. They listed an account with Midland Credit Management of San Diego. I've never done business with anyone in San Diego and have no knowledge of any outstanding accounts in the amount of $8017.

I ordered the free trial for 5.95 and was told I had 15 days to try it out, however the count starts when the product is shipped if it is ever shipped. In the case it is shipped then you must subtract about 5 days which reduces your trial time to 10 days.

But note this, the trial period also counts the days it takes to return the product so now you're down to five days, but it will take you 5 days to get a return authorization and by that time they have charged your credit card an additional $88.00 and you do not get another bottle. Keep in mind that until you get through to that bogus number your credit card is going to continue to be billed every month.

But the biggest problem is that I never could get through to the number listed and when you do they act like its funny and they almost call you stupid for believing the website. They are using Oprah's show to promote you trying their product and they have several websites under different guises.

I tried to call to cancel the trial before I ever received the bottle and was told I couldn't cancel the program until I received the trial bottle. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the service representative hung up on me. I think it is horrible for people to play on the plight of others and I hope that they are soon discovered as scammers and that their site is taken down.

I am attempting to run damage control with my bank to prevent any charges from this company. I just hope that its not to late.

An innocuous looking small charged showed up on my current Visa statement. Googleing the transaction description - Pioneer Media LLC - revealed others with the same experience... a charge of $11.99 or similar amounts. It's small enough to go unnoticed in most cases (in my case I don't charge small items though). Keep reporting it, though because your credit card has been compromised and should be canceled.

I am being charged for services that I did not apply for and the phone numbers that are listed for the company billing is not in service [protected]. This is the first time that these charges have appeared on my bill and they are unavailable for a response or cancellation of services.
I admit, I'm the fool, I fell for it and now I'm paying the high price of 25% interest rate. I got a check for $3000 dollars for an unsecured personal loan. I threw it out. I kept receiving the same offer for about 6 months. I needed to help out a family member, so I finally bit. I went to the local office to fill out paperwork and low and behold they would increase my credit available to $10000 but my finance rate would be reduced to 7.9% after a year of on time payments. I paid off a 14% credit card believing I'd be paying only 7.9%. It's been a year and a half. I have automatic payments, so they are always ontime. They will not lower my rate and said they never said that they would. I am now into them for over $14000 because of the ridiculous method of APR. How do they sleep at night. To add insult to injury, the also charge me an annual fee of $49. Rude when you call them and flat out liars and cheats. Bookies and laonsharks treat you better.
