All new Michelins installed on my Mercedes on Nov 17, 2019. (Mavis ord # 035509)
Within 2 years It looked like they were dry rotting, but I continued on.
A research on Google indicated that dry rot was being reported on Michelin tires but they were listing it happening after 6 years.
After 3 years and 23000 miles the tires were visibly dry rotting through tread and sidewalls.
I replaced all tires with new Continentals and following installation I asked the dealer to let me take pictures of date codes on side of tire.
2 tires were manufactured over 3 years before they were installed on my car.
ONE TIRE WAS MADE IN 2011 and OVER 8 YEARS before being placed on my car.
Desired outcome: Never Mavis
