Openview decoder
Purchased my decoder on the 26th of October 2019 in pep bloed street mall. The decoder only worked for are month then stopped working, I returned the product after having contacted the relevant department (openview hd). I misplaced my proof of purchase and both pep and the owner company can't help, pep claims not to have store copies of any purchases
Rude abusive behaviour by staff

I went to PEP Karaglen to exchange a pair of school shoes where the souls had completely detached from the shoe.
When I showed the shoes to the teller - Yonela - she called the manager - Maria - who then proceeds to start shouting at me, telling me that I bought them in November and she won't exchange them.
I then pointed out that the shoes have a 6 month guarantee.
The manager - Maria - then says well she is not prepared to exchange the shoes and she is going to call her regional manager (fair enough). She storms into the office and quickly reappears telling me to get out of the way so people can work. A few minutes later she reappears shouting how she is going to take photos to send to her regional manager, proceeds to take the photos and disappears again.
About 30minutes later she storms out of the office again saying to the teller - Yonela - "give her her money back", never addressing me directly. I am still waiting at this stage and a minute or 2 later she shouts at me from the door to get back in the queue.
After queuing again waiting for the teller that was helping me I get to the front and the teller doesn't want to help me, she wants me to go to the other teller on duty, I stood my ground and she was forced to assist.
Neither one of them say a word to me, both of them have a really bad attitude and I don't even get given the choice to take a new pair of shoes. It was a case of take your money back and get out.
The teller then starts typing on the computer asking me questions, not in english, I might add. When I gave my details the manager is shouting about my address in her language from the office. I took this as threatening.
The treatment I received was disrespectful. The manager throwing a tantrum because she had to honour the guarantee was disgusting.
What has happened to customer service?
I am a regular customer of PEP and this treatment is very disappointing.
Paxi courier service
I would like to lodge a complaint against Pep in Welkom Goldfields Mall. Cashier: Shwaney Senakgomo I visited Pep, 26 February 2020, to send a document to a business in Bloemfontein using the Paxi service. I had a letter with me, showing the address of delivery. I bought 2 cellphones for my kids in December 2019. I had to bring back another one after 7 days for repairs in January 2020 and I was phoned on the 3rd of February from the Pep shop in Hemingway's mall that I must come and collect the phone. Today is the 13 of February 2020 almost an hour here at the shop they can't find my phone.
I don't know what to do now, just came to east London for this phone from king William's Town.

Hi my name is Thembelihle a very upset and disappointed customer with the service I received from Pep in Bridge City kwamashu on the 11.02.2020.Im a regular customer at, Pep who is always happy to shop in any Pel stores. 31 jan 2020 I bought shoes from pep izingolweni which were not suitable whe. I got home and I already lost the slip during my shopping . Then I went n to Pep Bridge City for a exchange then the cashier asked for a slip I told the cashier no I don't have if it possible can they request from izingolweni I've got transaction details He said no I call a manager which is perfectly fine.
When she got to to me no greeting with an angry grumpy face, I had to greet her and explain she pulled out a till slip from a till and showed me cumpany refund and rules which I understand and respect.
she said she can't help and I then asked it possible to get ths sleep Via email, she toltme no they don't have email access I must get a sleep from home at Harding.
Firstly the store manager does not have a name badge you don't even know whow to address her.
I was like hang on sister I can't go to Harding for a pair of shoes and I. Not keeping the shoes that Im not gonna be using, tlld her to speak to her area manager ahich she said she's not available and Im asking myself such a big cumpany no one available to assist a customer no ways. The lady kept on arguing with me and my sister in law. I've never seen such terrible service worst from so called a manager. How is ah manging her staff if she can't manage herself like that.
She knows nothing about customer service that lady I was actually shocked I still can't believe she actually did that to a customer.

I went to pep yesterday to just buy 2 things there where 4 people infront of me i was standing in line for 30 MIN ! the lady was talking to everyone and just working slow . TOday i went back because the dress i bought was to small . I thought it would fit me while pregnant and after i gave birth . The lady at the till asked me what made me think i can fit into a 32 se can see in my face that even before i was pregnant i wouldnt have fitted in the dress . It hurt my feelings . and i will not be going back there again was inline for 20 min today
ovhd pvr
On the shelve the OVHD is advertised as R448. I asked one of the workers about availability and price and she said R448. I took one and at the till it was R499. They did not want to sell it at the advertised or shelve price. I informed the manager about CPA, and it was also a struggle to get the refund of the swipe. The female manager does not seem to be very helpful.

I bought a cell phone at pep cell Tembisa store on the 27 July 2019. By the end of November I realised that it was no longer charging. I took it back to the store and I was told to collect it after 6 weeks. However they called me and requested me to pay R1200 saying it was a physical damage of which they did not explain to me in the first place. I then requested the to give it back not repaired. Now they want me to pay R200 before they give it back not fixed.

I was exchanging curtain hooks, the overrider, Xolani told me they don't exchange this items even when they are not opened, because apparently they are like under wear. The cashier Rose Khazimula with name tag Khanyi, was even acting as if its her first time to do an exchange, and I know her from that store for more than 5 years. I didn't receive a slip because it was my second time exchanging.
So it was my fault that the cashier at ellof street has put all the other items in 1 slip when I was exchanging just 2 items. (I was treated well at pep home ellof).
I was so disappointed and left the items I wanted to buy because I felt that I was exploding and didn't want to cause a scene.
Stylo cobalt phone
I bought a stylo phone in august and on September the phone just shut down without any fault on my part. I then returned the phone to the store and i was told to wait a month and two weeks for repairs of which i did. After i went to collect the phone, a new phone was given to me saying that the phone was faulty to begin with. On the 6th of December the "new" phone awarded to me on November just shut down again without any fault on part. I then went on the store on the 7th of December but was told to come back on the 9th of December of which i did but the store refused to help me by giving me a new phone stating that the person who consulted with me on the 7th of December is the one who must assist (the lady was absent from work) they told me to come back the following day after i have spent money coming back twice without assistance

I was sending a percel to Limpopo, and it is my first time to use their facility. I find the cashier called Sibongile at PEP CELL next to Pick n pay Boulders mall in midrand. Sibongile is very rude and she was not assisting wi passion. She was behaving as if PAXI is not part of PEP and when I tell her that its my first time using this her respond was very rude and infront of other customers. She even turn and go to assist other castomers and leave me by the till alone and she didnt give me the till slip she kept it to her self. Is this how PEP employees treat customers?.
Unethical behaviour
On the 26 october 2019 I bought a backpack for my son at pep stores in maitland. He came home from school on monday 4 november the one sling was broken. I searched in my wallet if I cant find the receipt but I did not find it. I then on tuesday 5 november called the pep store in maitland asked to speak to the mananger on duty I explained to the manager what happened he said he needs to speak to his boss and give me a call the same day on which I gave him my cell phone number. On wednesday the 6 november I called the shop again asked for the manager on duty on which I was told you can speak to me on asking the person on the other side said hold on ill get the manager for you. He came I asked him that im still waiting on him to get back to me with a answer he then asked me do you have a slip I then said I explained it to you yesterday which means you did not take note of anything I said.
