I ordered a product that was shipped by DHL. A delivery notice was left on my door with a contact phone number. I called on two separate occasions and was promised that it would be delivered the "next business day." That was today. When it didn't arrive by 5:00 EST, I called and was told that "it will not be delivered today." I find this to be totally irresponsible and DHL failed to provide the customer service they advertise. If you need something delivered reliably and on time, it is my opinion that DHL should be the last service choice!

I called Rooms to Go to return a sofa that has been replaced for a second time and the second couch has the same defect (defective fabric). The customer service representative told me that RTG does not have a return policy after 48 hours of the purchase date. The RTG web site clearly says that you may return merchandise for an 80% refund after 48 hours.

Is there anyone out there who has actually returned anything to RTG? I am getting the run around even though their web site clearly states that you can. It just seems that no one at RTG can explain how this is actually done, which is just another way of avoiding returned merchandise.

The sofa fabric is terrible fabric. The stitching is substandard with irregular stitching everywhere and the fabric dye is already starting to splotch after just a few days.

I am always on the computer paying bills or browsing through ebay to see what new deals i can get. One day when i was on the computer I saw an advertisement for a diet pill called the acai berry. It claimed that it was featured on the Oprah show and had also helped other celebrities like Britney Spears lose weight. The fee for the product was just shipping and handling of $5.95, so I decided to try it. So after I paid for the merchandise, a week or two later I received the pill in the mail. I eagerly opened the package and began looking for an instruction card. I was unable to find any directions. So, I began taking the pills. After a week or so I wasn't feeling any different. I put the pills aside and forgot about them for awhile since after all i had only lost $5.95. About a week later I was checking my balance on my bank card, and noticed there was a withdrawal of $88 and then some. I quickly began searching through my records only to find that in addition to my $88 charge I also had a $79 charge. I tried calling the customer service number that was on my receipt invoice only to find a busy signal. My two sisters also had purchased the "free trial" and were charged outrageous dollar amounts without there authorization as well. They too began calling the customer service number to try to receive a refund and cancel the product. Only one of my sisters was able to get through, and the company would not let her cancel and only continued to try to sell her more phony products. I did research on the internet to try to see if this was a major scam, and found that tons of other people had been through the same ordeal. My sisters and I ended up having to completely change our bank accounts and put blocks on our accounts, as it was the only way to stop the company from taking money from us.

These people were nice as could be when ordering the watch. A swiss rolex for $750. What they sent me was a piece of crap that barely works and is most definately NOT 18kt gold. Stay away from these people they are crooks! It sounds like the guy had it right. Everyone order watches from these guys and then refuse the order when it comes in. They at least will have to pay the fed-ex shipping on the orders. Not that that will hurt them as they are making huge profits off garbage watches.

Why is there no way to shut people like this down. Again, stay away. They will steal your money.

I kept getting the pop-up of Acai Berry Diet Supplements and I would ignore them, X them out... whatever. However, one day I figured I'd find out what all the fuss was about. It drew me in. I got sucked in and I applied. I DID read all the small print. I was well aware that within 14 days I would need to cancel. I did get the package with 2 different 866 numbers. I called both. I then went thru my email account and found the confirmation email with ANOTHER 866 number. Thats 866 number was busy ALL DAY.

So... I had to call my bank and close my debit card. So now I will be without a card and have to contact all the companies with my debit card number and re-direct them to a new number whenever the *** that comes. The sad part is, I took this *** thing and it made me violently ill. So I have thrown it away along with my debit/credit card. Fabulous!

Be careful.

Total scam never order and please help me get my money back as I am still trying to cancel the order and no luck as the packets keep coming and my credit card is still being charged. I will not even bother to try the rest as I was feeling bad not trying for more months. Now that the credit card is charged without my authority. I would like this to stop at once or I will have to take legal action. Can we all do that for such scams?

