Marshalls I am an employee at a marshalls and one of the employees yells at everyone and acts like a manager which she isn't

This employee got upset with me for going on break late or for some reason said it affects pay roll . I have dealt with her getting on me before but I figured she needs to change and not treat my other coworkers the way she does .I don't obviously think this kind of behavior of this employee should be tolerated she also gets on her employees in front of customers which shows customers not many employees get along .

Marshalls how I was treated

I had gone to Marshalls on Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua, NH on 1/30/2019 and purchase 2 sweaters. I did not try them on as I was in a hurry but I did help the cashier by taking one of the sweaters off the hanger. When I did that the price tag came off and the cashier just used that to ring in the sweater and put the tag in my bag. This was at 19:34 pm. I did try the sweater on but did not like it. I returned it to The marshalls on North West BLVD in Nashua, NH on 2/4/19. The cashier matched up the tag to the sweater by using an electronic device. Another older girl dark hair, glasses and in her 20s stated you need to match that up then proceeded to call Barbara the MOD up to the counter and started to talk very loudly saying does it look like she wore that-that the tag was not attached and this dark hair girl kept staring at me. She was talking so loud that the customers at the other registers were looking at me also. The cashier did not know what to do and stood there wondering should she cash me out and I finally asked the dark hair girl can I be rung out and rudely she replied yes. It was very awkward and uncomfortable as the cashier and I just stood there with our mouths open at this girls rudeness. At this point I was embarrassed and felt like I was treated like a criminal. Customers were staring at me and I was going to look at merchandise but decided to leave. I did address the dark haired girl and asked is there a problem with my return and she stated again rudely NO. No one should be made to feel like you are a criminal and embarrassed when you did nothing wrong. I did pull over and call the store and spoke to Barbara who did admit the whole incident could have been handled more professionally. I will never shop at that store again and obviously I like Marshalls, TJ Max (you could see by my credit card balance unfortunately). I manage a Doctors office and I would never treat a patient the way I was treated. This dark haired girl definitely needs more customer service training as I do not want this to happen to anyone else.

Marshalls customer service

On December 12, 2018 me and my brother go into Marshall's first of all they start following us around rudely following us not even asking if we need help after about a hour of shopping the clearance isles which or messy and dirty everything is mixed up u can't tell what anything costs because the tags looked tampered with and such so I ask the employee that was following me to check to see if this was the correct price and she assured me it was so I get in line to pay and she scans the first item and before she even looks on the screen she tells me the price was incorrect that it was the wrong tag on there then she scans the next item and she says again wrong tag I say man that's impossible I'll go grab the 6 other items on the rack with the same price on them and she said ok go grab it if that the case I'll give it to u for that so I run get it and she's helping someone else she told me get back in line.i feel so discriminated against I feel like she judged me on the way I look .I can't believe a company like yours allows this kind of behavior I will be contacting the bbc and filing a complaint this happeneds way to much at this store it's ridiculous I'm a proud working tax paying law abiding citizen and it's horrible that your store employees made me feel like a criminal do you allow this in your company?

Marshalls returns

I bought christmas gifts in september..there was a jacket for 39.99 i attempted to take back to the reynoldsburg ohio store. Jacket was purchased there in sept.

I tried taking it back the day after christmas. They refused to take it back said it was out of their system i asked to see the manager. He woukd not budge on this. I called customer service and had to call back twice as no area manager called me back finally talked to a christina who said she was a district manager.

Said things come n go in the stores all the time and after 30 or 60 days the items are no longer in their system so basically i am out out the price of the jacket. I cancelled my marshalls/tj maxx credit card and will b shopping at other stores or online. Can not affird to loose that kind of money. Fyi marshalls tj maxx i spent thousands at your store.

Im sure the other stores in my area WILL appreciate my business. As i told the district manager the easy part is me paying u money and the clerk putting the items in the bag, the customer service part is how im treated after the sale and your store failed miserably

Marshalls I was accused of shoplifting after making my purchased and showing my receipt at the door.

