We went to popeyes today for lunch (London,on, Canada - Dundas & Clarke Rd). I asked "what is the current specials". I was told there isn't any & I had to order off the menu. That was a lie! I ordered a 2pc dinner for 2. They charged me $28.25. When we sat down we saw a poster on the wall for 'a special called the 'big box'. The contents were exactly what I had ordered. The special is $8.99 + tax. That means I should have paid $18.00 + tax. I was overcharged approximately $8.00. When I complained to the employee, I was told it was because I ordered it off the menu & did'nt ask for 'the big box special'. "SHE 1ST TOLD ME THERE WAS NO SPECIAL" She made no effort to refund me the difference. I'm totally pissed & will never return to that store again!
