Motorola Motorola Razr +

Fantastic phone out of the box, was so impressed over the ever so boring Iphone except for the fact the screen broke with no abuse within the first 4 months. Dealing with Motorola Canada the device was sent to a 3rd party repair service where they deemed the screen broke and not covered under repair. YES, the screen is broken due to stress cracks at the hinge and they want $600 to repair an issue they know is a problem on a 4 month old phone. Seems next to impossible to get an upper management contact and was told by a technician at Motorola basically he understands and was sorry but thats their policy. This is a very entertaining phone but how do i promote Motorola given these terms, its wrong and the principle of being taken wont allow me to do so. It would be great to speak with someone in upper management about this issue and find a resolution before sharing this story on every platform possible as its not right.

Claimed loss: potentially $600 repair on a 4 month old Motorola Razr +

Desired outcome: Warranty it as Motorola should a 4 month old issue with this known problem. Perhaps Motorola should not release this folding phone technology if its not near perfected.

Motorola Return/ exchange / they kept my trade-in and didn't give any credit for it or offer replacement phone

Do not buy from Motorola! The company does not care about their customers when things go wrong. They did not even try to help in my following situation. I bought a Razr+. I enjoyed the phone for about a week before it stopped working. I called and the asked customer support and the asked me to return and they would issue a refund. What they DID NOT say is I was out my trade-in of my iPhone 13. I have come to find out they would not return my iPhone, nor would I receive refund/credit for the Iphone13. I lost the value of my trade-in of $240.00. They would not return my iPhone 13 nor refund me the amount of the trade in. After finding this out I asked for replacement Razr+ rather than a refund. Motorola said I could buy it at regular price, that the refund was already in process for the amount charged to my card for the purchase and the trade-in for the iPhone13 was completed and final. So, I'm Out $240.00 for the iPhone 13 and do not have a phone. Wow! Not to mention the 6 phones calls, several hours and multiple transfers to be put on hold and several emails wasting my time. DO NOT expect anything from Motorola's customers service other than the run-around!

Claimed loss: $240.00 and no working phone

Desired outcome: Credit for my trade in or replacement of defective Razr+

Motorola MOTO G72

I have purchased a Moto G72 device on January 2023 and after 2 months it suddenly stopped charging. I bring it to my nearest motorola customer care and they checked it and they asked me to take it back from them after 15 days. when I received that device, they returned the device to me in opened condition (nuts missing, few parts are bent) and the reason they gave me that this device is not working because it got water in it. But they are completley lying because they know it is under warranty and I would have to pay for damages.

Now I have that device with me but it is not working and I again bring it to them , they said that the motherboard not working, it will cost too high comparitivly to the device. So you should buy a new device.

Just because we do not have that technical knowledge , they can fools us with any random reason and we have to pay. But this time I am unable to pay this much amount for the device and I want motorola to fix this issue as soon as possible or return my money.

Motorola Wifi mesh system is not working at all and my $ 300 went into dust and no customer service

Hi motorola guys,

I bought your mh7021 mesh wi-fi system with a motorola modem separately a few months ago and since then its performance has been very poor.

It was never delivering a consistent connection and freezes every 15 to 20 minutes for no reason. I have xfinity 1.2 gig and they came in and reconfirmed the speed at modem output. It is the only motorola mesh system which is glitching, me and my son are both working /studying online and this garbage mesh system makes our work a hell everyday. We changed the router, satellite locations, bought another set of the same model but the problem is persisting.

We tried your phone [protected] a multiple time in last 3 months and you guys never took our call. This is not done at all. I never ever expected this kind of unprofessional service form motorola. Even today I called on this number and waited more than one hour but after one hour robo answered, no customer service is available to me at this moment, are you guys kidding us, after 60 minutes of wait you guys disconnecting calls. Irequest you to please resolve this otherwise I would be moving to communication commission pretty soon. I am fed up with all this device and poor customer service. I bought 2 no of 7021 mesh systems and spent more than 300 dollars trusting motorola. Very disappointed.