On December 28, 2018, at 8:56 pm in the center city mall located on 301 Main street Street Paterson, NJ 07505. I am a regular customer at Marshall's for many years but today was the last day that I will ever spend my money in this store. I was trying to find the perfect attire for an even and I was being chased around the store when I was standing on line to pay. He was pretending he was trying to see what if I had anything in my purse. I was looking at what I had picked up to purchase I notice he was looking at me. The employee who I thought was a customer because he had a pair of shoes in his hand, when I notice he was trying to see if I was stealing I fell very embarrassed on my way to the register, and when I was on my way to of the store he extended his hand without saying anything and I asked him what he wanted? that if he wanted to see my receipt and he did not even bother to answer me, he only his head, yes. I gave him the receipt. I open my bag and gave him the receipt. When i gave him the receipt he did not even check the receipt or asked me for the bags and said in a very ignorant way " look she has stolen all this" to the security. I was in shock and could not believe that it had happened to me I was very embarrassed, if it had not been because I was on a rushed home because it was late I would have had called him the police for accusing me of robbery without having no proof but a receipt that included all the items in my bag. this is very unfortunate and e i hope this is taking in consideration so that anyone else goes through this. I understand this is not the best neighborhood but an I will suggest that before hiring someone to consider the individuals experience on what good customer service looks like. I am a working and women that do not have the necessity to shoplift in any store I as well work in retail but I have never accused of intimidating a customer that is just shopping.

Marshalls a pair of timberland boots

I want to report that I bought a pair of boots in Marshall in October and its now broken inside because its quality. But staff said they can't give me any compensation or refund or replace a new one because its exceeded 30 days.And they told me there is nothing they can do because the boots is brand in Timberland, marshall is only selling. I think it unfair, Whatever its brand is, I bought it from marshall. Does that means marshall only selling goods and doesn't care about its quality at all? This is ridiculous. Looking forward to a USEFUL reply. Thanks.

Marshalls customer service complaint and price

I came in to Largo Mall store in Largo Florida to purchase a Anastasia contouring palette when I picked up the pallet and said his $3 so I thought that was going to be the price of the of the product rewind I went to Carlos the customer service rep to check out he peeled off the sticker and send it now cost $15 and then I said well I would like to see the manager the manager Don our supervisor said that they can't sell me this product for $3 but that was what it said on the sticker when I picked it up so mean while I did not purchase the the the power to do to the misunderstanding of the price of the pilot. GGG that circumstances I was treated very rudely from Don and Carlos future that I walked out of the Marshalls store will not be returning back at as a continuing customer which I go there at least two to three times a week purchasing stuff so did you that I've circumstances I will no longer be coming back to that store whoever I will be on contacting the manager with this incident.

Marshalls the manger

I just spend 300 dollars at this location, and some of things that I got were from the clearance section with I guess most of the the stuff is not even organized and I got 2 pants that have different prices and the manager want to charge me with different prices and he was so disrespectful. And he comments loudly isn't this weird that this happens 2 in this order? Yet he didn't say the 2 is total of how many! So he meant like I did it. And I found that to be so judgmental and disrespectful I still bought everything with the different price but he should go look at the aisles and look at the tags and work hard to organize this stuff instead of being disrespectful to customers. The order # [protected] and you could see how the manager took the sale price tag from all the 14 items that I got saying that they had the wrong price at the cashier, so why did they tag them the wrong price?!

Marshalls women's clothing

What is up with all the 80's look in Salvation Army sweaters there it's so disappointing and then most of the blouses that you can buy there or so high waisted you can even they won't even go past your hips and they have all these clothes that are built for Barbie dolls you can even get your arms in them I used to love Marshalls but the past couple years they really have gone crazy with their clothing and neither are normal people out there that like to shop for normal clothes I won't be shopping here anymore

Marshalls employees/supervisor (connie b.)