If any one is taking legal action please do let me know.
Today is 10/20/08. My lease payment to chrysler financial is due 10/26/08. The monthly lease amount stated on the contract, and the amount I have been paying since 5/06 is $494.44. I went to the website today to pay and the site indicates my balance due is $500.11. I was not late in paying last month, so I am not sure where this extra charge is coming from. Of course when I call chrysler customer service, they can not explain why I have the extra charge... so of course it is my fault. Everything they can not explain is 'something the customer did wrong'. They have the absolute WORST customer service in the history of customer service. Also, the reason I pay on line is the fact that they have never sent me a statement. When I had my vehicle for about a month, and still had not received a statement, I called the company. They stated they had sent the statement and did I give them the correct address. I verified the address and they said to call them if I did not receive the statement for the next month. In the mean time I paid over the phone. It is now one week before the next payment is due... no statement. Call Chrysler again, they said they sent the statement. Month after month... no statement. Of course this means I must be dropping the statement in the gutter when i take the mail out of my mail box... my fault again. After a year and 5 months I have not gotten a statement. I wonder where the 17 statements have gone?

Stater Brothers Grocery store, Cypress CA. As we were about to eat our food from the deli at home, we found feathers inside the chicken's meat. We were able to pull them straight out, 4 of them. On their fried chicken. Service is always good, but their food is not what we were hoping. They always run out of food, so if one day you go into that store's deli and ask for salad, chicken, fried potatoes, etc... don't get surprised when they tell you that they are out of them, what a way to manage inventory at that store.

Although I love my car (and all the other Toyota's I have purchased in the past), the recent delivery of my 2008 Yaris Liftback has left a sour taste in my mouth. Here is the laundry list of my recent bad experience.

When I approached the dealership a few months ago with interest in purchasing a Yaris, they tried to get a $500 deposit for a "special order" from me. After some talking I found out that there was really no such thing, they said they could only make a request to receive a car after it comes into port. At this point, I told them that if they can find a car I am interested in, I will give them a deposit.

About a month later, the salesman called me with a car he found. I came in, signed the paperwork, gave him the money, and was told that the car would be transported from the other dealer the next day. The next day when I arrived at the dealer, I was informed that the car had been sold to someone else even though I was told the car was mine and I had signed the paperwork for having the car transferred to my dealer.

They kept my deposit and another month went by. I ended up researching incoming vehicles myself and gave the dealer the VIN # of the car I wanted—the only factory option installed on the car were the fog lights. I specified some additional SET options I wanted installed on the car (interior lights, stereo, splashguards, mats, exhaust tip, and electrochromic mirror) and received an email from the dealer confirming these options and the price. The day the vehicle was to arrive, I signed all the paperwork, finalized the loan, had a temporary registration, but guess what? The car DID NOT show up!

A week later, the car finally did arrive--with a large dent in the driver's door no less. I was told that they would fix the dent for me during the week and do "whatever it takes to make me happy." Since my truck was in the shop (someone crashed into my truck a few days prior) I went ahead and accepted the car under the condition that they would fix the problem.

I scheduled an appointment for them to fix the door, and took my Yaris home. The next morning, during my long commute to work, I discovered the following problems: the interior lights installed were white and orange interior (not the blue ones I ordered), the stereo installed was a crappy Audiovox/Advent Stereo (which didn't work properly—audio from CD was unlistenable, illumination didn't work properly, and it wasn't the Toyota Stereo I ordered--not to mention they charged be $400 for this $50 sub-standard radio) the center armrest was loose and damaged, there was no exhaust tip installed, and the dome light switch was broken. Needless to say, I was not happy!

A few days later, I brought the vehicle back to the dealer for them to fix the dent. The dent was pulled and the result was satisfactory to me but it was not perfect—if you look closely you can still see a small dent in the door. With regard to the radio, the customer service manager had the service department look at the radio and they confirmed that the unit was broken. The manager said they would order me another stereo and I told him, "No way, this is not the unit I ordered and I am not going to pay $400 for a piece of *** Wal-Mart stereo."

