Planet Fitness Harassment

My friend was at the gym in linden and this man come over to her and hit on her and she turned him down down . Then he call her nasty names so the worker of the gym came over and she told them the man was harassing her and they told her because they didn't see what happed they wouldn't kick the man out or ask him to leave. I think this is very unprofessional and but my friend in danger. So she went right up to the desk and canceled her membership.. No one should unsafe at the gym and not believe a women who was being harassed. I hope in the future you protect women. We will not be returning

Planet Fitness Opening on weekends

It is very unsatisfactory when the weekend opener does not show up at the a ocean springs, MS. Location. This happens way to often! There should be a requirement for the employee to call at 6:30a.m. and tell the manager they are heading in to work! We are tired of standing around waiting and no one shows up! A system, of some sort, should be used to keep this from happening.

Planet Fitness My car was stolen and the girl behind the counter was gone too.

August 23rd 2021 I came out of the gym after using the hydro bed with my girlfriend to find my car stolen and the staff MIA. Police were called, they arrived, we waited on the girl to return for over an hour and she never did. I had a friend come and pick us up and a half an hour later we returned to the gym and she still was not there. She left a note that said be right back but the place was open for business no staffing on the premises and now she is suspended for the week so no one can question her about anything. Not only that the manager has still failed to get the camera footage together and tried to give me a 2 months freeze on my membership to compensate but I don't even want to set foot in that place again. This is a huge crime and they are treating it like a joke. Please help me

Planet Fitness members walk around in side not wearing a mask

i joined planet fitness on merivale rd in ottawa ontario canada, there are many members who walk around inside the gym not wearing a mask, i was told youi must wear a mask while walking around inside the gym, only to take off mask while doing a workout on the equipment and you are to put the mask on before you leave the equipment when walking around, the employes working inside the gym do not seem to care, not properly run there, they should hire staff there that know what they are doing, and know how to folow goverment protocal . manditory to wear a mask to protect all members.

Planet Fitness Cleanliness

Men's locker room showers alway a mess and nasty …. Looks like molded or stained shower curtains, shower curtains barely hanging on. No where to hang towel or clothes while showering … I use the same massage chair everyday and the same trash laying on the floor for 4 days… iv been to other pf and for the berea business to be this sloppy it is not a very good look for berea… all of the other pf I have been to are much cleaner.

Planet Fitness Discrimination based on political beliefs

Fox news was taken off both tv and replaced with home shopping network. I watch fix when I do my cardio. I feel conservatives are being discriminated against. You employees need to know we are watching. I have been coming to this location for years. I am disappointed. South Philadelphia Planet Fitness.

Planet Fitness Very rude and inappropriate manager named Drake (westland location)

July 22nd, 2021- I entered Planet Fitness expecting a relaxing tanning session and instead I was rudely greeted by Drake a slouching, cold, and very rude employee! I disregaurdeddisregarded his attitude and proceeded to ask about tanning.

Drake - shouts you have an outstanding balance of 18$!

Jacob - OK I thought a payment was made yesterday and I was current?

Drake - you cannot enter the building or use the facility if you have a balance!

Jacob-That not true because I have been a PF member for over a year and no employee has ever refused me or anybody else with access to the facility do too any balance let alone an $18 balance? I also made a payment the day before.

Drake-You have a balance every month and I am just trying to help you! Your just mad! You only made a partial payment!

Jake - I was shocked that an employee would say that to a customer, secondly it was boldface lie, and he was not helping me, or the situation and it was now rapidly escalating. I asked to speak to a manager.

Drake - I am the manager and I am the only one here.

Jacob - OfCourse (I immediately asked for corporates contact # or an email where I could file a complaint and his employee id or name.

Drake-We do not have a corporate number or office! Your just mad you have a balance!

Jake - Let me get this strait Istraight I made a partial payment yesterday but because of 18 dollardollars balance you are not gonnagoing to allow me to use the facilities today and I cannot speak to anyone else, but you because you are the only managerperson here and there is no one above you that I can speak to.

Jake-I advised him he should think about what he is saying and how he answers these next questions will determine if hesHes not only a horrible manager but a liar as well. Drake was displaying an obvious lack of education and professionalism, and clearly possesses no people skills or problem-solving knowledge wichWich is alarming considering those are the basic skills needed to be a manager of any type. This fully displays the lack luster hiring process and employee evaluation all the way up.

