Party City valentine's day merchandise order [protected]

When the package arrived at my home I immediately attached a "refused. return to sender" label with the return address attached sent to my Email and taped to package. The box was very large. I purchased very large items for The holiday. The amount was $17.57. Every bit worth it. Size is
36x24x8. Then handed it to the mailman. I also called the party city customer service number several times. More than 12 over the course of 12 days. I also answered and submitted the directions on the web page with all the information noted in the complaint. There is no one To talk to. That was January 14, 2019. Please respond. Thank you.

Party City balloons for a retirement party

Hello,

My name is Evelin Candelario ([protected]@njcu.edu) and I work for New Jersey City University and On Monday October 30, I went to party city in 440 in jersey city with my boss and we hand picked beautiful pearl white, pearl purple, pearlized lavender balloons. We ordered 48 balloons for $62.00. On November 2, the day of the event I sent two staff members to pick up the balloons that we hand picked because we were setting up and very busy and they were told that our balloons were given to someone else. Then they had to make 48 balloons on the spot and the balloons we received first were not pearl and most were not blown up collectly. It was a fast job and very unacceptable. When I saw them, I was trying to run back out to party city with the balloons but the food and everything else arrived. I was so busy so the staff who picked them up called to complain for me but she only mentioned that the white ones were not pearl but it was all the colors. We only received 5 white pearl balloons which were probably left over from our original order. So I went in person after work and spoke to Omar the manager and he spoke to Mel the district manager over the phone who was hidding in the back somewhere and said to Omar over the phone that he only approved the white ones when they called. I told Omar there was a miss communication and I would like to clearify it with Mel since I'm here in person and I was the person that ordered the balloons and I brought a sample of the actual balloons so you can see the balloons that I received. Then after a while of telling Omar I want to speak to Mel the district manager he popped up out of no where and I explained to him that I have brought the balloons with me so he can see for himself what I received. He said I made the pearl balloons myself. And I said yes Mel and those beautiful balloons you made were given to someone else and I received these and I didn't order these and I was not able to return so he looked like he understood my pain but then he said well you must have gotten some pearl balloons so I'm going to meet you half way and refund half. I only received 5 pearl white balloons that were probably left over from our original order all others were doll colors and low quality balloons and very unacceptable. Party city messed up big time by giving our balloons to someone else and by being very disorganized and then they gave us the wrong ones and it's our fault. I'm not satisfied with meeting me half way. The balloons were supposed to be the highlight of the retirement party and instead I got balloons that looked like Barney. Im not happy with the outcome and I work for a university and it would be more of a loss for party city to lose our university as costumers than just having good customer service and doing the right thing by at least meeting me all the way with full refund instead of half way. I don't like to argue so I just left unsatisfied with the outcome but I'm the type that I will take this to the top if i have to.

Hope you understand my concern and I'm writing this because I dont want anyone else to go through this. Party city needs to be more careful and own up to their mistakes. It's not acceptable! Please, who ever is in charge of party city and the district manger in 440 jersey city have them check the balloons before giving them out to any random person getting same color balloons. Talk to Mel tell him if someone doesn't get what they ask for don't make them pay for something they didn't order. It's not right. I went in there with prof and it still wasn't enough for Mel. I didn't even get an apology for their error.

Party City a stolen phone at a party city store.

On October 30, 2018 I was last minute Halloween shopping, I tried on a costume at the fitting room and left my purse in there went around the corner the cane back with other people inside the fitting room I knocked and said that I had left my purse inside and they gave my purse with my phone missing, as I proceeded to report the stolen item to muhtie employees nothing was done all they did was say they would notify their employees just Incase the saw it but never asked what phone it was my name my phone number, they didn't ask what had happened didn't even ask the people inside or question them since it might be a little obvious they were the next people in after me, I believe in such circumstances a robbery should be taken more seriously atleast an employee come with me to check around the premises ask the people and question them if they saw anyone, instead they did nothing and I myself had to offer my information before leaving to which they could contact me, I believe party city should or does have a protocol to follow with such situations as I'm considering putting a police report for this incident.

Party City pending charges

I attempted to place a order on party city online website 10/24. I tried once and received a error message saying it can"t be processed not thinking I tried a second time and got the same message. I called and on the recording they stated a hold is placed on your account once you his submit even if it don't go through and the funds would be released within two days. The first charged was released the next day however the second charge is still pending a week later. I called them the say the needed a fax number to the bank to process the second charge. I called my bank they said they don't have a fax number to use it would have to be electronically like the first one. I called party city back again and they still say they need a fax number which my bank didn't have one to provide. Everyone is pretty much saying wait wait wait nothing they can do and if its not cleared in 3 more days the called back with a fax number ( which they don't have) . This is not a great idea and and not fair! It should be a better option of doing things or party city side. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING OFFLINE YOU JUST MIGHT BE IN MY SITUATION.

