Mavis Discount Tire Battery replacement

I purchased and had installed, in my Honda Accord, a new battery for a total of $108.61.
The mileage noted on the January 2, 2018 receipt from Mavis facility # 7113472 is 55, 000.
On August 6, 2020 AAA replaced the dead battery noting the correct mileage as 52, 000.
The Honda shows 52, 465 miles as I type this note.
This means the car has been driven approximately 465 miles in 2 months.
It also means the car had around 45.000 miles at the time your service station replaced the battery.
Aside from getting the mileage wrong (which is quite hard to do for anyone with eyesight) your people took several hours to perform the simple task of exchanging a battery!
But to make matters worse the AAA technician informed us that the battery your people placed in my car was totally the wrong size and definitely should not have been installed.
He went on to say he was surprised it lasted as long as it had!
WE ARE TALKING ABOUT ONLY 2½ YEARS!
The battery was so small that it was held in place by 3 bungee cords lest it fly out of the well.
I have complained but have gotten no response. I am not asking for a complete refund on the dangerously wrong sized battery and the installation that proves your people knew what they were doing since I did have the use of the thing for 2½ years but I am asking for at least a response, even if it's just a drop dead!
As of this moment I am telling people to never, EVER use Mavis as they are a fraudulent company and they might do great harm to your vehicle!
If you would care to prove me wrong, you will have to respond! All corroborating papers available.

Mavis Discount Tire Appointment error!

My appointment (75664) was scheduled for Sunday, December 6 @ 10am. I was on time. I was informed that the tire change process would be about 1 1/2 hours and that I would receive a call. The call never came. I returned at 12.30 pm. The wrong tires were put on the car. My appointment was confused with someone else's! I got my car at 2.30 pm!

Mavis Discount Tire Oil change and tire pressure

Hello, on September 20, 2020, I, Temeka Dixon, took my car in for service at Mavis Tire at 7005 Concourse Pkwy. I made an appointment for 9:00am for an Oil change, tire rotation, and to check my tires for a puncture. My car was returned to me around 12 noon on the same day. I returned home and decided to check the oil stick, 3 hours later, to make sure they changed the oil. While checking the oil, I noticed that it was very little oil barely on the tip of the stick. I returned to Mavis the same day and spoke to the manager, Roman, and spoke on how unsatisfied I was with the service from this shop. Roman asked it we could go and look at the oil stick and we did. Once he pulled the stick he stated, "There is oil in this car but it is not enough". I stated to him that I paid for enough and they even charged me for additional quarts. He also went on to say that during oil changes, the techs were supposed to wait 10 minutes each time they pour in quarts of oil to make sure nothing cracked. He stated that the techs may have deemed my car ready after waiting 10 minutes and forgot to go back to make sure it was full.
I stated to him that his statement on what could have happened had no bearings on me and why my car was returned to me with very little oil. The manager, Roman, asked if I wanted a free oil change or a free tire balance on my next visit. I requested a free tire balance on my next visit. I was still unhappy even though I accepted the offer. If I had not checked my car, that could have caused extensive damage for me as the consumer to repair.
Before I left, I asked the manager if my tires were checked for a puncture because my tire gauge light was on? He stated they checked and found nothing wrong. On September 24, 2020, my tire gauge light came back on. I took my car back to Mavis on that day and was greeted by Dere'k. I advised Dere'k of my situations with my car since in brought it in on September 20, 2020. The same manager, Roman, came up and asked what was the issue. I recanted about the oil change incident and then brought up about my tires could not have been checked because I am back with issues with my tires. Roman stated to me that they were very busy and I would have to wait until they finished some of the other customers and he could possible fit me in. He also offered for me to return back to the shop on today, September 25, 2020, at 9am. I advised him that I spent 3 hours at this shop on Sunday and then had return to the shop on the same day to fix what I previously paid for. Now, he was expecting me to take off work to lose more of my time, AGAIN.
I walked over to the side and Dere'k came over to me and asked how could he help me. Dere'k stated to me that he was about to get off but he seen the frustration and wanted to help any way that he could. I told him thank you but go ahead and get off I'll just wait. Dere'k insisted that he stayed and assisted me. I accepted and I asked if he could check my tires to see if there were a puncture. He came to my car with a tire mechanism and checked all of my tires to see the pressure. Three of my tires were inflated way beyond capacity and one was way beneath capacity. He deflated three of the tires to the right capacity and added air to the other one. I am under the impression that the techs added air to my tires to see if they were punctured but failed to return the tires to the appropriate capacity. That could have caused a major problem with my tires being at that capacity. The light gauge went off after the pressure was adjusted.
I thanked Dere'k for going over and beyond his duties. What he did should have been done by the manager. Dere'k customer service skills exemplified what a manager should be. He cared more about problem and took time to help me more that the manager, Roman.
I just want to give kudos to Dere'k for assisting me with my car situation.
My whole experience on Sunday was horrible and this is just one of many horrible experiences that I have had here. Very unsatisfied customer.

Mavis Discount Tire They did not do the work that we paid them to do

On june 16/20 my vehicle was dropped off at mavis on central ave in schenectady ny. I was not told atime it would be ready. I called several times during the day. Rob who was taking care of my vehicle was not honest with us he did not tell me that there machine to do alignments was broken. Hedid not tell me it would have to be driven to another shop to be aligned. He did not tell me that it went to rotterdam ny to be aligned. He hung up on me and refused to communicate with me. Mydaughter intervened and talked to receptionist, when we went to pick up vehicle the keys were in the truck with paperwork. As we wer driving the truck started to jerk and tremble, I had to run off the road on to the sidewalk to keep from hitting another vehicle. Thank god no pedestrian was on sidewalk at the time, they wood have been killed the next morning I took it to rotterdam and scott took ever this mess. He took the truck for adrive and deemed it unsafe to drive. He said I cannot let you leave here with this truck and have a clear concious. Scott s very respectful, professional, and has bent over backwards to rectify this situation. Today is june 21 and still no truck. Parts had t0 be ordered, and work be done. We wer give a truck and charged 924.10 for what? We should have been given a rental, and if that were done in beginning we would have at least had transportation. We have a businessto run, we have lost quite a bit of money, lost orders, customers upset. I was very disrepected by rob, and could have caused the death of myself and others. I dont know when I will have transportation. I am aware of the 20 lives that wer lost as a result of mavis lying about work done.

Mavis Discount Tire Tire services.

I purchased 4 brand new tires for my jeep Cherokee back in November 2019. We are now in June 2020 and my four-wheel-drive is not working properly because they put the wrong tires on my car. I addressed the manager who changed my tires but my car 4 wheel drive is still damaged $4000 worth. They have been giving me the run around. The regional manager Scott was suppose to call me and no one has called. It's been three weeks and I've called headquarters and still no response.
