Mspy & Scannero
I purchased the Mspy Ultimate 12 month subscription on 20 Oct 2023 ( 6 days back).
The information given by the customer care was not consistent. I have listed the line of events below
1) I was informed by the customer service on 20 oct 23 after i told him clearly that the target device and most of the Apps are Biometric and password protected. And he said we can still install the Mspy app by sending an sms to the target mobile number and even after i asked that the sms has to be clicked he informed that if we send the msg its more than enough. After his confirmation i purchased the Ultimate plan for 12 months with the link they sent me.
2) Once i got the plan i contacted customer care for assistance. I spoke to Paul and he guided me to Scannero.io and i sent a msg to the target device. Later anothe customer service agent says the link in the sms has to be clicked. And Scannero is only location service. Which I did not subscribe for.
3) Then I came to know from the customer service agent that we need the physical target device ( which I clearly stated its not accessible for me since the Phone and most of the Apps are BIOMETRIC AND PASSWORD PROTECTED) multiple times
4) And the customer service agent informed that the target device needs to be unlocked for 5 to 10 mins to install the app remotely.
5) After so much of struggle i managed to get the target device and unlocked and contacted the customer care.
6) The technical person assisted me to try to install the app. Just to highlight needed USB to connect to my laptop, then some app was needed which i was totally not informed before. And when he tried to install it asked for password which i was unaware. Its not possible to install the app in the target device.
Just a suggestion: only people in desperate need look for your help. Please give correct information when asked. I was not give correct information from the start.
Since its been only 7 days I purchased the product. Please help to proceed with the full refund at the earliest.

I have tried to use the trial, but they charged me 3 months, and also they charged that extra support service center, which nobody is even answering (phone or email).
I cannot install the app.

I wanted to track my child’s phone. I watched all the videos and ads that says you just need to download the software and mspy with start tracking immediately, you just need physical access to the phone it doesn’t needs to root or jailbreak.
I wanted a trail but they lured me into getting a subscription for 3 months. I downloaded the app according to the instructions in the target phone. It didn’t track anything. I waited for 24 hours and refreshed everything and followed all the instructions. It didn’t work. It didn’t show any location, calls, texts, photos, videos or social media. The same day I asked for refund. At first they refused and said root the phone. When I refused to do that, sharing with them the information they give before downloading the app it didn’t say you need to root. Anyhow l, I emailed again asking for refund and they said you agreed to our terms and conditions we are not refunding you. Freeze your account or take 25% of the total payment.
It’s like blackmailing. They should refund my amount.

Mspy. Terrible service. Does not work
I have had the app for less than a month and have had multiple issues with the service not working. Each time I reached out to technical support and was told I just need to uninstall and reinstall on the target device. Nothing was ever actually done to resolve whatever issues kept reoccurring as the same issue would happen over and over again. I finally requested a refund and was told no because I hadn't accepted technical support, which is wholly inaccurately.

I bought mSpy almost a week ago. When I logged into my account I realised that you cannot connect an iphone and an android phone. They didn't wrote anything about it, no warning. I requested a refund, the answer was that now I can write to some another person (that would cost money) now for free! Nice, but I just said that we can't solve the issue. The two phone isn't compatible. I wrote an email, described my problem in details. Asked for my money, answer: I can freeze my account till I can start to use it. I wrote another email, even longer, and I was really pushy and angry and told them that they should write this info (the iphone-android one) on their website, and that it's their mistake. Also, that I just want my money back, that's the only way to solve the problem. I won't buy an iphone just for this [censored]. I sent the email a few hours ago, as I read the other reviews I wouldn't be surprised if they wouldn't write anything back or just this [censored] account freezing or calling them. I bought mSpy, and when I logged in realised that I can't connect to the other device, because I have an android and the other phone is an iphone. They are not compatible, they didn't say it anywhere. I filed for refund, emailed them several times. Stupid answers everytime, like freeze my account and unfreeze it when I can use it. I obviously won't buy another phone for this. They wanted me to call them or text someone which as I saw it on their website also costs money. After I wrote another email in a more frustrated tone (because it costed a lot of money and they didn't help) they told me they sorry but in my case they can't refund. I looked at their refund policy, and I don't even know when do they give a refund, in that list there were only the situations when they don't give your money back. That list was long. My situation (android-iphone incompatibilty) is nowhere to be noted tho. I saw it somewhere that you can contact your bank in this case if a company lies to you etc. However probably I won't since I don't have a child and I wanted to use it on my boyfriend phone without his permission and that could get me in trouble.