Motorola Motorola edge 2021 and motorola customer support

date of purchase: 11/9/2022 (received 11/13/22)

date first contacted Motorola: on or about 11/29/22

Issue: Phone makes an obnoxious screeching sound (could also be described as high-pitched whine or whistle) while on calls when using the handset. This behavior was observed immediately upon setting up and using the phone. The other party can hear the noise and Motorola representatives have heard and acknowledged the noise. At least one suggested it to be a known issue.

I’ve been on upwards of 25 calls with Motorola support, cleared caches and data, changed settings, factory reset (over 6 times and subsequently setup) my phone, sent my brand new phone to Motorola for “repair” (waiting without a phone) – it was returned with the issue not fixed, later waited over five weeks for Motorola to locate and send a replacement unit of the model (which suffers the same flaw and makes the same screeching noise), and (at Motorola request) have contacted and ruled out any issue with my cellular service provider (however improbable that seemed). Several Motorola representatives have said it appears to be a phone hardware issue.

I've spoken to the Motorola's Universal Command Center (apparently their highest level of support) and sent a complaint to "the CEO" at [protected]@motorola.com (only to hear back from the same person at Motorola UCC with the same non solution.

Motorola's latest response is to (for the fifth time) have me speak with "Level 3" technical support, through Level 3 technicians have previously questioned why I was sent to them and told me it is not a software issue and they cannot help. This technician has said it may be a "hardware limitation" of the phone - that it experiences "feedback" (despite that this problem occurs regardless of signal strength, on wifi calling, outside, inside, at night, daytime, city, country, where other phones do not in the same circumstances).

I feel Motorola have at just been just trying to wear me done with non-solutions and a run-around back-and-forth between tech support rather than provide me a properly functioning phone. They tell me, despite I brought this issue to their attention in November 2022 and they yet haven't solved it, that if I am still experiencing it after November 8 2023, that my warranty will have expired and they will not help.

Now again, they have me discussing and describing the issue to a "Level 3" support technician (the same level 3 technician I've spoken to every previous time and who has previously told me it is not a software issue). This technician now suggests, for the first time, that it might be a network signal strength issue, despite that I've says that told them that the issue occurs regardless of signal strength (even when better than -100dBm: a good signal!) and when on Wi-Fi calling (when cellular signal strength is irrelevant). This technician says now that if I want to proceed and have Motorola attempt to diagnose this problem, I must AGAIN factory reset my phone without transferring old data or apps. I've done this a few times with them already and the issue remains. It's like they are trying to put the burden on me in hopes I'll just give up. Why they don't give me a working phone in the meantime or a different model I don't understand. They seem fine with me having purchased and being stuck with a Motorola phone that makes an obnoxious screeching sound when on all calls using the handset! That is apparently a satisfactory customer experience to them.

I simply want Motorola to provide me with a phone that I can use normally without experiencing an alarming, disturbing screech while on calls, to me, a seemingly implied condition when Motorola marketed and distributed the phone.

Motorola Moto g play 2023

Date of Purchase: August 9, 2023. Best Buy, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269

The Best Buy clerk told me that I needed to buy a Sim card. I did. It did not work in the phone.

Damage: August 23, 2023

Internet: Motorola articles stress placing the phone face down when not in use.

Internet: Many consumer articles and videos are devoted to replacing the front glass on Motorola phones. I read the articles on August 23, 24, and 25, 2023.

In the early morning hours of 8/23, I placed the Moto g face down on a glass top table. Two hours later, I returned to that room and the phone was face down on the ceramic tiled floor. I picked it. Placed it beside me while I took a nap. Three hours later, the front glass screen was splashed (looked like a car windshield).

Best Buy refused to replace the phone. The phone was not eligible for a return/replacement. 15 days had passed. 8/9 from 8/23 is 14! And, I should have purchased the $45 warranty.

