BeachBody Resolution!

After reading everyone’s complaints about our company I have personally set out to try and help solve the problems some of you all seem to be having. I will only have access to this email account, so please I express patience if I have not responded in 24 hours. This also means that you will not have to deal with more than one agent in regards to your account. I am human too and I know how frustrating that can be! Especially when its about your finances! Beachbody is a wonderful company with a GREAT product; I would love for everyone to want to experience this for themselves without having to worry about anything else but your health and fitness. I pledge to make that happen for everyone.

I was so glad I ran across this message. My dad and I were trying to figure out how to cancel his order/account and to stop the vitamins from showing up at the door. I responded to this message and Pierre took care of everything. He did exactly what he said he'd do. He canceled the order and even reimbursed my dad's credit card for some of the vitamins. My dad doesn't use email, so I sent the info for him to Messageboards@beachbody.com and it was taken care of. Thanks, Pierre.

This company BLOWS!

I am a "Coach" (actually, a ruby caoch with 9 people below me) and this company will bleed you DRY! It is the quintesential pyramid sceem. Multi-level maketing at it's finest. Buyer beware! First, it cast 39 bucks to sign up to be a caoch, 15 bucks a month for "website maintance, spend 50 bucks in volume in your store and than get two of your friends (they won't be your friends once you sign them up). Ok, than, once you get your sucker friends to join (like i did) you get customers from there marketing. solunds great! but, you have to pay out the ### to make any mony in this business. A recent rule change effective on feb 11, 08, makes coaches with customers have to be club members, so another 40 bucks a quarter. An even newer change says you will not get paid on customers from spacific tv marketing (yes, the marketing that gets the best paing customers). yes, there are people making thousands of dollars a month, but that won't be you! Those people are at the top of the pyramid. you are at the bottom, at best, you can work your way up to...the bottom. Good luck out there, and stear clear of this company

I have a problem with the company continusely billing my checking account. My account has been hit 3 times in the past two days. I only wanted the dvd and wanted to pay only for the dvd. Yet I have now paid for them several times. I need this taken care of asap or I will be forced to procede with legal actions.

BeachBody Too many charges!

They make you take their Million Dollar Online Membership, saying that it is free for 30 days, and that you can cancel and not be charged. Then you cancel, and they still charge you 38.87! And they won't take it back, because they mysteriously don't have record of you canceling! Don't order this, unless you want to pay more than you think you are!

Ordered your product for $79.90 which I have no problem with but I do have a problem with you deducting $38.87 from my checking account for a membership that I did not knowingly agree to. I therefore am asking for a full refund of the $38.87 If you are as concerned as you say you are this should not be a problem.
Please do not make me regret having purchased your 10-minute DVD package which seems to be an excellent product.

Sincerely,
Mignon Bradshaw

Please review my account I called & spoke w/a rep & they told me that I agreed to a 30 trial internet support, which I DO NOT recall agreeing to & have NEVER used this service. Money has been taken out of my account & I want a full refund for those charges.

Thank you.

BeachBody misleading sales practices

I recently purchased a HipHop Abs DVD set from this company which is owned by Product Partners, LLC. During the course of the call the rep attempts to sell a variety of other items. She informed me about a FREE TRIAL PERIOD for an online "VIP" fitness svc. She explained that I cld cancel the svc AT ANYTIME. The company billed me $42.13 for what they say is FUTURE svc & when I told them that I was canceling so they cld credit me, they refused to do so. The company recorded the call & when I reviewed the copy they sent me, you cld hear the rep clearly state that I cld cancel at anytime but the supervisor told me that that was not relevant & refused to issue me a credit. The company is deliberately deceptive & I would NEVER purchase anything form them again!

AHHH!

I am still hot from just seeing my credit card charged $41.59 for something I did not use. I said repeatedly that I did not want anything but the workout CD. I can even hear in my voice how frustrated I was getting. I contacted the company and was told the same thing.

They sent me a copy of the recording. I was so PISSED that it took 15 minutes just to order the CD's. Because 13 min of the call I am telling the rep that NO I don't want this or that. I said NO over and over again. Then at the end this free "30 day trial period offer" is thrown in. Well by that time I was just ready to get off the phone.

So I to will NEVER buy anything over the phone. It is just not worth the headache!

