After being an Ooma customer for more than 20 years, I have decided to discontinue their service due to significant declines in performance over the past several years. While I have used the HD3 handset primarily for its two-line capability, I have found the overall quality lacking. Additionally, Ooma's Telo device no longer supports other phone systems like it used to, which has been a persistent issue.
Recently, I have experienced difficulty making outgoing calls, and was informed by technical support that the problem lies with AT&T users who have activated certain features on their phones. The recommended solution was for me to ask my contacts who use AT&T to disable this feature, which is neither practical nor feasible for reaching essential contacts such as healthcare providers.
Given these ongoing challenges, I have chosen to switch to 1VOIP, which offers competitive pricing, operates entirely within the USA, and provides 24-hour technical support. Based on my experience, I would recommend considering alternative providers like 1VOIP, which has also been recognized by PC Magazine. Thank you Ooma, your lack of service and poor explanations will no longer be tolerated.

Recommendation: Use 1VOIP