Motorola refused to believe me but offered a discount on the repair. Last customer service rep stated that a magnetic pull between the two glasses was not possible and could not have caused the mishap. Ergo, I was not telling the truth. I am an 82 woman who is temporarily homebound.

Having been at home since the purchase date, I decided that, on my next outing I would purchase a stylus and a cover for the phone because I carry items from room to room in a basket. My other hand holds my cane. Reference number: [protected] IMEI [protected]

Motorola Moto G Power

Purchase two Moto G Power 2022 phone one in Jul 2022 and the other in August 2022 and expected to get two years of updates. I now understand that updates for the phone run out in November 2023. They did an update to Android 12, which has many problems that all most makes the current phone unusable for me. The I live in a remote area and the Wi-Fi content for the phone does not work in Android 12. I like the phones but customer support sucks, they want me to buy a new phone when I should have got two years of updates.

Motorola Moto g stylus 5g

Yesterday my phone experienced a lockdown, I was unable to use it, I could not get my icons to work, every time I would click on an icon a green box would outline the icon and would not allow it to open, I went to the web site to see if there was a way to fix my problem and it suggested I turn it off which I did on numerous occasion which did no good as it would turn right back on, so I removed the back cover to remove the battery in order to shut it down completely as I was doing so the battery sparked like you lite a roman candle and then caught fire, it melted everything and burnt a hole in my linoleum I was able to remove it to the sink and put water on it to extinguish, the fire, my question to you is, is this normal or did I do something wrong,

Desired outcome: I'm out of a phone, which in my case means a lot, I am on a fixed income I'm 71 yrs. of age, and it is my lifeline now for help if it's needed

Motorola 2021 edge

I purchased a cellphone from them last year. I had to return it within a month. I was warned not to purchase a phone directly from a company. I should purchase it from my provider. I should have listened. Motorola sent a replacement and I have had nothing but problems. I changed settings regularly. — like the ringtones for contacts, my duo app from my job, apps on my desktop (on the phone) etc. y. I had a moto before and other cells, but none of them have caused me as many problems. Battery drains more than often any other phone. I've contacted the support help desk and they tell me to try different settings. Nothing works. I'm done with Moto. I intend to share my experience with the BBB as well.

Desired outcome: Refund for a new phone and different brand/company.

Motorola Motorola One 5G Ace

Ten days ago I stopped receiving my primary emails on my phone. I went to my provider ( T-mobile) spent over one hour and they said to get with my email provider ( comcast ) spent time with them and they said it looked like a problem with the icon on my phone. Called Motorola and a girl named Kim ( I think ) was very willing to help but could not. She got me in touch with level 2 tech support and that guy said he was not allowed to get into my email and said he could not help and left it at that! I never asked for him to go into my email. I told him that up to 10 days ago everything was fine but now for some reason the phone will not recognize/allow my primary account. I have spent all day trying to get answers. PLEASE help. Thank you very much.

Motorola Moto g4 phone

Last night, my phone was charging on my dining room table when it suddenly started sizzling and smoking. Within seconds, the house was full of smoke, and my solid oak dining room table was left with a large burn mark. I would like to have someone contact me to resolve this issue without having to contact an attorney. This could have been a very dangerous situation, and as it is I will have to purchase a new phone and have my dining room table refinished. My email address is [protected]@bellsouth.net.

Show charging in battery icon but not change and at night it's completely sweet Hoff so I give Motorola service center Navsari on 7/10/2022 today 20/10 /2022 I ask for my mobile but not responding and answer me when mobile repair we will call you. Dont call or visit

Motorola Motorola one 5G phone

Photos attached are of the letter I received from Motorola in response to their investigation regarding phone that spontaneously combusted.

