Beginning in early 2007, The Grant People submitted information to me detailing what they could do to assure a Government Grant for my business. I submitted a check to The Grant People in the amount of $5, 000.00 which as they declared, was a reduced fee to provide all necessary paperwork to secure a Government Grant.

I then had to submit all required information to them in regard to the write-up they would do to secure the Grant. They sent me a copy of the proposal delivered to different businesses who would submit a Grant to me. (Their proposal was written from the extensive information I submitted to them).

Later, by August 30, 2007, The Grant People said they required I submit another check in the amount of $12, 500.00 to be submitted for continuation of the Grant submission due to the need to submit a 500 page document for submission for an even higher rated Government Grant they could secure for me.

I talked to several of the people associated with The Grant People in reference to when was I to receive my Grant, and was told many times over as to how it should take place at any time. By March 2008, The Grant People assured me the Grant should be secured within 3 to 4 weeks. By mid, 2008, The Grant People stopped receiving phone calls, and their web site was also unaccessible.

The Grant People never secured a Government Grant for my business and had lied to me about everything they were doing. I hope someone can help in assisting me in recovering the $17, 500.00 I submitted to The Grant People for the Government Grant(s) they always promised to secure for my business. In the meantime, never believe one single work whether writtten or oral, coming from The Grant People, or anyone else they are or were affiliated with.
This company has repeatedly contacted me regarding a debt from 1994 for a company that is no longer in business. The debt was obviously purchased at a low cost in an attempt to get me to pay. The debt belonged to an out of business company and was never valid to begin with. I am in process of filing a complaint to them and the better business bureau to have them end the harassment.

This company is in the business of buying bad debts and makes a habit out of scaring and harassing people into paying for them.
This is a company I have never heard of. They are debiting $1 from my account every month for many months. When contacted, they would not give out my membership number and indicate the account was closed in Oct. 2007. My credit card company has blocked the debit, but can only reimburse me for 3 months. I am sure this is a scam and would like to find out if there is a class action lawsuit in the works.

We are a military family and moved out of our condo and canceled service in June of 2008. We moved to Texas and placed our house on the market. The house did not sell until Oct. of 2008. It was sitting completely empty and unoccupied until it sold. Now Xcel is billing us $205.74 for services provided between June and Oct. I called to ask what the bill was about, and was told that since we had owned the condo we are responsible for paying the energy usage.

I replied that I should not be held accountable for the bill because I had specifically CANCELED the service! And it's not my fault that since Xcel did not turn the power off to the property it was still consuming energy. Their response is that they never turn the power off, they just take your name off of the bill. And since I did not turn the breakers off I'm responsible for the consumption.

I asked if they had something in writing stating that I'm responsible for turning off the breaker after canceling services to avoid getting charged. Their response was no. When I asked for all the information needed to contest this bill I was told to 'look online'. I said no that is unacceptable and asked that all the papers necessary to contest this bill be mailed to my current address. So I can document all communication.

I was speaking to Specialist Carmen employee # 6263.

I had also asked to speak with someone of higher authority who can help me with this issue. I was told by Carmen that they would have to call me back, so I gave her my number and had it reconfirmed twice. This all happened today so I'm still waiting for a response. I was told that they usually get back to me in the same day.
Like so, many others, I wanted to lose weight and seen an advertisement that I could lost weight for only $4.95. I order it. But, immediately seen a charge on my bank account not for Apria company but, CCnnutra for $39.95.

After making several attempts to solve the problem including writing to the company with no response, I finally got to talk to a person. I told them the situation and found that they were about to charge me for more products I did not order as well. Well, I told them i never received any of their products and if I did I would be returning them I no longer wanted any of their products. I received their products almost 3 weeks later after that conversation. Yesterday, I was again checking on my bank account and guess what ? I have been charged again. I tried to call them and after many attempts and hours I finally got a real person. He promptly told me I indeed order the products on 9/28 and that they charged my account for them. I told him I had canceled the order and I was not interested and when I finally received the products I refuse to accept them so, they were return to them. He told me I could not do that, I would have to open the package and followed the procedure of return..crazy huh? if you accept the package then you accept the charge. He promptly then hung up on me. I tried to call back and still can not get a person... it is a wrap-around message I keep getting.

