I joined Direct Medical out of Irving Texas. A discount plan which includes supposed discounts on medical services. A total RIPOFF! My doctor, a blood lab (which is on their website and in their booklet), a radiology site, (on their website and booklet) and my eye doctor (also listed in booklet) EVERY OFFICE refused the card. Seems my eye doctor never signed up for it at all. When i called them to get a refund they basically called me and the office staff liars! I bullied my way to getting $179.00 monthly fee returned but $135.00 application fee was not. THIS IS A SCAM! Don't fall for it!
Calvary Portfolio Services called me at my place of work and said I owed money to AT&T long distance. I was "slammed" years back and called and complained directly to AT&T and was told that the invoice would be removed. I was wondering if it was legal for them to be able to call your work? I probably could get fired from them calling, I thought it was illegal for them to call you at work. Any input anyone? I think they should get fired and also the work number they called was on the do not call list.
I ordered Acai Berry Supreme on 10-10-08 for 15-day free trial. I still have not received my order and it's 10-21. I tried to call their toll free number [protected] to cancel my order and any future orders. The number automatically disconnects me. I've called at least 10-15 times and every time it disconnects.
In small print I have until 10-25 to cancel otherwise they will send me more bottles at $89 each. How can I cancel if they won't answer their phone!

I purchased carpet from Empire today, they installed the wrong color but would not replace it for the right color. They said I had to purchase a new roll of carpet at there price, which I already purchase carpet for over $5, 000. They would not make up for there salesman wrong doings. It was all the consumers problem. They hurt the small people in this world, that does not much money to replace anything. If they were a stand up company for their product, they should go out of their way to help with the mistakes they made. Well all the complains they should be out of business. Do not purchase anything from this company.
I went to aspen dental for thousands of dollars of work. I was told I would be receiving services come to find out these services were never provided but I DID pay for them. I have been left with bone spicules and fragments of tooth left behind. There are many problems I have been left with and Aspen is trying to rectify the situation with me by referring me to a dental rehabilitation specialist. BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE! The staff as well as cooperate are not very pleasant to deal with and I would stay away from this place at all cost. I have temporary dentures that do not fit as well as bone spicules, and pieces of tooth left behind. It has been one month since the surgery and I am still fighting tooth and nail to get anywhere!
I called Ic Systems to speak with them about the payments that I setup to pay them every 2 weeks. For the first two payments everything went smooth no reason to call. I went online to check balance to insure everything was fine until I realized that the last payment they took out of my bank account (showed on my statement & have image) was not showing on there records. I called to speak with someone about this and from the moment I got on the phone I was being yelled at and told I wasn't listening to the lady. I asked for a manager she said she was as high up as they come. I asked if I could speak to someone who was not so mean and maybe having a better day and she continued to tell me that she had no record of payment and I needed to call my bank because they did not get paid. I asked the lady what the bank remitted to them when they collected the payment she said she did not have that information. She told me to contact my bank and send them proof from the bank that the money was paid. I called the bank! Bank gentleman told me the money was paid and is now sending me the image of the payment and the statement to send to IC systems. May I also add that when I asked whom to send this information to she said there is no one to send to just send it to the address.
I purchased a "Dirt Hugger 150cc" from Legion Global Motor sports in June 2017. I am still having problems. After nine (9) phone calls and treated rude by the employees I finally had received a return call. The Go-Kart I purchased is horrible. Many problems with the battery, roll bars, missing parts, leaky gas tank, headlights, very poor instructions. The battery when installed was touching the muffler due to poor design by the company. I had the battery melt and had to purchase a new one at $64.00. I notified the company many times and nothing happened. I finally received a phone call and they did replace the battery and I told them about the leaky gas tank and they sent me another tank which happened to be the wrong size. I called and told them about their mistake and they said they would send one out. I never received the other tank. I then had to purchase another tank at my cost. This company needs to be investigated for illegal practices.
I ordered South Park Collection from Best-Box-Sets.com one month ago and since then I didn't receive any confirmation or tracking #. I e-mailed them 3 times and still no reply. Today I called my bank to cancel the payment.
I totally believe Best-Box-Sets.com is a scam. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
First Incident:
I opened a Wells Fargo account in Denver, CO for school. I had been a 3-4 year customer of BoA and had no intention of changing but I was unfortunately forced to as BoA does not have branches in Colorado.
At first, Wells Fargo representatives were charming and when I was fraudulently overcharged (the first overcharge ever) they did not count it against me. However, they were not so kind for further experiences.
After not checking my account for a 3 day period, I signed on to look and lo' and behold I was overdrawn in the hundreds. The cause? A $5 overdraft, hit with a NSF fee of $15, and an overdraft fee of $35. A $5 overdraft that did not exist mind you, it was another one of their banking mistakes. I called them, the issue was sorted, but they did not refund me the money they took from me, and I stayed in the red.