Does not work, refuse to refund
Refuse to refund me the yearly subscription I paid even though it's been over 2 months and I have had sessions with their tech support multiple times and even with the "advanced" tech support and nothing is being monitored. The app does not work for my son's iPhone. Customer service told me I had to go through these levels of support and I have done that yet still refuse a refund for a defective product.

mspy software
Terrible, frustrating experience. Do NOT purchase from them. The software was hard to use. It did not have all the functionalities it claimed it had. Also, the customer service and support are VERY SLOW and NONRESPONSIVE. I tried chatting with the company but got kicked off multiple times with no response from the agent. I tried calling the listed company phone number, but they were not accepting calls. I emailed them, so I will see how long it takes to get a response. Trying to requesting a refund from them has been time-consuming and difficult.

days after I have requested a refund over 10 times, no refunds have been given. They completely ignored my submitted requests. Instead, they change the subject and ask for feedback on their software, which I already told them multiple times it is terrible, not user friendly, and not as advertised.

MSpy continues to give me the run around after I have requested a full refund over 20 times via emails. I paid $53.99. Their partial refund they gave back was $1.00. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I am still waiting for my refund of $52.99. I will be reporting their company to the appropriate government fraud departments and submit a complaint that they are scamming consumers and refusing to refund fully as requested.

Price advertised
I signed up for a 3 month subscription that was advertised at $24.99. This subscription did not specify i needed access to the phone in question to being monitored. I was then charged $83.99 not $24.99. I then was charged an additional $56.98 to even be able to log into my account where I was then notified that I needed physical access to the phone in question of being monitored.
I have reached out multiple times to get a refund, I am not satisfied with my experience and would like a FULL refund of both fees.

I want a refund
I purchased mspy with the understanding that having physical access to the device being monitored was not necessary.
Once I was assured that this was the case as I do not have access to this device, I have mspy my credit card numbers and purchases their product.
I immediately went to work on downloading and configuring their software.
after about 10 minutes I became confused because the only way to monitor a phone without physical access is if the phone or device being monitored was an i-phone. since the phone I need to monitor is an android this solution would not work for me.
I was told and sold on this software with the understanding no physical access needed. As it turned out this is not true, this feature only works on i-phone.
I immediately requested abrefund. nas it had not been more then a half hour from the time I purchased mspy and time I found out you had to have physical access to the phone.
I have now spent the last three weeks calling and chatting with their support and e mailing their billing dept with no response.
This was false advertising and fraudulent. their customer service is by far the worst I have experience. do not buy anything from mspy, it is a scam.

Product not functioning and misleading advertisement!
The problem here is that since paying for mSpy product on 22 September, I have monitored my son mobile, noting that it is currently term break in NZ and is mostly at home playing games on their laptop/ipad. I thought that it will take at least 24hrs for all the messages to show up in my mspy account. But that hasn't happened at all & it's now the 4th day today without any luck getting information from my teenage son mobile. I have paid for 12 months' worth of subscription thinking is the cheapest option and was really excited to try it out. Since paying for subscription, mSpy product/system hasn't worked at all.
*Not an actual app as advertised
*Does not cover: Facebook Messenger, not all instagram messages shows in my account, same with whatsapp, no snapchat, no screenrecorder, no text messaging, no calls (I tested to call my son mobile, and it didn't register in my account),
*Easily detectable on target device.
*Misleading advertising and functionality
*14day money back guarantee (I don't believe mSpy will accept their at fault for their misleading advertising and not functioning system).
*Provided my credit card details for 12 months subscription of NZD$142.64.
*I got charge on the same day for NZD$86.58. I didn't know what the 2nd charge was as no prior notice from mSpy of the 2nd charge. Not happy with how this was handled.
I will raise a dispute with my bank concerning these two deductions.

The alternatives provided are not acceptable. I strongly disagree with one of your refund conditions, such as:"a user is either unable or does not want to jailbreak or root to utilise advanced features". This is what rooting phone means: Rooting is a process of getting access to privileged control over your device’s Android subsystems. It is also called root access. Smartphone users often perform rooting to bypass limitations set by hardware manufacturers or enhance their devices’ technical characteristics.
I do not want mSpy to gain access and control over mine or the user (my son) device. mSpy should be banned for being able to root or jailbreak any mobile phones. This is illegal as they can gain access to our bank account information and other private/confidential data.
I, therefore, do not accept your 'Billing Department' alternative solutions such as: Extend my subscription for another 3 months or Froze my account and reactivate it anytime.
I WOULD LIKE A REFUND ASAP!

