On Dec. 4, 2020, approximately 2:23pm, I went to NFCU to withdraw funds out of my account, at the location (6225 Brandon Ave Suite 140 Springfield Va 22150), I stood outside in line to enter the bank, which was understandable due to COVID, I approach the main entrance at the bank, Asian lady employee didn't allow me and my husband in together, we are African Americans, my veteran husband was ask to wait outside, Caucasian couple, they were allowed to enter the bank together, different rules for different cultures, as my husband witness this and many others in line, the same rules doesn't apply, the assistant manager (Matt George) should've made the employee apologize to us, I guess they treat their African American customers this way, because of this it makes me look at NFCU different and I'm considering closing my accounts. I will never go back to that branch again. Definitely a racist case. I didn't immediately report, due to the passing of my mother. This branch, needs mentoring. Very disappointing and unacceptable.
