Attention: Account Complaint-Urgent Request
Dear Sirs,
My company has been a client of Ooma Corporation for over 2 years now. We have several phones lines, and ported our existing phone number from AT&T to Ooma. This phone number has been our company phone number for over 36 years.
I am reaching out today because I have been on the phone with customer service at Ooma sinch 9:45 am this morning and still have not had the issue resolved. This morning suddenly our phone service was disconnected all phone lines do not work, including our main number [protected]. We did not request this to be done; we have a credit card on file and our bill is not past due. After speaking with several agents at Ooma this still has not been resolved. I was told by Ooma customer support that our account must have been disconnected in error. We did not and never have received any emails or any phone calls that pertain to the disconnect of our phone service from Ooma.
Our Company has been in business for 36 years in the bay area. We are a locally owned Residential Plumbing and Drain Cleaning Business. We have used this phone number for our entire existence. We have 25 techs and 8 customer service agents and generate about $10,000.00 per hour from our main phone line, not to mention the thousands of dollars in advertising that we have spent over the years and are currently running campaigns as of today. So you might be able to understand my frustration of being told “sorry we made a mistake” and “your phone service will be turned on in 2 days”. This is completely unacceptable, much like Ooma, our customers reach out to us when they need service- immediate service, and if we don’t answer they will simply contact the next company. We lose the business and the repeat customers. If this goes on for 2 days, I have no doubt that this will put us out of business. We have provided excellent Residential Sewer and Drain Services at low cost to the Bay Area, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Mountain View in particular for over 3 decades, we have survived Covid 19, and the many economic fluctuations of the Bay Area during this time just to lose our business over “a error with our phone company” doesn’t seem fair or just to me. We have provided over Seven Hundred Thousand Services as of today’s date, and I am positive if you live or work in our service area you have used our services and heard of our services at some point, so can only hope that someone in your corporate office can help us navigate through this problem, before it cannot be reversed. I am hoping that someone in corporate will reach out to me, since I have contacted your corporate office directly and spoke with Anna notice # [protected] who told me that there is no contact info for anyone at corporation, no way to contact anyone there. We have spent six hours on the phone with Ooma Customer Support and generated notice #[protected]. During this time, they created an entirely new account for us and attempted to connect our phones from the previous account. This was unsuccessful, presumably because the previous account had been disconnected. again, not by our request by a “glitch on Ooma’s end”.