I notified the bank yesterday, and had my bank card changed. I think I would be safer if I have a new account as well This experience has made me afraid to make or do anything online anymore. You never know who is a reputable business and who is not.

In checking my bank balance today, I saw a charge of $11.89 by Pioneer Media LLC that I did not authorize nor do I know what this charge is for. I am in the process of contacting my bank to further look into this matter. I am very curious how this charge could happen without my prior knowledge or approval.

On October 24, 2017, I was scheduled for the installation of my Direct TV HD services with activation of my new account. To my surprise, when I came home that day I noticed that my Charter Communications (broadband internet services) had been completely removed.

The installing technician took it upon himself, without asking permission first, to completely yank the coaxial cable installed by Charter, unpin it from the walls of my house and selfishly used the drilled port for his own line which had been lazily pinned outside of my house, with nails hanging out of the wall causing the cable to hang and dangle. It looked hideous and unprofessional.

I immediately called Direct TV too calmly and respectfully requested that the technician return to repair the damages he had done to my internet service provider's cabling into my home so that I may restore my services. I was told that I would need to wait for a call from a 3rd party the next day, and to call back if I did not receive the call by 6pm. I never received a call the following day.

I called Direct TV back and spoke to a nice lady from technical support who attempted to call the technician who was responsible for vandalizing my internet equipment to have him immediately return and correct his negligence. I was disconnected over the phone after waiting on hold for almost 30 minutes.

I called back and spoke to an incredibly rude support agent by the name of Brad who was quick to accuse me for the destruction of my own property by not personally 'requesting that the technician not uninstall any services in my home by Charter.' I asked Brad to be elevated to a representative who might assist me in filing a complaint, and I was denied. I asked Brad to speak to his supervisor, and was denied. I was told that the only thing he would do for me is give me a number to the sister company in my area responsible for installing services.

Disappointed, but realizing Direct TV had no remorse for their irresponsibility, and clearly no intent to assist me, I called the number Brad gave me only to be forwarded to a tedious and confusing automated teleprompt system. I called Direct TV again for assistance, where I was placed on hold while the technician made the call for me. I was told that I would need to wait several days to have the technician return. I asked if there could be any possible way of expediting my service request due to the circumstances, and was shot down by being told, 'There's nothing else we can do for you.' Or in Brad's famous words, 'call Charter, maybe they'll help you quicker.'

So I did. I called Charter and explained what was going on. I was immediately placed in priority support and was told to expect a technician the next day to repair damages inflicted by Direct TV. Friends have suggested I collect a letter from Charter's technician explaining the unlawful conduct by Direct TV, and possibly file a small claim for the damages; for now, I agree to at least maintaining a statement by Charter – maybe then I'll get through Brad to speak to that supervisor.

Call the Supervisor of the Consumer Relations Department, Bill Bannister at [protected] if you want some help getting misreporting off of your credit, OR if you just can't get through to anyone else who works there at the regular toll free number.

These thieves have made our life miserable and I am doing my best to get the contact information of the people who matter most at HomEq out there to the public so those 'high up's' in the company can really know just how screwed up HomEq REALLY IS. Good luck dealing with them. They are trashy, unprofessional and uncaring.

Unfortunately I purchased some of the ultimate colon cleanse on the internet, after being suckered in like so many others. I realized that i could not get through. I received a note like countless others saying that i would be eligible for future payments. THANK GOD I did get through and apparently my stuff has been canceled. I am on this site to reiterate this via the site. However, these people are disgusting. I have since read so many testimonies and I cannot believe how disgusting this all is. How can we stop these people from operating?

