I've had my home air conditioning system for 20 years now, and it's been giving me trouble every year. But thanks to *** from Sun State, things are finally looking up! He was really thorough, professional, and knew his stuff. He found and fixed the problem super quick, even when others couldn't. I can't recommend them enough! They deserve a 5-star AAA +++ rating!

The owner, ***, is very professional and responsible to answer all questions. Technician, ***, came and did all jobs with professionalism and honesty. He resolved the issue with his experience and knowledge. I will use this company in the future and recommend it to my friends. I give them 5 Stars.

When our heat went out last week, our home warranty company assigned the service order to Sun State. We couldn't be happier with the service we received. The communications were excellent and the guy from Sun State was very friendly. He quickly identified the problem, repaired it, and our heat was back on before we knew it. We appreciate the great service.

This is a famly run busness I originally found thru my home warranty program. The two times I have needed them in the past three years they have been on time, responsive and got things right the first time for each of our units. They dont overcharge for service, they are honest and have gone above and beyond my expectations each visit. They even have me some maintenance tips on how to make our old AC unit last beyond its years. I will definitely use them again when needed and would highly recommend.

My sincere compliments to ***. They have great technical skills and are very pleasant to deal with. *** was able to diagnose the problem with our AC very quickly. Even though the replacement part was defective, we had to wait a few more days for a new part. But once it was done, everything worked great and we were very happy to have air conditioning from our main unit. *** handled the service request promptly and efficiently. They kept us informed at all times, from the beginning of the process to the end. Well done Sun State! All of you are a real credit to your organization.

We are absolutly convinced Sun State HVAC aka Sun State Refrigeration is one of the most honest and professional HVAC companies in ***. We contacted *** and explained an issue with another company assigned to us by our home warranty company. *** immediately arranged for a technician to come to our house and inspect our HVAC unit. Friday, at my request the warranty company transfered the service call to Sun State. Monday morning ***, Sun State technician, was at our house with the parts and skills needed to fix our HVAC. We are now able to enjoy a cool home thanks to *** and ***. These people are extremely professional and provide a great customer experience. They have earned our continued business and recommendation.

We've been using Sun State Refrigeration for many years. We have complete confidence in their yearly maintenance service and *** always explains everything he's doing, why he's doing it, and lets us ask as many questions as we have. He is very knowledgeable, honest, and hardworking. He truly cares that we're cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We recently had our compressor go out and he was able to get out quickly, diagnose quickly, and get back with the part quickly. From the call late on Thursday to Monday by 1:00 we had a new compressor installed. The office staff and owners are also excellent at answering questions, looking up warranty information, and are honest. What more could we ask for. Very grateful to know they're there for yearly service as well as unforeseen 'emergency' repairs!

I been working with Sun State for 2 years and I'm really happy with their honest and great service. My air conditioning unit is super old but still working fine. They serviced it and said they'll let me know when it's time to replace it instead of wasting money on fixing it. I like that they're not trying to sell me a new unit just because mine is old. I called them for repairs on Monday. I had no a/c for 2 1/2 days but even though they're closed on weekends, they replied to my emails and kept me updated on when they could come and check things. They called to say they were on their way and explained the repairs before starting. I'll keep using them for my current unit and when I need a new one, they'll have my business. I appreciate their kindness and honesty.

I am absolutly blown away by the level of service provided by Sun State Refrigeration, and specifically by the two wonderful technicians Rob and Steve who came out to my home. They were more helpful, skilled, and knowledgable than any tech I have ever had for any type of home service. Rob went over every single item/area they checked with me point by point and had even taken pictures of each item so I could see and get a clear understanding of my unit. He made thoughtful recommendations for what I should replace and even what I could replace but didn't necessarily need to. Rob empowered me by physically showing me the various areas to keep an eye on if I suspect a problem which will allow me to feel more informed when calling for service in the future. Its also important to note that they were very respectful of my home and wore boot covers and a face mask every time they were inside. Additionally, a warm thank you to Sun State's owner Sean who we connected with personally about maintenance, and to Doreen for her fast and helpful assistance booking the appointment. Truly their level of service is unmatched. I did not use Sun State Refrigeration through my home warranty this time, but in the future I will not use any company other than Sun State whether my home warranty will accept them as a vendor or not. I will pay entirely out of pocket. I will be actively refering everyone I know to Sun State Refrigeration for all their service needs!

I highly recommend Rob with Sun State Refrigeration (locally owned family business). As a 30-year+ Realtor, I've come across many HVAC companies over the years, and this is a good company with a very friendly and skilled Technician named Rob. The Central A/C stopped working in our AZ property on a late Saturday morning in June. It was about 106 degrees, hot, sunny, and oppressive. We called the home warranty company, and they sent our work order to Sun State Refrigeration. Since it was a Saturday, we were pretty sure the earliest they could come would be on Monday. We were okay with that since we were planning a stay-cation due to Covid 19 public entertainment restrictions. We went to a Hotel resort with a pool for Sat and Sun. Best thing to do when you have 3 kiddies under 10 years old. Monday, Rob from Sun State refrigeration came around 3pm and worked on the unit. It took about 1.5hrs. Because we had a home warranty, everything was covered, and we only had to pay the Trip Charge to the Warranty company, which was $75. We had a failed Run Capacitor and motor, and Rob replaced it. I also had Rob do a Chemical Cleaning on the outdoor condenser since we didn't have an annual cleaning for over 3 years. The results were very impressive. I hadn't seen our unit that clean in ages! That was $150, and I felt it was very reasonable. My wife and I are very pleased with Rob and Sun State. Rob took the time to tell us what steps he would take, and he answered a number of questions such as: what size ac unit should a 1800sqft home have to cool it properly (approximately 1 ton per 400sqft of building space), additional Information on Freon (r22) vs Puron (r-410a) laws and usage (not illegal to use freon, just can't use it in new a/c systems), the type of filters to use (Pleated Rheem Filter, change every 30 days or 6 weeks), and other questions.