According to the manager, the reason my car was delayed at port was because they ran out of the radio I had ordered and installed this one instead (without my approval.) I told the manager that this type/quality of non-functioning radio was unacceptable to me and that I would put my own unit in. I requested a refund for the broken unit and was told by the manager this “was not an option.” Prior to this, the manager had been cordial but his tone began to change after discussing the radio.

He had the service department look at my other issues and obviously told them I was a “troublesome customer.” When the car came back from the service department the paperwork said my complaints were “interior lights don’t work and center console is installed at wrong angle.” The mechanic’s comments were: “interior lights functional and center console angle is not adjustable and is built into the car per Toyota design specifications.” When I read this I was furious—I grabbed the service manager and told him to look at broken center armrest. I explained to him that I am not some [censored] customer complaining about “everything”, I am a mechanic with 16 years experience and know the difference between what is right and what is wrong. When I explained to him that I was complaining about the armrest (loose, not fully secured, with broken plastic around the bottom of it which secures it to the center console), he noticed that the armrest was indeed damaged—he ordered a new armrest and a new dome light assembly (which was also broken as I stated.) With regards to the interior lights, he said that would be something I would have to take up with the customer service manager.

When I spoke to my salesman he told me that he would make everything right and that I would be receiving a phone call from the customer service manager. Here it is two months later—and the issues are still not resolved. In order to make this right the following needs to happen: I need a refund for $399 for the Audiovox radio (I will surrender the unit back to the dealer or SET), and I need the correct interior light kit given to me (I will be more than happy to install this myself as I am done dealing with Harrelson Toyota in Rock Hill, SC).

This experience has been one of the most frustrating things I have ever dealt with in my life. In this country, when a person purchases a new vehicle, it is a given that the vehicle should be 100% when it is received by the customer—if not, then the dealer should “make things right.” As you can see, this has not happened. The dealer will not work with me, the distributor will not work with me, and Toyota America will not work with me—I have filed complaints with all of these entities and all of them give the same answer: There is nothing we can do.

HP record keeping has victimized me in my attempt to print, for the first time, photos on my Photosmart C5180 printer. They claim my warranty ended in Sept. '07, but I brought the computer in this calendar year!

First, I attempted an online chat, but was told they could not support my computer, a MacBook Pro. Then, I was given the runaround at their phone center - first, told that I would get help despite their claim about my warranty, and then, second, told that I would not because of their warranty claim. Arrrgh!

I have not printed ONE photo as yet.

I purchased a small ticket item, a USB cable that was repackaged and tagged as inspection approved. Not thinking much about it, I went to use the cable about 45 days later, only to find it does not work. I went back to the customer service counter to be told there is nothing they can do about it as my purchase is over 30 day. I can get a little personal but the little blond with the big ego didn't make me any happier. She would not offer anything, period.

So buyer beware when shopping at Best Buys. My $12 purchase opened my eyes.
Received a call from GMAC regarding my husbands auto loan which made me realize this was due a few days ago. I could not find the bill, they would not let me in to the account on line and they would not give me the account number so I could make a one time phone payment. My husband had to call while at work to get the account number and they hounded him to make the payment. He wrote down the account number and hung up! Overall I spent about an hour just trying to make a stupid payment! Poor customer service!
After five years of paying a chevy astro van with americredit sometimes late we also talk to representative of the lates for payments we got never repo in those instances but short of the last 3 payments my vehicle got repossesses and short after the vehicle was redeemed and paid in full.

That was in may 2017 and was reported to the credit bureaus as repossess when it should of been paid close still equifax has it reported as repossess and also trans union and my credit report scores keeps going down specially equifax. I am in the process of buying a house and they are questioning this as an explanation of why is repo if it is paid in full.

My checking account is being charged $19.80 by your company. I have never authorized these charges and I do not understand why this is happening. I would like you to refund the money and take my name off of any list you have saying that this is ok. My checking account is now -$180 because of overdraft and service fee's. A couple other company's have also been doing this to me and I believe their linked with your's somehow. If this is not taken care of I will see to make sure it does.
My computer wasn't working- from what little I knew- I thought the hard drive crashed from a virus. Took to firedog for a diagnostic test- $60. Told I need a new hard drive-$275+. another $130 charge I'm not sure of- they told me to order from Acer a recovery disc-$30.