BeachBody fraudulent / deceiving ads

As posted by others, I was also charged by the company for "million dollar" support program that I never authorized them to enroll or charge me. Company said I was automatically enrolled in a 30-day free trial, and it was my responsibility to stop it if I don't want to get charged. Isn't that a scam, especially if the email confirmation or free enrollment email did not even tell you how much you'll get charged or what services you will get. I did not access these support, NOT ONE, and I asked the company to reverse charges. Overall, I am a dissatisfied consumer and I just want people to be aware of this company as their products come with hidden conditions that will charge your credit card. I feel CHEATED by this company and because of this experience, I do not trust internet shopping anymore.

BeachBody Sneaky credit card charges!

You will get billed first from "Beachbody Fitness" for their shape up program, and then they say in 30 days after you will get another bill. well, the DAY AFTER the initial bill, I got more charges! And they changed their name from Beachbody to Million Dollar Body.

First charge is $68.89, then day after is $29.90 then week and a half later another charge for $40.62 from Million Dollar Body! That wasn't 30 days later! So now i got stuck with these overdraft charges from my bank for this unplanned for expenses!

I ordered their products through ebay and amazon, therefore I completely avoided their scam.

I caught them trying to overbill me twice while trying to order P90X. They reversed the charges and gave me confirmation numbers for both canceled transactions. As I read the above posted complaints most problems began one month after purchase. My one month "anniversary" will be March 2010. I will report any oddities in my checking account if they occur. Oddly Beachbodies inability to charge as advertised lead me to search the web extensively and I found P90X for a one time charge of $64.95. It arrived from China in less than two weeks. It is new, unopened, complete and seemingly paid for with no problems. The product is apparently not bootlegged as it asserts the need for ordering acrudiments and accessories. If anyone reading this has not yet purchased thier P90X search carefully I found them as cheap as $29.95; and after closer inspection some were used, some were incomplete, some seemed potentially legitimate. I found them as expensive as $139.95; these all seemed complete, legitimate kits, some links (not all) lead back to beachbody. I chose (after hours of scrutinizing) by process of elimination of probably 50 purchase options 3 sites to order from with prices from $49.00 to $65.00, two sites with different prices lead to the same billing site, so I threw them out and the last one standing would not let me purchase any other way than paypal. Alas I was about to give up having never used paypal and was not up for another extensive session of signing up for something (especially with dial-up speed) when the simplist of pages opened before my eyes. Transfer from debit acct to paypal, recieve verification of new paypal acct, approve payment to vendor, recieve conformation and instructions for remedies if transaction fails. This being my first online purchase I have learned this: if you don't pay with paypal, you will be remorseful. I'll let you know how remorseful I will be for the two "canceled" transactions with Beachbody before my journey lead to the God send that is paypal.

I've just started P90X and the program makes sense... because it is extremely difficult. It will take be quite awhile before I can complete a program in the given time allotted, I am just too weak (at least with chest & back, and abs).

That being stated I will not subscribe to the MDB program. Partly this is because of this posting, but also because it is an pyramid scheme, and these things never work.

Worse, schemes lower moral and personal integrity of both client and seller. The client doesn't feel their getting enough, the seller coaxes them along... you get the picture. In life, success is obtained by finding the angles others do not see, or are unwilling to undertake. Unfortunately, with a million sales agents on the same task, it is a fair bet that you're going to have stiff competition.

I participated in two pyramid schemes in the 1990s: Excel (an alternate long-distance service) and Cutco Knives. Now the knives, at least, can be used - that is their selling point. Thus, if you demonstrate the efficacy of the knife, people want in... that's the hook. The hook with MDB is that fit individuals have something others want... but others don't necessary want to do the work, at least not consistently.

I'm an avid outdoorman and can do a lot of things that would frighten/daunt others. I've decided I want the body and full strength to go with it. I wouldn't bother too much with MDB though (some supplements are fine) as it will sap your mental energy, and be deleterious to your program temerity.

So this is where everyone who couldn't hack it hangs out. If you couldn't afford to purchase the programs for their full amount you should not have ordered in the first place. Let me guess...all of you are still fat and unhappy. Get off the couch and do something about it!

Unfortunately I got scammed as well. I know their product work because I have people that have done it. However, when I signed up with them I told them I wanted to make the three monthly payments they charged me the full amount. Then when I called they said they would refund the difference to me. They never did. Therefore I mailed the products back to them and still haven't received my money. The only thing I can think to do is call the BBB on them and my attorney general!