This overdraft ridiculousness then continued. I was being hit with overdraft fee over overdraft fee. Being hit with overdraft fees FOR my overdraft fees and very shortly I again had $200+ overdrawn. When I attempted to get help they claimed it was from 2 weeks ago when I made a $10 withdrawal at my campus ATM and that it took 2 weeks for it to debit. That it was my fault.
They of course did not return any of my money. And for the Consumer rebuttal fanatic who will say I should not rely on online as my guide, I didn't, I use a check register. Wells Fargo defrauded me. Period.
Second Incident:
I had written a check to myself (to transfer money acct to acct) from my BoA account to my Wells Fargo account. Before doing this, I called the bank and asked them how soon I would have access to the money. They told me I'd have check card access today, and cash access tomorrow morning at 8am.
I went into the bank and when the teller accessed my account, I very plainly asked him, 'Regardless of my negative standing the check will have access immediately through my card, correct?' He then informed me yes it will, and deposited my check for me.
I then attempted to go to Burger King only to have my card denied.
I called the number on the back of my card and was informed that because of the $200+ overdraft (incurred from the First Incident) that the check would not clear until the next morning for ANYTHING regardless of what the teller had said. I immediately called the bank, and the same Teller who had just said the negative standing did not matter, then proceeded to tell me that because I was in the red, it would not clear until morning.
He then proceeded to tell me that, however, if I made another deposit, this first check would cover the $200+ overdraft, and I would then have immediate access. So, I made another check deposit of $980. I was assured I would be covered.
I again, tried to use my card and it was declined.
I called the number on the back of my card again (as it was now approx. 5 minutes after 6PM and the bank was unsurprisingly already locked down). I was then informed of the same, that it would not be available until the next morning. When I asked if I could have some money released tonight (as I needed it) he then, in a very enthusiastic voice, said it was not possible and bid me a good evening.
Moral of the story: Wells Fargo sucks.
Those f*cking mor*ns ripped me off! They charged my credit card for 49.95 unauthorized and I never received my order... Besides they call me about 5 times a day, even when I am on work. This is unacceptable actions from their side and I am sick of their harassment. I want to start a class action lawsuit, if anyone interested email me.
I have been a customer of Hughes Net for 5 years, only because I live in a rural area and have no other choice for internet service (I don't consider dial-up a choice). The service has not been that good since I started but knew I had to live with it until a wireless tower was built within range of my home. The service with Hughes Net continued to decline through the years, and many frustrating hours were spent on the phone with people that can't even pretend to care. I upgraded my modem to the 7000 in February, and paid the premium price of $79.99 per month for 'the best' plan. It didn't seem to make a difference in my service, which continued slow. I have been thrown off through their FAP about three times a week, which is extremely frustrating. I tried all known wireless companies, but was forced to live with slow service with Hughes Net. (There is a wireless internet service tower within 2 miles of my home but it is blocked by my neighbor's pole barn). This did not stop my search for a wireless company, and last week I finally found one that is 9 miles away and they provide and excellent signal. I never thought the internet could be so fast, this is really amazing. NOTHING comes close with Hughes Net, THEY ARE NOT HIGH SPEED. When I called to cancel my service, they informed me that I will be paying a $300.00 'early termination' fee. After being a customer for five years? What do they want, a lifetime commitment? The girl was actually laughing at me on the phone and said I can't do anything about it, because they reset their contracts when someone upgrades the equipment. I talked to three people on the phone, and each one told me that this is something that Hughes Net has as a policy and I can't get around it. Now I know why I wasn't told of this fine print when I upgraded. I would think that if there is an upgrade in the equipment, that it shows customer loyalty and people should not be penalized for this. I am frustrated and have to live with losing $300.00 to these scam artists. I feel the $300.00 is worth the price to have service that is light-years ahead of Hughes Net, AND I'm paying $40.00 per month for this! I will never go back to Hughes Net, if I have to use a satellite in the future it will be through another company, or I go to dial-up. I recommend anyone considering this company for service to run as fast as you can the other way. You will not get good internet service or customer service, and you will pay a high price. Lesson learned.

I have been with Blockbuster Total Access since they originally launched. Lately I've been receiving DVDs that are either unplayable to actually broken. The quality control is hideous and it can be seen at the local branches as well. They do not take care of their older DVDs or even replace them. Sure they ship fast, but I would rather have my damn movie work when I watch it. I can't imagine anything more frustrating while watching a movie than see it freeze up because of scratches.
I also tried to re-surface all these DVDs and some even twice but I could not get them to work to play all the way through the disc. Shame on blockbuster for becoming a Corporate mongrel with ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY.