An asian associate did not allow me to return my item without receipt, said could not find my items in the system and her manager Connie B. also told me they could not return it without a receipt as they could not find it. I know this is untrue as they didn't even scan my item with the machine. I went to another store and was able to get everything returned because of course the items scanned without an issue. I want to complain about this as this is not right to lie to the customer and waste the customer's time to wait in line and go through the hassle when the items were returnable. I drove there for nothing when I could have gotten everything returned and use my gift card to buy new items in the store! Beware what they tell you and demand to get it scanned. I didn't want to waste my time as a supervisor told me this but I should have demanded to talk to someone even higher.

Is there even compensation for this?

Marshalls employee

So the other day I went into Marshall's with my sister and went to the fitting room to try some clothes I liked. The girl was in the fitting room working was very rude to me and had a lot of attitude. She even rolled her eyes when I asked her something and answer my questions with some awful attitude that no employee should give to a customer. I believe her name is Maria she's a tall girl and skinny.

Marshalls a racist employee

I just want to inform you of a employee of Marshalls in Roanoke Virginia. I am Robert BRIAN Berry. I'm mixed race but I really don't appreciate her saying such things? Because i don't like Pork and Rice? If this is the type of employees you all hire? She's representing your Company. And i can't shop there anymore. Nor would i recommend it. Marshalls unethical behavior

We were in the store and the clerk at cash register was taking too long to ring up the purchased items as he was distracted and was not paying attention and on top of that he was very rude and told that he even can go more slower.

We requested to speak to the Manager(Whose name was April ) who then came and without even listening to us stated that she does not think that clerk was unethical and did not even bother to listen to our complaint and left abruptly.

We are regular customer in Marshall store and the kind of customer service we got today will discourage us to shop in this store in future and we will also make sure that our love ones and friends also didi not shop at this particular store.

Marshalls lost layaway

On 10/27/2018 I went to the Marshall's at 3606 Marketplace Blvd East Point, GA to pick up my layaway at 3:30pm and they could not find it. Six people later and hour and a half later still no layaway. I really wanted my layaway because My kids really like the shoes that they picked out them self's and I was applauded at how long it took them to find it. Then at 5:00pm the manager Jay Jennings told me that the associate that put my layaway up for me had to find it and she comes in at 6pm. Then he gave me a 20% discount coupon that I have to use in 30 days I can not use it on my layaway. At the time I was frustrated and I really wanted to keep the shoes I said OK and I will come back at 6pm. I came back at 6pm and Lyn who had originally put my layaway up was there and she search for another 32 minutes at that point I was very upset and I was telling them I wanted my money back and I was never coming back. When I said that Lyn came out with my Layaway. This was a very bad experience for me and I missed an appointment that I had at 6pm.

There was a girl smoking pot in her car in the parking lot of Marshall's in Shelby north Carolina she was a employee her name tag said Courtney I had my two grandchildren with me when we walked by her smoking in her silver car then she later cashed us out all we could smell we will never return to the store until the matter is resolved I am contacting the better business bureau.

Marshalls unethical behavior

I was in the store in Ballwin mo on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 . I came to return some items i had purchased a week and a half prior from the same location i spent on that day over $500.00 in your store . i was in line dealing with the cashier name Kathy and next to me another customer was doing the same thing i was she had returns too, i presented my items for return and my receipt the associate kept looking over my items checking tags as if i had removed them and put them back then she proceeded to take all my items and my receipt to another part of the store to another rep who also look over the items and my receipt by this time the lady next to me was checked out given her refund and was on her way i had to an extra 15 minutes till kathy came back i asked what the problem was she told me the tags were to long i explained i had purchased these items here so i don't know why the tags would look different, then the manager came over and said that it was because it was a refund, two different stories so i said well the lady next to me had a refund and she was in and out with no problem i couldn't get a straight answer i proceed to informed them that my son has worked her for over 5 years and i know this is not how a refund is handled, i was humiliate and embarrassed and i will never shop any of your stores and i telling all my social media followers (1000+) never to shop at your store because Marshalls is racist . I AM AN AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN and the lady next to me checking out also with a refund like me was you guessed it not African american. I should never be made to feel first of all like a criminal or a thief .