I sent my debit info to Dermitage for a free pre-trial sample of their product. Later, I noticed that I had been charged twice for the $4.99 shipping charge. I called and canceled the order and asked for a refund for the double shipping charge. I did receive the refund. So I never thought twice that the package would arrive. Now my debit card has been charged for 99.99! After 1 hour and 10 minutes on the phone, Dermitage states that the $99.00 charge is for the full price of the free trial. What part of free is this? Further, I did not receive the pre-trial package so now I have to dispute this with UPS who state the package was left at the porch of my house. Do you know how many vendors come during the day with promotional fliers, cosmetics etc...

I am now having to fight UPS to get my $99.00 for the free trial! Since Dermitage wants the pre-trial packgage back. Screwed by dermitage in Texas!

I cannot believe the conversation I just had with Gary, one of the so called relationship managers with Juniper Bank. Guess what? THIS RELATIONSHIP IS OVER! Because I mistakenly sent them my September payment, on time by the way, in an amount that was $5 (that's five dollars) less than the correct amount, this company not only charged me a $39 late payment fee, they also raised my already obscene interest rate to an even higher obscene rate! 26.99% APR. Now here's the best part... are you ready... for October I sent them a $5000 payment, on record before I spoke with Gary, think that had any bearing? NO WAY! They still raised my APR. I've never been late, always paid the minimum, often paid more. Obviously Barclays is not interested in a happy and satisfied customer, angry and upset is OK as long as they pay. Well, not this customer. I have cut up my card, and will be sending the pieces to their executive management, and paying off the remaining balance of my account.

I purchased from the King of swords A cobra stun pen, the money was debited on the 7th February 2017, I then received email that a shipment was held in customs, i thought ok, when it came to June 2017 and several more emails, I started to get concerned about the company, made a search and found their name on your web site, it has now got to October 2017 and they still have not reimbursed me or tried to complete the order. They also do not answer their phone best to stay well away from this company.

I ordered this free offer and was promised delivery by October 22, 2008 and it never came. After reading all the other [redacted]s, I am going to my bank and closed the account. Talked with the Attorney General of State for Florida and found out that they have numerous complaints of fraud against them, now there is a surprise. I am filing my complaint with the Attorney Generals office for business fraud and let the state handle the scammers and hopefully puts them out of business and better yet have them deported.

I usually don't go out and write this kind of thing but I wanted to warn anyone who is thinking about using this company. I recently relocated from the Los Angeles area to New Jersey. I called them and they came out and did a walk through and seemed ok. I agreed to use their services for pick up and storage - for 2 months - and the eventual move to New Jersey.

I was originally told that the move would take about 2 weeks and when I finally received the delivery - it took 1 month from the day I called to schedule the delivery. First they claimed that the delivery was on the road and the truck was in New Jersey, a few days later they told me the truck broke down and would be here when it gets there. I was then told the delivery would be on a Friday and I took the day off, only to be called that Friday that they would not be here but instead would be there on Saturday. I can understand having truck problems but the lying and the attitude and rudeness, not to mention being hung up on several times, shown by them, especially someone named Maria was just not right.

And oh by the way, if you have questions after they pick up your stuff, the standard response was 'we will not unload your stuff, we will put it in storage until you pay in cash'

Well, my stuff came and guess what, some of my items were missing and others were damaged. I immediately called them and they at first denied even picking them up, asked me I left my 'recliner chair' in my old living room, ridiculous, and just about hung up on me when I asked for a claim form, of which I am still waiting for.

I also had the driver sign a letter stating that they did NOT deliver my chair and a few other items and some others were broken in delivery. It's been 2 months now and I still have not received the claim form or a call. I have called repeatedly and always get an answer machine and have not been called back.