When I went to pick it up- then they told me- whoops- CD drive not working- another$70. I told them to take out the hard drive and give me my computer back- they said OK- BUT an additional $60 for their time and labor. So I've paid out $150 pretty much for nothing (didn't take the new hard drive, etc.

Took the computer to another independent repair shop- $45 diagnostic test, and needed ONLY a simple part they sold me for $15. (I never needed a new hard drive, or the recovery discs.) Firedog techs are very incompetent- at least the ones at the Lancaster, PA store. I will never go there again- and will warn all my friends also.

I purchased the free sample of Acai Berry on October 8 and before I could even receive the free sample they charged my account on October 21 for the next 31 day shipment. I am currently trying to get a hold of the company to cancel the shipments but have sat on the phone at least an hour and still noone has answered. Even though, I have not tried the product I would not recommend it due to the fact that they are unreachable and unreliable. The receipt said that the product would be shipped within 24 hours and I should leave 4-6 days for shipping. It has surpassed the time frame and I have yet to receive a product and am now paying for the second shipment and have not lost a pound while paying for the product.

I ordered the free trial. It gave you an option for a "Green Tea" offer. I opted not to get the Green Tea offer. I checked in with my bank to see my charges and I found out they charged for the Green Tea offer anyway. I called and pressed all the options available for getting in touch with a live person only to get recordings, they ask for all my information on the recording saying once it's received they will cancel my order accordingly. Not a happy customer here. Beware of small print on any "FREE" trials offer.
Had problems with dentures fitting @ appointment I had on 10/17/2017 and before I left their office I told them and they said I got out of the chair so i would need to make another appointment so I left called the next day asked to speak with the manager he stated that I could not be seen and the earliest I could be seen was Monday @ 10 AM I said is this the way you treat your customers and he stated that I was not a customer that I was a patient and this was a doctors office I told him that was ### and that they except walk ins and he stated that was for new patients only not to come out because he would not let me in the building I went anyway and I still was not able to be seen I told the manager that maybe I should tell his customers to go somewhere else he called the police when the police arrived I told them what happened and they agreed with me and that I was a customer and this was a business.
I went today to the Burger King on Montfort Dr, Dallas, Tx, and ordered a Whopper and a cup of water without ice. I responded no to the many suggestions of the salesperson trying to sell me products I did not ask for, like french fries. I was charged $2.99 for the Whopper and $.25 for the cup of water.

I called around the area and the Whopper is selling for $2.59 in other Burger King stores and there is no charge for a cup of water (I have never been charged for a cup of water in a fast food restaurant in Dallas before).

I understand that stores are privately owned and there may be some differences in prices, but charging for a cup is not acceptable. This particular store is a consumer ripoff.

I came home to find a phone bill with a charge from USBI. After three calls to them - in Manilla! - I was told my husband ordered it through the internet. They could provide me with no proof, not even an email address. Then thy told me I had to pay the charge or be tuned over to a collection agency! Of course, they'll issue me a credit. What kind of crap is that? The "Supervisor" could not provide me with corporate HQ info or names! This is fraud at it's finest - why does Verizon allow this? Where are the regulators? Where's the government?

I have a rental unit in Florida and received an e mail about it. After researching where it came from I found out that Vacation Travel Club was trying to rent my place. They said it was for a client of theirs. What they are actually doing is renting from me, bumping up the price and scamming their clients into paying more for the unit. I only do business directly with clients and told them that. I got a nasty e mail back from them saying they do business this way a lot and they won't bother me again. Beware of where you rent from!

