Priceline.com review: Booked 4 non-existent rooms - damaged family vacation

Trip # 369-072-423-95, Motel 6 Chattanooga Airport confirmation #6515283411 for 4 rooms. Received confirmation email which had an invalid phone number for the front desk. Arrived on site around 4:00 pm. No rooms available. Hotel said they'd also been given an invalid phone number with which they'd been trying to reach us. We need to leave a sick son-in-law and a dog and get to Ruby Falls by 5:30 to use $360 of timed entry tickets. I had angry family members, five anxious grandchildren and no time to find rooms. We wound up paying twice and much for lodging and rushing and stressing to make the evening work. Upon trying to reach Priceline a few days later, after 3-4 hours, 5-6 foreign born agents, 2 times not receiving the promised return calls, I will NEVER open the Priceline site again and will spread my story at every opportunity. Penny the AI was the most sympathetic and apologetic. Maybe I can laugh about that - one of these days. Oh, I had a similar experience with them about 3 years ago, but it involved us flying into Orlando after midnight with a disabled sister.