Drake-I was going to let you but since you want to be rude no you cannot use the facilities until you pay your balance.

Jake - wow you know that you are acting very inappropriately right now and when I speak to someone other than you, I will have them explain why you are apologizing to mewhen I talk to your boss and finally get ahold of himhim, I do not think he would be happy with how you are handling this situation in fact you are making the problem worse that is why I am trying to talk to someone else?

Drake-ImI'm going to call the police if you do not leave!

Jake-Call the police officers? Wow ok I warned him that treating people especially a customer in this matter is ridiculous and I reassured him that he would be appolagisingapologizing to me for his actions today. There is a high probability he would no longer be managerand would not be a manager atleastat least at this location and even fired if he continued to act in this wayhis childish and motiveless HEreasoning and created an issue with me personally by insulting and judging memanifestation of a customer complaint.

Drake - go on the website I do not have to give you any more information about me or any of the employees that work here!

Jake - I left to the car and immediately returned to cancel my membership? he agreed with no hesitation an as if he wanted me to cancel? he did not say anything for at least a minute or two, so I told him to let me know whenever he was done with the paperwork.

Drake - here you go as he holds the cancellation form in a snobby manner if I was as if I was some dog fetching a newspaper! Here!

Jake - avoid avoiding any physicality with him I told him to leave the cancellation form on the table and I would look over what did he need me to sign and where (mind you he never once mentioned Are you sure you want to cancel why are you cancelling? Drake knew exactly why I was canceling! just like he will learn when you make decisions there are always consequences and informed him that you cannot conduct business in this manner and act in this way and face no consequences!

Drake - you do not need to sign anything I cancelled it! People like you have said stuff about me before and I am still manager! As he laughed and smirked an evil smile.

I returned to flat Planet Fitness to hopefully speak with somebody other than Drake to try to address the incident and drakes' behavior. When I arrived Cody was the only person working behind the desk and then ask Cody what corporates number and who was his boss? he replied frank is my boss and my only boss which I did not believe because there is no way a Planet Fitness would employ a person like that, and a managerial position let alone a store manager! I told Cody that I no longer wanted to discuss anything with frank and that I needed to talk to Frank's boss. frank then emerged from the back and interrupted the conversation by night longer wanted longer wanted to speak to him because he does not do anything to help the situation. he asked why I was there, and I told him to speak to somebody other than you and I'm not going to go lie until I do because you are a liar a horrible manager Ann you treat people in a manner that is unacceptable, and I must address the situation to teach you a lesson. he then asked me if I was a teacher and I told him no I'm just educated unlike him. then he says Dude Wich is so unprofessional and I explained to him that I do not speak to people that use the word dude because first I'm not a dude and I am not his dude I am a customer in a place of business and now I am an upset customer that has cancelled, and I have a complaint. I asked frank one more time who is his boss and he said he was calling the police officers on me. I told him to call the police officers so I can get the police report unbelievably the police officers told me that I am no longer allowed there and I am now banned from other planet finesses as well. They escorted me out of the building. very embarrassing not for me but for Planet Fitness I hope they see this email and handle the situation accordingly. I hope to see somebody in higher management takes action and really uses this experience on what not to do. I expect a personal apology and they should automatically reinstate my membership with a free water and reassure me that will never happen again by firing, demoting, Drake for his unnecessary and abuse of power! He single handedly loss the company money, and a membership simultaneously for absolutely no reason at all. He could have avoided everything by just saying "make sure you pay that balance by the end of the day. Instead, he called the police officers because he could not handle a situation with a customer issuing a complaint? I hope the CEO (no names yet) surprises me and makes things right! All decisions have consequences even the good ones.

Desired outcome: Personal appology from drake himself, reinstatement of my cancelled membership, and d Drake should be fired but demoted is also applicable do to his lack of managerial skills!

Planet Fitness Rescind a complaint.

Greetings. I was recently sent a review communication from Planet Fitness asking for my evaluation of my local PF and due to a slight misunderstanding I gave the facility a 7 out of 10 rating. I really feel it deserves more like an 8 or 9. I do enjoy working out there and would not want to cause any hard feelings. The staff and equipment is great! Cheers!