It's really a shame that you try to trust some company to move all your belongings and memories and have to deal with something like this. I can understand that sometimes things happen but it's the attitude, rudeness and nastiness that this company has shown, that would make me be very careful before I anyone should use them.
Ordered a replacement part for my hunting tree stand, a heat shrink replacement tube. Cost was only $9.95 and a total with shipping of $14.30. Ordered on Aug 9. Made numerous attempts to find out the status. At first they responded, apologizing and stating that they will ship the item out ASAP. Over the past month, they don't even respond to my inquiries. Everyone be aware of this company, as it seems to be nothing but a rip off.

Unfortunately after several incidents and several hundred dollars of overdraft fees, I have figured out US Bank's strategy of misleading their customers in order to collect an ungodly amount of fees. I recently deposited a $400 check into our account due to the fact that the same problem I'm about to report occurred and we were charged over $300 in overdraft fees. So, after depositing the $400, I went online and noticed that at the top of the online statement, there was a note indicating that $300 was being held pending clearance of the deposited check.

HOWEVER, approximately 24-48 hours later, that note disappeared and my Available Balance was showing about $196. Additionally my husband called to check the Available Balance and was also given the $196 figure. Naturally, one would assume that Available Balance would mean those funds are available for use, and by their own definition listed on the website, 'This balance lists the funds in your account that are available for withdrawal. This is the Account Balance minus deposited funds being held or check card authorizations outstanding.' Note it says MINUS deposited funds being held. This actually is not the case - when I clicked on the blue hyper-link provided on the online statement, I was shown that the $300 is still considered unavailable funds and our Available Balance is actually negative $103.

If we didn't have access to the Internet in order to find that out, and went solely on the information given when my husband called in to check our balance, we would have been charged overdraft fees on any purchases we made. That is how we got all the overdraft fees to begin with - another deposit was made previously and because the Available Balance showed the entire deposit was available, we were naive enough to believe it and spent money that apparently wasn't really available... even though they told us it was.

This practice is unconscionable, underhanded and downright dishonest. Why list funds as available when they aren't? Overdraft fees... period. In the meantime, because those funds aren't available yet and we're still in a negative balance, I actually had to borrow some of my daughter's birthday money in order to get some gas and groceries! We live paycheck-to-paycheck and the bank is slowly milking us to the point of having to borrow money from my father and my 11-year old daughter just to get by.

I would be interested to hear comments or other incidents of this occurring.

Total fraud on the internet... Instantly charged our credit card for a background report and the link was broken into recordsarea.com... Received absolutely ZERO for $39.95... No phone to call them and complain... No one will return and email... They are laughing all the way to the bank.

Please don't waste your money on this website like we did... You will get nowhere. I have noticed lately there are numerous background check sites that are ripoffs. Another one is Net Detective! They instantly charged our credit card and then the links would not let us in to do the background searches. It finally let us in one or two times in one night and since then will do nothing. When we called to complain, the girl on the phone was rude and said to call AOL. Total run-around and total loss of money... Buyers BEWARE and RUN... or you will be broke and have nothing in return for your hard earned money.

I did not order this product, the 1st. I knew of it was when it showed up on my bank statement. I called my bank, they put a stop on my card at once. The charge was for $5.95, no real address, I called the # on bank statement, was told by recorder had to go to website which they gave me, no such web-site. I pray that by my bank card being stopped they can't get anymore of my money, as I too live on fixed income.

I can't believe the insane fees that Wachovia has charged to my account. Judging from all the reports I've been reading Wachovia has made a big pile of money by charging excessive NSF fees. In less than 24 hours my account went from a positive balance to being overdrawn by almost $300!

Upon closer examination I've discovered that this past year alone they have charged me upwards of $2000 in fees. I'm not rich and I don't have the kind of money it takes to withstand blows like that. Now I'm down to do I pay the light bill or do I buy groceries for the kids?

