Panera Bread review: terrible experience ( 229 comments)

At the Highland Park Panera in St. Paul, MN the Everything Bagels now have less poppy seeds and are much more enjoyable to chew and their flavor is much better! This isn't a complaint, but a positive happy customer wanting the store to know I have enjoyed the Everything Bagels a lot more these past few weeks!

My debit card was charged twice for my meal and now I'm out $30 extra dollars.

I wanted to get a tuna sandwich and was told that you all changed it and the lady told me what was on it. I would of gotten the sandwich, but she said the lettuce on all the sandwiches and salads have arugula and they don't do lettuce anymore. I told her I guess I won't be buying sandwiches or salads anymore. I'm very sad ?

I ordered a turkey chili soup, and when I got home, I have a Mac and cheese with my salad. I hate mac and cheese and I am very upset. This is not what I paid for. This is complete laziness from the staff. I have pictures of my order and my receipt.

We found a hair in our Mac and cheese and also our sandwich barely had any meat in it. We have pictures to prove it. Thank you

I went to Panera in Aurora Colorado I ordered a small macaroni and cheese one cookie and a small drink and I paid almost $10 does anybody see a problem with this? I was lucky the chips came with it.

If I ordered an entree and wanted an apple as my side, would I be able to get a different apple if my apple wasn't sweet enough or would I be able to get a refund. Manager tried to tell me I would have to pay for another one. Even if it was sweet or not. I find that very rude.

I ordered 50 dollars worth of food for my office. I ordered extra salad dressing and I got two half cups that don't come close to a full one. How can you charge someone for this. Last night I went to the Panera bread in Council Bluffs IA and had to wait 45 min to get a bagel and a bowl of soup. They were out of French bagettes and my soup was cold after 45 min waiting. Also an employee walked out when I was in there. I did not keep my receipt but I was in there about 6:15 last night.

Today September 27th around 8pm; I watched flies land on most of the pastries out for sale on display, mentioned this to the cashier, she quickly apologized but did nothi ng with the pastries. Not very sanitary, I held Panera Bread to a higher standard.

I had specifically asked for no Cilantro and they added it anyway. I picked it out of my salad before I even ate it. Not happy about what I found at all.

You are advertising delivery but won't drive 3.2 miles. The s is bad customer service and a lie. My company caters with you and I think I will stop that. Thanks for noth By and I'm sure you don't care.

My sandwich had barely any chicken salad in it. It was a very tiny scoop in the middle of the bread not even distributed throughout. Basically one bites worth of chicken salad. And there wasn't even that much chicken just a ton of almonds. Very disappointed and a total waste of my money.

I ordered a full order and had ordered some Mac n cheese for my daughter and never received it. When I called three times couldn't get in touch with a manager. All I wanted is the Mac n cheese that's all so I reordered it and got no kind of gratitude for having to pay for another one because a manager wasn't available.

They have a Plant Based Menu that has items that contain cheese. Cheese does not come from a plant. False advertising.

This product is listed as non-dairy but has both Greek yogurt and honey in it.

I work at Panera Bread on Hulen in Fort Worth, Texas. The roaches here are getting out of hand and I need someone to do something about it. The manager doesn't want to close the store to do a full extermination. I'm coming to you for help. Please.
I want this issue to be resolved soon, before it gets worse.

I went to the Panera bread in Sanford Florida today for lunch and ordered the you pick two. This is the Italian sub I got today for lunch. Hideous

your customer service is so slow. The employees have no sense of urgency and take their sweet time to make your order. For one order, I need to go to three different places to complete my order - worst customer experience.

I eat Panera frequently & this time it was almost inedible. There was not enough inside my flatbread, it was only filled on 1 half of it & the flatbread itself was so overdone that it was falling apart as I attempted to eat it.

I went to panera for lunch today ( usually my favorite place for lunch ) I ordered a Greek salad I asked for grilled chicken they forgot it and my tomatoes were old and the salad was mixed with basil ? I spend a lot of money here and I'm extemely disappointed. I work very close to here and will no longer be coming here .

I arrived at Panera bread around 7:30am for my morning breakfast and my total came out to $4.23 which I didn't mind at all until I got to work and looked and my breakfast..What a waste of money! There was barley any yougart in the cup at all! I am extremely unhappy and will not be returning anytime soon!

The panera bread cafe 1632 Southfield Mi would not give me my rewards for my purchase. At the time, I didnt have my card but tried to give my phone number and she said she couldnt find anything. I was waiting for a watermelon feta salad at the panera bread in Arden, NC. Upon returning home I discovered he salad was missing it's main ingredient, watermelon.

I went to Panera in Sparta NJ at 930pm and ordered a 1/2 of fuji apple salad to go. When I got home I discovered that the salad was missing the pecans and the apples. I am a customer at Panera. The whole entire pastry section had gnats flying around and there was a wasp stuck in the cherry pasteries. The girl at the front took them in the back and went to speak to the manager. AND I WATCHED HIM BRING THE PASTRIES BACK OUT. I REFUSE TO EAT AT THE PANERA BREAD IN SHREWSBURY AGAIN!

The size of the sandwich was about 1/4 of the size it should have been. Did not get my $ worth

I went to Panera in Alcoa TN this morning and ordered a half Caesar Salad to go. I was not happy when I opened it to eat it as there was only about a cup in total. I took a photo and attached it below. I am very disappointed.

Lettuce was limp.large box, small salad inside, one dressing for this LG salad size. Usually 2.skimp chicken, rubbery croutons. Lousy salad. Normally the best. Had at Arundel mills, Fri it was perfect.crispy, satisfying and yummy. Very displeased today@

I set my pickup time at 7:50, which to me means it should be ready to go at 7:50. It should not mean they start to make my order at 7:52 when I ask where it is. I am highly dissapointed with the customer service.

I was at the Naperville Panera on route 59 and it took 17 minutes to get a fuji apple salad and the store wasn't that busy. This was on Wednesday, 07/26/2017 at 12:23 PM.

i ordered a you pick 2 with a greens summer salad. The box is half filled. I spent 4$ on an eighth of a salad. are they always like this now?

I waited in like for 15 minutes and order the you pick 2, mac n cheese and the cheddar and steak panini. It was all bread, no cheese, and two sense worth of meat. I go to this panera once a week and this is my second poor experience.

I ordered a smoothie and paid $4.88 for it. I received a smoothie and they didn't fill the cup. There was about inch a half of free space. I paid for my order expecting a whole smoothie but was very dissapointed when I received my incomplete order.

Thank you for firing Thelma for her bad service! I honestly didn't mean for that to happen to her, I just wanted someone in higher to speck with her regarding the issues with my daughter that works at this location also. But lesson learn you can't bully your co-workers thanks again management for everything!

I am a good customer and truly love your coffee. I feel they should be checked more often during lunch.

The portions keep getting smaller and smaller. The new bowls do not mask this. Prices continue to increase. And tipping the cashier, tacky. We will Never Return! Too many choices!

i ordered a salad apple fugi and a large mac and cheese i frequent Panera's often never an issue but my salad had tomatoes that were spoiled and if that wasn't bad enough my mac and cheese had a hair in it, i know these things happen but i pay the prices you ask and eat there because i don't want spoiled food

I just got to work and picked up my breakfast and I look at my chai tea because it feels different today and it was barely full halfway. Now I am at work and cannot go back to have them correct their mistake and only have half a tea when I paid full price
