Popeyes review: 10 piece spicy chicken meal purchase Laveen AZ $33.00

I went through the Drive Through at the Popeye's at 35th Avenue and Baseline Road in Laveen Arizona on February 6th at approximately 1:15PM. I order the 10-piece family meal for $28 dollars and change. My total was close to $32. I declined a receipt. My credit card was under John H Knight. I drove two miles home. Issues:

1. I ordered the chicken spicy. It was not. I was the only one in the Drive Through and the meal was delivered promptly thus it was sitting.

2. The chicken was dry.

3. The two sides were pitifully small. A large fry at McDonald's was bigger than the large side of the family meal. if a family of four was to be fed at $8 per person, the French Fry allowance would have been 6 fries per person. The large side of Rice and Beans would yield one Tablespoon per person for a family of four.

4. They were all out of Sauces and I wanted Chicken Fingers

5. Upon getting home, the 10-piece meal yielded 2 Breasts, 2 Thighs, 2 Drumsticks and 4 Wings. It was a paltry amount of chicken for a family meal.

Based upon this experience, taste and price, Popeye's is a bad choice. It now makes me realize that being the only person in the Drive Through at 1 PM should have made me select an alternative choice for lunch.