I'm aware of the feature to send back damaged DVDs, but I'm not here to get something free. I want to talk to supervisor from Blockbuster and ask them "Where is your quality control?" They don't even list an 800 number to call and voice your complaints. You have to email them instead through a form that doesn't even reveal their email!
I have been trying to purchase Endnote X2 for Mac for over a month. My first delivery arrived within 14 days of my original order. Instead of Endnote it contained Studio MovieBoard. As per their directions I reported the error via their website. When I entered my credit card details Digital River informed me that I had placed an order for Norton AntiVirus! Eventually I was issued with a return authorization for Movieboard and told that Endnote had been re-sent. When the new package arrived it contained --- Studio MovieBoard.
I paid 1700 for a front loading set back at the first of the year, well a month later the heating sensor went out on the dryer no big deal. i thought mabey jar in shipping. well now its october and i have had to have it fixed 5 times! this is stupid, so i call lg they say well the repair man must say it cannot be fixed for us to replace it! well it can be fixed! but its just the point i have spent more time with it not working than i have using it!so after the warranty goes out i will be stuck with getting it fixed every 3 months! so my advice is they are a nice set and i love them but i will never buy LG this has not been worth my time or my money!
I have been a member of a Lucille Roberts gym in Manhattan for two years now. Even though I no longer work near this gym I did sign a 2 year contract (stupidly) and I did not move more than 25 miles away. Therefore, for the past year and a half (I stopped going there after 6 months after I found a better gymn) I have paid my dues even though I no longer go to this gym. Now my two years are FINALLY up. I have been trying to set up cancelling my membership for WEEKS to no avail. I have called the [protected] and hit the customer service button only to receive a busy signal from it's hours of 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. then a recording letting people know they are closed from 12 pm - 1 pm then another busy signal until 5 pm. I get the same busy signal when I try the number my gym told me to use [protected]. Also, I called my gym on Wall Street only to be told too bad about the busy signal there was nothing they could or would be willing to do. Therefore, after posting here I am forwarding this to SHAME ON YOU as well as the better business bureau of Manhattan. I work for an excellent Manhattan law firm and I urge anyone who has a similar complaint to email me at lmarino84 AT yahoo.com as I am thinking of drafting a class action suit against Lucille Roberts. This is unethical & I believe illegal as well.

Bought this at Smart & Final several months ago and first had occasion to use it this past week. Performance generally satisfactory, but the ratchet mechanism is so flimsy that use of a stiff mixture can bend or break teeth, rendering the device inoperable. My past experience with caulking guns (same mechanism) tells me that the designers didn't actually test it for use with the normal range of baking & pastry products. It's a shame, because the brand name is well regarded, and this product does not live up to expectations.
Redesign/strengthen the ratchet system and this could be a very serviceable tool.
On September 14 I contacted Cruise America to see if they had a recreational vehicle available that my brother might need after evacuating from Hurricane Ike in Houston. I talked to Jackie, explained the situation and, unable to reach my brother because of power outages and/or cell tower phone problems, I put a hold on a 30 foot vehicle that had "just become available due to a cancellation in Kingman, TX". Cruise America requires a $300.00 deposit. When I put the deposit down I made sure that should we have to cancel (it was for pickup the next day - less than 15 hours away) I would get my deposit back. I was assured that I would. Lo and behold when my credit card bill came it showed a $300.00 charge to Cruise America. I talked to Jackie but she was unwilling to do anything about the charge. I will be contesting the charge with my credit card company. I feel that this charge is unwarranted and just another company who takes advantage of the customer in a bad situation. In addition to posting this message on this site, I will be contacing the State of Texas Consumer Protection Division as I feel this is a gouging of the consumer during a state of emergency.
My husband recently tried to buy us a new Sony desktop and a pair of hybrid (analog and digital) TV tuners from Sony. It was the worst electronics decision we have ever made. Our new Sony VGC-LT29U would not receive HDTV. Our local cable company rewired our house, twice, tried at least 3 cable cards. I called Sony for 2 months, asking them to please fix my new expensive computer. Every time I switched from a digital to an analog channel, or the opposite, my picture would freeze, and then show me the error message "tuner not found." Sony blamed it on software incompatibility, and after 2 months I sent the whole mess back to Sony. They are now, of coarse, refusing to refund our money. We have a Sony tv that has never been a problem, worked great for 10 years. Our old Sony desktop with XP worked great for 4 years, and then the dvd drive failed. Something has really gone downhill at Sony!

June 15 I went to Lowes to purchase three, yes, three storm doors. Customer service in store was awful, but I'm a busy professional and my need for doors allowed me to overlook the lack of service in your new South Chicago City location.
I was told that I did not need to be home to have my storm doors measure. The crew measured. I went into the store the day after the crew measured � hard to get help and when I did, I was told no measurements were there and I would receive a call.