Party City wig/costume

I purchased a wig/costume for a Halloween party at a nearby PartyCity (Kenner, LA) a little over a week ago. When I purchased it, I asked if I could return it and they told me I could as long as I had the receipt. I ended up not needing it since I found a better one at spirit because the PartyCity wig did not fit well. The associates and the MOD Rhonda, seemed unconcerned about my dilemma. I was brushed off and told there was nothing they could do but an exchange, even though the receipt states otherwise. I was pretty upset at this point but it's frustrating when you do everything right and still get deceived. I read online after I left that I needed to return it by October 24th. I don't have a problem with that but it should be stated to all customers, especially when I asked. I told this all to Rhonda and the associates and she just said it's corporate policy. I really like PartyCity but I know longer want to shop here after this unpleasant experience. The manager on duty lacked empathy and common courtesy. I seriously hope this isn't the store Manager. She lacks basic social skills and gives poor customer service.

Party City seasonal return policy

I bought 2 costumes for $100 on October 24th 2018. I was not informed that if I took them home that day I would not be able to return them one day later, unworn, in original packaging. This is poor business and just wrong. If I had been told in the store that I would not be able to take them home, try them on, and return them when they did not even fit I would have never purchased them. I understand seasonal return policies but if you are not going to provide a fitting room to try them on in store then there needs to be some kind of grace. I have now spent $100 on costumes that will go in the trash.

just let you know that the return policy is on the oct 24 and i has it in the recepit that u purchase it please u can alwasy exchange the items

Party City other

I placed an online order to have balloon kit ready for pick on Saturday, October 27, 2018. I received a called from the store to say that the balloon kit was out of stock. I proceeded to order a different kit but was told they are currently out of helium and don't know when they would be receiving any. I placed the order on Thursday for Saturday. Then I was referred to another location. Stop by the location on the way home and they seem to have plenty of helium.

Party City refund to my visa card

I ordered 2 Halloween costumes on Sept 28th and they said they would be delivered by Oct 5th I was out of town and returned on the 11th and I still hadn't received them. I was not able to track the package it had no updates on the status of where it was at. I called Party City and they said my package must have been lost in the mail and I had to order the costumes again and they would provide me a refund for the lost order and pay for my rush shipping on the new order. However it has been 2 weeks now and my money has not been put back in my account. I have been on the phone with them 5 times now and they either just put me on hold for 30 mins or the line gets disconnected. I'm so pissed off I just want my money back!

Party City female halloween costume

I purchased & now returned an adult witch costume for myself. I requested a large & once the costume was handed to me I asked the employee if the costumes ran true to size & she said yes. Once I got home to try on the costume, I realized that this "large" was in fact not. I looked closer on the package & it stayed Adult Standard which also included that the standards for UP to a size 8. I was deeply disappointed when I realized this. To say that a size 8 is the "standard" size for a woman or every woman rather is a ridiculous misunderstanding; especially women who have had children such as myself. I could barley get the dress over my chest! I know now to avoid Party City completely when looking for a costume for my ADULT body. This was a true let down for me.

Party City foil balloons

Today, I went to purchase some NFL balloons that were marked as $2.99 . Upon reaching the checkout counter, it rang up as $16.99. I told the cashier on duty, named Angel that there were a bunch more under the same price tag. We walked over to the location of the merchandise so she can see. When we got there, she insisted that someone misplaced it and I was told to verify the barcode next time so I dont come up with the wrong price. I did not appreciate the rudeness and her manner of speaking when we were verifying the price.

She discussed the situation to the manager on duty and neither one apologized for the inconvenience and just left me there hanging. I am writing this so it can be addressed and never happen again. Thank you!

Party City refund problem

I had bought a mask online from stranger things. I was told I could return it ot the store. I did, but the refund has yet to appear on my card. It's been two days. It's very upsEttinger bc I wanted an exchange, now I'm out 51 dollars bc of incompetence, and no halloween mask. I wasted 20 in gas only to head home empty handed and moneyless bc the csshier couldnt hear me. When can I get my refunded 51 dollars back? I'm checkin my bank over and over but I got zilch!

Party City balloons

I sent a friend to the Pasadena Tx store to purchase balloons for a baby shower I was hosting. I researched online for the balloons I wanted. The salesperson she had did not know what a Mylar balloon was. I saw confetti balloons online and when she ordered them she was told to buy confetti to put in the latex balloons that they don't have confetti balloons, well they are on the website. Then when she arrived at the shower the "Mylar " balloons she bought that no one knew was a Mylar lost its air. I am disappointed in this store. I will get my balloons elsewhere.