I bought MSPY 4 days ago. The device I was going to download is gone and I will never have access to it. I have emailed them 3 times and never can get ahold of them through their phone number. I have called almost 10 times. I paid $83.99. To err y will not give me a refund. I do t know what to do. The last email I received from them was stating that they wouldn’t refund me. Mspy made an appointment to discuss malfunctioning app, and/or return policy, and they did not call. We have been given the run around for three months since I made the regrettable $300 purchase. They refuse to resolve the issue through evasion. They make it impossible to get to someone. They absolutely do what I have described without fail every time. Is this not theft? Mspy has been harassing me for a couple of days when I requested my refund. I paid $69.99 which was for the whole year. I got serious troubles with the app it's not satisfying to me. I have several tickets numbers and this is the latest one. I purchased this program on Sept 15, 2023 after talking with a chat agent. He also gave me misleading information after I was directed to the credit card section to put my information. He used His discount number and I was charged $218.50. After 2-3 different third parties appeared, I turned around and canceled my subscription and asked for a refund.
I have been asking for a refund since Sept 15, 2023 going back and forth. Consumers are always given the opportunity to cancel a subscription or return items to a department store. Even without looking at your policies which I never looked at because the chat agent sent me right over to the credit card registration site to pay for the program.
I have not even used the program or plan to use the program. I just want to have my refund issued and credited back to my credit card.
This is my 7-8 attempt and what this company is doing is not right. You are robbing me of $218.50 and this should be returned at the earliest.
It was even indicated that 25% would be given back to me and I have not touched the program. This company truly is a scam as I have read a lot of emails as I am trying to get my refund back.

Phone monitoring software and service
I purchased the software plan for two phones (my children’s iPhones) it cost close to $200. I set it up through my desktop and phones were supposed to upload via home Wi-Fi. It never worked, I spent hours trying to contact to an agent via chat, made phones calls, sent emails. It took over a week to finally get a hold of someone who offered to install software instead of refund. I allowed this and the software still didn’t work. I tried to contact an agent the very next day, tried calling, sent emails. I spent hours trying to resolve this issue. My sons phone started malfunctioning and the “trust this computer “ kept popping up on his phone. We had to reset his phone to get it to work properly. It took weeks for someone to respond to my email only to tell me no refund. I’m out money but more importantly my time.

I inquired into the product to track a cell phone. I chatted with a rep for a long time and asked many questions, especially about being remote and having to have the phone. He talked me into the ultimate kit and said everything was remote and can be downloaded in seconds. I took the bait and purchased for 256.00. Within minutes I found out I actually had to have physical access to the phone. I do not and will not ever. I canceled within 20 minutes. They refuse to return my money and I am disputing on my card. I have gone back and forth on email with them many time and they do not have a phone number. Please help!

This service doesn't work on my daughter's iPhone 11 Pro Max. I have tried to back up her phone on my laptop and I keep getting a Backup failed error. I have contacted their tech support twice and they just simply said that sometimes it doesn't work on all phones. I have requested a refund and they refuse to give it to me. They say I should freeze my account and try again at a later date. Which doesn't make sense at all. So I suggest you go with another alternative because this one doesn't work and they won't refund your money.

On May 21, 2023, I was charged $83.99, for Mspy, followed by finding I'd need access to target device. Immediately, I canceled. I believed I'd be charged $27.99. As well, the Mspy is useless to me and I'll never be able to activate it. I've never had access to target device and I never will. Immediately upon canceling, a live chat representative, asked if I'd like them to freeze my account, until I was able to get access to target device. I declined, explaining that I've never had accessvin 40 years and I will never have access. Please cancel. Also, I didn't want to pay so much. The representative told me I'd be contacted 5 days regarding my refund. I sent many emails requesting refund. I canceled immediately. I received email from Mspy, June 1, 2023, stating I would not be getting a refund. Apparently, my reason goes against their refund policy. Having no access to target device won't get you a refund. So, I can't use it and I'm not getting my money back. How can this be legal? It isn't humanly possible to have canceled any quicker than I did. According to return policy, there's no reason for a refund. How can they deny me a refund if I can't use it? I canceled seconds after it went through, immediately.