I never heard a word and called back a month or two later. Instead of measuring three doors, they measured one. The gentleman I spoke with promised to send his best person out. Again, at least a month passed and I never heard a word.
I called 1.5 weeks ago and again I was promised by Tom, the sales manager that he would take care of me. He did get someone out the next business day which was a week ago today, Monday. Tuesday Cora called to ask if I�d been measured, I told her yes and my long story. She said someone would call me back�.never happened.
Tonight I called and asked for millwork. I was on hold for 7 minutes before I called back and asked for store manager.
It was no surprise that when I did ask for store manager, the woman on the phone told me that it would be a while because three other customers were waiting to speak with her. Imagine that!
The phone attendant asked me what I needed so that she could prep the store manager while I waited, when I told her, she transferred me to Cora. Cora did recall speaking with me last week, but instead of working to get me a price and helping me to get three storm doors that I have been trying to purchase for FOUR MONTHS, she insisted that I stay with my original sales rep who I did not recall and who obviously forgot about me. She insisted. I asked to speak with the manager.
I finally got to speak with Tracy who promised someone would call me back��
Why should I purchase from Lowes now? Why should I have to go through any hassle of getting my deposit back from you or returning the hardware for the storm doors that I can not BEG you to sell me? Where is the SERVICE in your South Chicago City Lowes store!

I purchased a laptop from Best Buy on 6/24/2008. Their Geek Squad did the installment of the devices and software, but was unable to load all spyware etc... due an internet issue. I got my internet issue resolved by the phone company. I took the laptop into Geek Squad sometime in July to get the remaining software loaded to my laptop and complained about the slow speed and asked at that time if the spyware was slowing it down etc...They told me that was normal. I am a low user and only use my computer 1-3 times per week. I used the laptop for about 2 months and noticed it was still running slow etc... Finally the laptop kept going into "blue screen" mode and there was a clicking sound I could hear. I took the laptop in on 9/14/2008, described the issue and asked if the item was under warranty. They told me it was and the Geek Squad associate said it was the hard drive, he could tell by the clicking sound. I was on vacation from 9/15-9/20. I did not hear from best buy until 9/24 or so stating that my repairs were going to be $900. I told the person I was under warranty and they told me the issue was that there was severe liquid damage to the laptop and the hard drive, mother board, and keyboard had to be replaced and they do not cover that under warranty due to the issue being a spill. The laptop cost me $699 when I purchased it. I told the person that I did not spill anything on the laptop, I had barely used it. It�s on my desk in my office and I don�t have any kids. I was emphatic that I did not spill anything on the laptop. They told me that was all they knew because they are just the repair dept, so I called the store itself. The store manager Lewis told me that all he knew was that the repair order said liquid damage and there was nothing he could do for me at the store level. So I called 888-BestBuy which is the corporate complaint number. I talked to Chris in customer relations told him the whole story, he called the store and spoke to Lewis while I was on hold, came back and told me the laptop was in the store for 5-7 days before going to the repair center. So I was stating my case that I thought the liquid damage was caused at the store and how could they definitively say it was me. They said at the time they sent the laptop out they noted spill marks on the bottom of the case but that was not noted the day that I dropped it off on 9/14. So Chris tried to get the repair done under warranty for me. The repair center did not accept his assessment of the situation. Meanwhile Best Buy was supposed to get back to me by 9/30 with the decision. They never did, I had to call back. Meanwhile I get a repair estimate call a couple of times a week. When I called back I went through the same issues, they told me that it was liquid damage and there was nothing they could do. I finally spoke to a supervisor Tina and she said I could have a second opinion. At that time she said they had pictures of the liquid damage etc... and now they are saying it was not noted that that there is evidence on the outside of the case but it�s all internal. Not really sure what a second opinion is going to do for me, when it appears the spill happened at their store. I really feel like I am being taken advantage of. The laptop never worked 100% correctly and I listened to their lame excuses and it never got better now I want them to honor the warranty and they are conveniently saying the issue is spill damage and that�s one of two things they don�t honor warranties for. I also feel that this was done at the store with the laptop laying around for days and I have no recourse to say otherwise, meanwhile I am out $700 for the laptop and the $300 that I spent having Geek Squad set it all up. Their story keeps changing and I am positive that I did not spill anything on this laptop. Why do they have the right to just say it was me and end the situation, seems convenient to me.

I called AT& T to get internet service back in May of 2008, the service was unable to be connected due to the wiring in my building, I contacted AT&T, they were suppose to send someone out, the technician never showed up or called, I contacted AT&T to cancel my service, due to the wiring, and was told I was still responsible for the bill, after trying to prove to them that I don't have service, have not had it since I called back in May, they gave me the run around, still no resolution, I've to a Shauna in Resolution, who had a very gross disposition, I will never ever refer or consider At&t again in life!