The malformations and ‘disturbance’ of housing and display are either a result of the extreme heat while the device was on fire or as it dropped into my metal kitchen sink, twice. I was in my living room when I heard a ‘sizzling’ sound coming from the kitchen. By the time I got to it the entire kitchen was filled with white smoke. I fumbled around for something to grab the phone and came upon tongs – hence the depression and . I had to try a number of times to get a hold of the phone, clenching it and dropping it, then finally squeezing it and dropping it into the sink. By this time I’d breathed in the smoke and was coughing and blinded.

The device came apart when dropped into the sink. Once smoke cleared and pieces cooled, I stacked them together as put them into the box as I corresponded with Motorola.

So, the device was never tampered with. It spontaneously combusted. Any disturbance to the components mentioned are a result of combustion/tongs/dropping it into the sink.

Motorola Razr

RAZR external screen looses functionality easily, & repair is as costly as replacement - only to have another failing external screen.

I dropped the 1st one (twice), a week later the external screen stopped working. I bought another, this time attaching a coiled tether. After a month or so, for some unknown reason, the external screen bled patches & died.

Desired outcome: To have an external screen as durable as the inner screen.

Razr second gen has very brittle case. Motorola replaced it saying one time warranty for being long term customer after I refused to pay 965 for repair. They froze 1065, then returned it when they sent replacement phone. then charged 965.oo. the service workers were nice and tried to help, sent me to management. management was horrible.

I wound up having to file fraud case with credit card company, then and only then did Motorola say the charge was in error. The replacement phone of course is crumbling even though I have a padded case on my belt to carry instead of in my pocket (where it crushed last time).

I call to complain, and the operator says she cannot hear me. I call back again, and call center closed.

How do we get a class action complaint? the phone is fast and works well, but the case is garbage. I thought there were laws.

Motorola Motorola 7500 Modem Wifi

Yesterday My modem's 5G stopped working. Today being Monday called motorola to fix the problem. No access by phone. Modem does not have 5G access available on modem. Just stopped working. Spent 4 hours contacting them and put on hold. They have hung up the phone on each and every call.

They photos below shows me waiting on the phone and did not get any response.

Desired outcome: Take care of this modem that they sold me and had stopped working

Motorola Motrola Edge 30

I ordered Motrola edge 30 from Flipkart and it got delivered on 31-04-2022. It was working fine, but after 4 days power button got jammed and not able lock and unlock my phone. I contacted Flipkart but I am not satisfied with their response. They were keep rescheduling meetings over and over.

Motorola Moto G Power

I purchased a Moto G Power in Nov 2021. In March 2022 it stopped receiving texts from anyone outside of my contacts. I contacted by service provider first and then contacted Motorola support. After running through a few things, I was told to send my phone in for repair. A few days later, I got an email that they had found water damage and the warranty was voided. They sent a picture showing a small amount of green corrosion on the external portion of the charging port. There was nothing on the inside of the phone. Well, it is an open port and there is this thing called humidity. I wasn't having any trouble charging, and there is plenty of info in the web about how to polish the charging port to remove common corrosion if you do. Also, the charging port had nothing to do with the problem I reported and for which the phone was being serviced. Motorola never even started on that issue. Maybe they never intended to. I tried to reason with them, but it was no use. The EXTERNAL portions of the phone are going to come in contact with humidity and rain. How can they use this as a reason to void the warranty when they do not provide a waterproof port over the charging

Motorola Cell phone

Sent my cell phone to motorola to get repaired. It had been hacked. They sent back a video. Said my phone was bent. It is a 4-month-old phone still under warranty. They said they will not do anything because it is bent. The phone was sold to us new like that. And what little bend it has does not have anything to do with being locked up! They did nothing and sent me back the same phone locked up! They did not back up their warranty! They did not unlock the phone!

Motorola Motorola cell phone

I purchased my cell phone in September 2021 and I have been unable to permanently remove the Lady that talk back. Numerous trips to Boost mobile to get my phone back working . I was informed that this feature cannot be disabled. I want compensation for my anxiety and non usage of this product. I have been traveling and unable to use my phone while lost. This phone is worthless