Party City customer service

My family and I went to party city this morning to look at costumes for my kids and to look for accessories to go with them. We were there an hour and no one helped up. There was no one to be found. I love party city I know how busy it can be. But they weren't busy and I was upset with the customer service the employees didn't have. So me and my family left to go somewhere else to get costumes.

Party City employees

I was shopping at the party city in Hickory NC today. The service I received from the employees and the manager was downright disrespectful. The young lady working the register was doing a great job. You could tell she was new and really didn't understand how to do a few things she asked for help a few times but all the employees just were standing there laughing and joking about her. Once no one came to assist her, I walked over to them and she could use a hand they just rolled their eyes and said okay. I'm sorry but I'm not the only customer that see and witnessed this. The stuff on the floor was not much help to any of the customers, they would ask where things were and the employees would just point and walk away.

You're new hires deserve to have help when they need it. Also so do your customers, thanks to the floor staff and the management I will not be returning to the location will be taking my business to sprite unless Y'all can resolve these issues.

Party City balloon arch kit

Hello. I recently purchased the balloon arch kit for my stepson's 10th birthday party and I must say how completely disappointed I am in the product. Upon opening the box I noticed that there was a crack in one of the poles which lead to the base breaking off and the bag of water falling and popping (that may have been my fault for still using it but still disappointing.) when trying to assemble the poles together to make the arch, none of the screws would actually fit into the holes. I had to get a power drill to re drill every single hole just so I could put it together. Since my sons birthday was that day and I didn't have time to return and him being so excited about the balloon arch, I had to do whatever I could to make it work. For the amount of money that I spent on the item, it shouldn't have taken that much work just to put it together. What should have been an hour long process according to the box, took almost two hours and I'm extremely frustrated. I will never buy this product again from Party City.

Party City rude employee

Sunday morning of September 23rd, 2018 I went into party city to get balloons filled for my baby shower. The employee just cut me off before I could finish my sentence. Her exact response was "hold on hold on hold on. We are out of helium. There's a sign on the door that people don't read but that's ok". I have worked with customers before and it shouldn't matter how many times the employee has to repeat an answer, to interrupt a customer like she did was wrong.

Party City unable to try on top and bottom of costume

I sent you your store in San Antonio, TX, SW Military. I had the worst experience. I have bought my daughters costumes there for many years, since she was a litle, I don't understand how party city has a policy that you can only try one piece of the costume at a time . The costume is sold separately, shirt and skirt. How are your customers able to make a decision if they want the costume or not if they are not able to see the whole complete costume? The manager said it was policy and I can understand if it's two completely different costumes, but this one was one but sold separately. Also, I see that it's to keep track of costumes to make sure people are not stealing them but the store was slow and there were several employees behind the counter doing absolutely nothing. I told them they can all stand outside the door to watch her and make sure she comes out with both the top and bottom.

This makes no sense and you will continue to lose business for such a policy. I think as a manager, common sense would tell her it was one costume but just sold separately. This is a ridiculous policy.

Party City manager

The manager at this location is so rude. He needs to be fired and replaced immediately. How can you have someone like this representing your brand? And allow him to talk to customers in such a manner? It is disgusting. Right after he was done yelling at his cashiers, he made them all get off of the registers and disregarded the entire line. He left one cashier on, and when I tried to speak to him, he began to be nasty to me. There were witnesses and the others in the line agreed that his behavior was disgusting.

Party City party city euless robbed me in front of customer and employees...

Party City Euless makes the worse shopping experience for me. I pickup 2 balloons yesterday 2:40pm and it leaked before I left the story, so one girl said she will give another one but then she said that what I had was the last one, and she said it was the AC indoors, if I walk out of the door, it will be Ok.
But the air was gone over night, so I took it back today at 12:30pm, I said if you don't have any more, I would like to return them.
A woman name Dimita yelled at me, no return after 24 hours, I showed her my receipt it was not after 24 hours, she yelled again, no returns for balloons. I asked her, where do I see NO RETURNS FOR BALLOONS? she yelled: you don't need to see, I am telling you now...
Then she grab my 2 balloons and tell me you can go and take care yourself. There were 2 other girls just watching.

Party City managers attitude and poor customer service skills

This morning I went to go re-purchase some balloons I bought the day before for my sons first birthday photo shoot that deflated . It's onlu four balloons so I thought I could pop in quick and get it done before the shoot. The cashier Matthew was very helpful and told me he could help me out with the long wait since it was only four balloons. He calls the manager Daniela who was filling them up to help me out and she gives me this horrible attitude about a line and having to wait, I explained the situation and she brushed me off with an attitude . I then politely ask for refund and she leaves me mid sentce to go to something else and waves at me to go back to Matthew who was helping me out. I found this so rude and I will no longer be going to party city for my party needs . This was in the London square store in Miami, FL 33187