I happened to stumble across this website while doing a search on google. I have been involved with Team Beach Body for the past 4 months. I am glad to see that the last complaint posted to this site was 255 days ago. My experience with Beach Body has been nothing but positive. The fitness programs and on-line tools and resources are amazing. I have only ordered products on-line and not over the phone. The process has been flawless everytime. No unwarented credit card charges, excellent email communications, and the products are delivered accuratly and in a timely manner. The trainers who create the Beach Body fitness programs are some of the best, most reputable professional in the fitness industry and have been for years. I have personally participated in a conference call with Beach Body's CEO, Carl Diekler. He is passionate, dedicated, and inspiring. He is genuinely committed to providing state of the art products, tools, and resouces to help curb the obesity epidemic that plagues our country. I am confident that the company has taken the necessary steps to correct any previous issues.

BeachBody unauthorized charges on my account!

I was going over my bank statement and to my dismay there was two charges in one week from beachbody for $64.75 each. I was confused because I didn't order anything from them. So I call cust. serv. and they tell me their servers are down and to call back, so I do three times, finally the fourth time, three days later, I get someone they tell me it was ordered over the phone, and they tell me the shipping address and phone number of the supposed order Ha, it isn't mine,so they have shipped videos to someone else charged my card and won't refund the money! They record their calls and say that the person that made the order sounded just like I do,. I was baffled. Yet they wouldn't let me listen to the recorded phone record. I am disgusted with this company, and have now found that many others are too. If this is not resolved and I don't get my money back i will file a formal complaint with the state better business bureau, and contact legal representation, because if it happened to me, how many others has this same thing happened to?

Sincerely
C. Chase

Tried to stop auto ship of vitamins and Beach Body wouldn't stop auto ship unless we paid $35, for what I assume is a cancellation fee. Total BS. How they get away with this is beyond me.

Something weird happened to me. I wanted Chalean Extreme, so I went to the Beach Body site. I started to order, and then I noticed they wanted to charge me in 3 increments; almost like an autoship, but not quite. So I backed out of the site, deleted my name, address and credit card number, and NEVER confirmed anything. Then, I went to Amazon and purchased the product in 1 payment.

Sure enough, about a week after I got the Amazon product, I got Chalean Extreme from Beach Body. I immediately called them, cancelled it, and returned the box. A month later, 2 more debits were taken from my credit card AGAIN. I called them up, and told them to fix it NOW. To their credit, I got all the credits on my card the next morning.

But what is it with these companies? Gunthy-Renker has TONS of complaints due to mis-charging, and inability to cancel autoship. Seems like all the companies that represent multiple products and/or offer autoship are terrible at refunding. If I can't get a product with ONE payment, I just don't buy it anymore.

I ordered Beachbody Chalean Extreme in December 2008 and payed for express shipping. Two weeks after not receiving my order I called only to find the order had still not even been sent out from their warehouse! Finally, after receiving the order I was not at all impressed (prefer Power 90X) and returned the order... I even payed an extra $25 to track and purchase insurance on the return to ensure that the order was returned safely and promptly. Beachbody has confirmed they have received my return and tell me due to a "technical glitch" the refund has not been processed. I have called three times and each time they tell me my refund will be processed within 3-5 business days... it has been over a month and still no refund. I spoke with a supervisor who referred me to the corporate office which is really just another number for the main automated line. The refund amount is over $150.00... Beachbody has lost a long standing repeat customer... so much for their 30 day money back guarantee.

I too have been scammed by Beachbody.com. I did order their product but I told the phone salesperson not once but twice that "I only wanted the basic package." My workout dvd's arrived and I did not have a chance to view them within the 30 day return period. When I did view them I was extremely disappointed! The infomercial promotes it as working out to the latest hip hop music but the truth is that it's the guy who does the workouts, no one has ever heard of him -- he's just some "wanna-be rapper." I sucked it up since it was beyond 30 days. But this month my credit card statement had another charge on it from Beachbody.com. I called Beachbody.com and they went through the process of saying they'd review the recorded call and refund my money if they deemed a mistake was made. I received a call from them and they said I said no to everything except one option. The option being their online program which is given to you for a free 30 day trial and "if you decide to continue after the free trial they'll bill you $.43 per day..." I never asked for this program and never accessed this service or opened any of the gazillion emails they sent. If I don't start something how can I continue it? I had them ship me a copy of the recording of my sales call for my own review which I received today and just as clear as a bell, twice I say I only want the basic package. Beachbody will not refund the additional money charged to my credit card. I phoned again today and was stuck in an endless loop of holds and supervisors who were busy, etc. The last customer service gave me a number to the corporate office which answers with the exact same recording as the previous number I had dialed. Do not buy from this organization! The workout is lame, the music is pathetic and they'll try to sell you products you don't want and even when you say you don't want them, they'll charge you anyway.
