I’m 67 and have had the same wire frames for 3 years. This time I chose a Michael Kors plastic frame with a new lens. Even with a new prescription the guy didn’t listen to me. I don’t think he knew what he was doing. I have transitional lenses the first third of the lens is for longer distances. Middle third for like upfront distance and lower third for reading. I’ve also been on carnivore and think my vision improved. The new lenses are up too high. In order to see long distance I’m looking through the top trim of the glasses. So that means to drive I’m tilting my head down to see the top of the lenses. This is not normal. Looking straight on is also blurry. I can’t read anything unless it’s up close. I’ve been back once to complain and realized the manager added dots to my lens. I saw only one set of dots, telling me they aren’t transitional lenses. Wow. No insurance cost 1K. Very upsetting.