The government is up there in Washington sending the banks these large sums of money in a bailout. I'm sure that Wachovia will be getting their share of money from Uncle Sam. Unfortunately I'm on my own in this - there is nobody to bail me out. This most recent charge of $350 in NSF fees was as a result of a transfer that Wachovia made from my checking to my savings. I was unaware that the transfer was going to be made or had been made until the damage was done.

Believe me when I say that I am totally through with Wachovia. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. I plan on closing my accounts with Wachovia as soon as I possibly can. I will never again do business with them under any circumstances. The only reason I really need a bank is because my employer requires direct deposit. Once I get away from Wachovia I will be very careful about how I do business with a bank again. I'm sure I can find a way to satisfy the direct deposit requirement from my employer and still use a bank as little as I possibly can.
3 months ago I ordered a replacement lamp for my projector. I was told I would have it in 2 to 3 weeks, finally after a month it was shipped. When I tried to install the lamp, I found that they had shipped the wrong product. I sent it back to them using UPS, I had UPS email them the tracking number, and after 2 and a half weeks, I did not hear anything. When I emailed them they stated they needed a tracking number. If I cancel the order I have to pay a 17.5% restocking fee, and I don't even know if they have the correct lamp to ship me.
I did a reverse cell phone search with Intelius for $14.95 to see if it was a new number for this man who was stalking me. They signed me up for some service from PM Identity without my knowledge. When I accidentally learned that there was a strange charge on my checking account, I called the Bank, and they gave me the contact information I needed.

I called Intelius and did get through to customer service and they agreed to credit my account for the current month only. They had charged me $19.95 for five months. I still don't know what the service was for. It doesn't matter because I never wanted the service or to spend more than the $14.95 that it cost for my information. I called the 800 number for privacy.com and disputed the charges. They refunded me for the 5 months and claimed that my information was taken off of their database.

I am still very alarmed of how this could happen. At the very least something seems to be misleading us into not realizing we are signing up for something.

I recently watched Oprah and she raved about Acai Berry for weight loss. I decided to turn to the internet to try to find out where I could get this and how expensive it would be. I found a website that offered a 14-day trial period for only $3.95 S&H. I have yet to receive the product that I have paid for and have tried numerous times to contact the company to see where my shipment is and to cancel anymore monthly charges that could occur. You never speak to a live person, you just get a recording and music. So right now I believe that this product is better at losing your money than your weight!

Need to get my wheels barrier replace on the left driver side of my truck, the price started off at $500.00 dollar by the time I got a call the price was $1009.00. Okay, the manager was saying now I need to get my rotor replace and I just had those done last year and brakes as well. Then the manager gave me the long story about my the tire falling off when he place my truck on the lift. Then I told him that I didn't have $1009.00 to get my truck repair, then he stated that if I didn't pay for entire repair, I won't be able to get my truck back with out paying something the minimum would be $500.00. Okay I drop the truck off on 18th of October and I explain that prior to leaving my truck that I didn't have the money.

So, I ask could I leave my truck here until the 31st of October, because I needed time to come up with money. Okay the manager agree I could leave my truck there and won't be charge a storage fee or diagnose fee. Okay after talking to the manager who was very disrespectful about not allow me to have my truck towed, I was speaking with on the phone and he never mention that my truck couldn't be towed. The store manager call me back a hour later and said that my truck couldn't be towed because it only had three tires, so he told the towing company that they couldn't take the truck. I wanted to have to truck towed back to my house which was walking distance. I called the corporate office and spoke the distance manager and he was worse the store manager. Bottom lines is don't ever take your vehicle to any of the Just Brakes they are about making money at your expense.
I have ordered from this company several times and now no response whatsoever and they have my money! Ive emailed and called numerous times with no response! What the heck!

Family Credit Counseling charged my account for $989.00 on October 3rd, 2008. On October 14th they transfered my case and files to another agency, but they never transfered the money they took from my account to the new agency and they never made any payments for October to any of my creditors. Reported them to Florida Better Business and Florida Attorney General.