I read the website of National Home Protection before signing up but failed to do a Better Business Bureau check. Their website is full of lies and deception. They promised Home Depot gift cards for signing up for a 5 year plan. I did that and then they gave all these excuses as to why I didn't receive the gift cards. But as a consolation they offered to send me less than half the value originally promised on Home Depot gift cards. As you can guess I've never received those either. To top it off, I had to call them for a service since they are a Home Warranty program. They did not fix the problem, apparently nothing is covered. Not sure what they Home Warranty covers. Once my 5 years is up, on with another company. Don't fall victim to their lies and deceptive advertisement. They make promises they have no intentions to fulfill.

I took my 11 wk Dalmatian puppy in to Banfield b/c she had a small lump on her neck that seemed to be tender when touched. The attending vet looked at her & immediately told us it was cancer & said that it needs to be surgically removed IMMEDIATELY or that my puppies life was in danger. For some reason, in the back of my mind I did not believe the lump was cancerous at all. I had to ASK THE VET for an anti-inflammatory to try to bring down the swelling. The veterinarian was very rude and condescending when I would ask her questions about my puppies' health.

She gave us a weeks' worth of anti-inflammatory & an antibiotic & we scheduled the appt for surgery, b/c we didn't know what else to do. During the course of the next week, the bump started to get smaller, so we decided to take Kali to another vet to get a second opinion.

This vet was EXTREMELY thorough & even withdrew fluid from the bump & sent it to the lab to be tested, a procedure that the vet at Banfield told me was not possible. The results came back today, & the lab determined that the bump is an inflammation & has absolutely no cancerous cells whatsoever.

Banfield wanted to put my 3 month old puppy through a surgery that was not necessary at all. They determined that the bump was cancerous based on absolutely no medical findings. I will never take Kali back to Banfield again!

Hopefully this review will save somebody from the stress & worry that I went through to find out her bump was nothing! Luckily she is all better & happy as can be.

My husband and I attended a presentation in Feb 08. We were in a good financial situation at the time and were getting ready to purchase our first home. So we took the opportunity to join because we knew we were going to have a lot of work to do on the property we were buying. Well the seller stalled and the bank that had agreed to a short sale rescinded their acceptance because the seller was stalling. We lost the house to auction. Within a month the house we were renting was sold our from under us as well because the landlord defaulted on the mortgage. Now we were truly homeless. We had to move to another area some distance from work and our children's' school which left us with a hefty commute. On top of everything else the company my husband worked for cut his hours in half. We immediately contacted our center and informed them of the financial hardship we were currently having. After much negotiation they agreed to freeze our membership. Sounds fair right? Well according to the finance company that collects the monthly installments on the membership just because they froze our membership doesn't mean we stop paying for the membership. Now they are calling my house 3 to 6 times a day demanding money from us, money we simply don't have. When I asked the representative if they wanted me to pay them instead of feeding my children and keep them warm they told me "You signed a contract to pay and you shouldn't have if you couldn't afford it". Funny when we joined we could afford it, if I could see into the future then I could still afford it because I would know what the winning loto number are too.

I ordered a free trial of extreme acai berry on Oct 12, it also recommended a partner in Total Cleanse which I also ordered. The s&h for the acai berry was $3.95 and the total cleanse was $5.95. Both stated a free 15 day trial. The receipt stated that estimated delivery date would be Oct. 17. On Oct 21 when I still had not received my product I tried to call the numbers on the terms for customer service.

(* also note, hidden in the terms, it states that the 15 days may be less depending on delivery time, so NO you aren't getting 15 days from receipt, it is 15 days from ordering.) So 9 days of my 15 have already passed without receiving. Leaving me 6 days to 'try' and still unreceived.

Luckily I tried to call before the 15 day trials expired, because I found that the acai berry phone number is busy all the time accept for after hours when you will get a recording telling you to call during business hours and the phone number for total cleanse wont even go through at all, it just promptly disconnects.

I called my bank right away and reported the fraud and canceled my card before they charged me the full amt for a month supply when I haven't even received the trial. They have it set up so it is impossible to cancel during the trial period.

I'm sure Opra would be major pissed if she knew they were using her name, and likeness on their website to draw trust from customers.