I go to the gym around 5am. The guy that works the night shift is usually asleep in one of the storage rooms. Planet Fitness Annual fee

I worked in Whiteville, North Carolina and I had to drive all the way to Lumberton, NC just to cancel my membership to planet fitness. Then I seen where I could not get my money back for the annual fee. Well if you getting ready to charge someone the fee aren't you suppose to send a email to inform them that it's that time again to start your new year with an annual fee. I did not receive the email to inform me of that. I been wanted to cancel my membership because I work so far away and I have to check on my mom everyday so I really can't get there to work out because of limited evening time before work in the morning. I have paid several months without going then you take my annual fee without notifying me and if I would have cancelled my membership early u would have charged me. I feel the only thing the fitness center want is money and you know a way to block everyone in. I am far from pleased with your service and you need to do better on refunding peoples hard earn money. If the membership is cancelled then everything else should be cancelled. I will not recommend your center to no one especially hard working people with financial difficulties.

For planet fitness Arden, Nc It would be nice to have some bathroom toilet seat cover. Some members still have a hard time lifting up toilet seats. It would be a little more sanitary and safer for your members.

Planet Fitness Customer service

6:30 pm; July 11; in the Planet Fitness on Mass Ave in Cambridge, MA — I was mistreated by the staff member on duty behind the desk:
1) I asked that he time my transition from Total Body Enhancement to the Tanning booth
2) He felt inconvenienced by my request so he asked that I walk back in between.
3) I told him the same request had been accommodated by every other staff member every other time and he responded by shrugging his shoulders and let me fill out the paperwork as if he were accommodating me
4) When I transitioned to the tanning booth and undressed it had not been set up. I had to put my clothes back on and walk out to the desk.
5) He reminded me that he had said "no" and I asked why he let me get in there undress and dress again — why not just tell me and I said I'd be making a complaint and asked that he set up the booth.
6) He made me sign the form again, claiming I'd not signed it previously (and indeed it was gone)
7) When I went in and got undressed the booth was still not set up.

Desired outcome: I paid for Black Card membership and the right to use the tanning and total body equipment and I followed the rules. I had a right to reasonable customer service. I want to receive notice that the staff member has been reprimanded

Planet Fitness Use of app for entry to gym

I am being told in my gym that it is now the policy of PF to require all members to use PF's app on their cel phone for entry into the gym. I do not have a cel phone and do not plan on getting one . I am constantly harassed upon entry and have the app rules explained to me. I have a tag with a number on it. I think this should be sufficient. Employees should be trained that either system is fine and should stop harassment of members about the app.

Desired outcome: Stop pedaling a foolish policy that will alienate a certain population of the membership

Planet Fitness Request a refund.

Planet Fitness, located at Wayne, Michigan & Belleville, Michigan has treated my family unfairly.

Planet Fitness billed us during the pandemic. My husband canceled our membership through a phone call between March-April 2020, and a PF employee told him to cancel payment through the bank. It was what we did, because we were told it automatically would cancel our membership.

We went back to Planet Fitness last week and found out we have outstanding balance of $70+ each (husband, wife, son). The manager told us that we had to pay each outstanding balance before we could rejoin.

Why do we have to pay if the employee did not put a note when we called during a pandemic? That's a classic bait-and-wait and blame the customer. We did nothing wrong. We did everything right. Why do we get charged a membership fee for a gym that was closed for couple of months?

We talked with the Planet Fitness manager, who did not handle the situation nicely. She came up with no solution. She was mean to us and said we were done and she had to go back to work. Why cut short our conversation without solving the problem?

We went to Belleville branch, too, and the employee pretended to be the manager when we were asking for one. This is a hassle in our part because we have to go back and forth to the branch.

It is not our fault if the employee did not put a note to cancel our membership. During pandemic is it not safe to go to the gym. If PF opened again last September how come they did not send an email or text to let us know that they had billed us?

It is very disappointing to pay something that we did not use and without informing us that we owe Planet Fitness. It is its system's fault when nobody put a note to not charge us.

As customers, we deserve to be treated fairly.

Planet Fitness Cell phone use

I have been a member of Planet Fitness, Conyers, Georgia, for several years. And while I enjoy going to the gym, I do not enjoy waiting for people to get off their cell phones so I can use the equipment. To say the least it is rude and very annoying. I am asking for there to be a standard policy to be posted at all locations, NO CELL PHONE USE WHILE USING THE EQUIPMENT.