Marshalls rude cashier

My husband and I went to the new Marshalls in Wyncote, Pa 2401 Cheltenham Ave, for the first time ans was waited on by a very rude cashier (Mitzi R.) While standing in line my husband moved closer to the cash registers to continue to browse the merchandise that was ahead of the expected waiting point in line. The cashier rudely told him to move back. When it was our turn to be serviced I explained to her that he was viewing the product, with anticipation of purchasing more items. She said "well he can't pass the line), then as she proceeded to ring us up an item didn't have a tag (food tray) we found it in clearance because of the multiple scratches, so she had another employee find the price, while waiting she begin to help another cashier a d customer, rather then continue to ring our other items. She returned with the full price for the tray, when I stated it was damaged she rudely said well what you want me to do, you don't want it, i said yes, but would appreciate a discount considering the damages and the fact it was in clearance. She begin to make a tag for the item, while using multiple words of profanity, which was beyond RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Finally, she begin to ring our other items while loudly singing the song from the store music., extremly slowly (by this time we were at the counter for 12 minutes, with 6 customers behind us) a few minutes later she was still ringing our items, my husband walked out of line and left. I stood their and asked the cashier why was she being rude and she said what you talking about. I explained her attitude towards us from the beginning of our service to the fact that she was holding up the line because she was purposely takin her time (after she heard me multiple times tell my husband my body was sore from standing so long, since i am 26 weeks pregnant). I've been shopping at Marshalls/Tj Maxx for well over 10 years and been to multiple locations across the east coast and have NEVER been treated so rudely or had a bad experience for that matter, so to be treated like this at my local Marshalls (only 5 minutes from my home), I am highly disappointed.

Marshalls return policy

I was trying to return the two item that i bought yesterday i bought on losgatos and i try to return it on the greatmall location marshal because it was near I brought the reciept and the item i didnt used the wallet the tag is there and the slipper didn't fit on me. The manager and the casher didnt help me and they didnt accept the item that I return the policy said you have 10 to 30 days to return. I just bought it yesterday and i was trying to return it today it is not even two days. I want to complain about this so badly they also told me to go all the way to los gatos where i bought the item to bring it back there. How rude and they didnt know there own company rules specially that you are in the outlet mall location very very poor customer service. The manager didnt know and didn't help me. The managers and the casher harrass me.

Marshalls tag on curtain incorrect

Ocober 6, 2018; Store number 376.
After waiting in line for amoust 20 minutes when I finally got to the register to check out the curtains I had rung up for 20 dollars. the associate told me to hold on went and talked to another associate came back and told me the price is incorrect. I asked to speak with the Manager and the associate that was helping ringing me up (Henisha) went to go get another associate (Victoria) which iwas under the impression was a manager because I had asked to speak with a manager. Victoria then proceeed to tell me how the item was incorrectly priced took the sticker off of the curtains. I then asked was the store manager on duty as I would like to speak with her. Victoria then called the store Manager Suezette up to the front. when Suezette got to the front she did not acknolege me at all. he started talkeing to victoria then looked at me and said it was marked incorrectly and walked off as if she was done speaking with me. I tried to explain to the two associates that was there that the curtains being marked incorrecctly have nothing to do with me and I feel that they should honnor the price. Victoria then walked off with out saying anything and Hanisha asked did I want the curtains or not. I was so livid as I shop at Marshaalls, TJ Maxx and Home Goods on a regular. And actually use to work at TJ Maxx and never incountered the disrespect and bad customer service I experianced this day. I would like the Associates and the Store Manager in this case to be repermanded. I do not feel that you should have the attitude and demeanor that these three individuals had Saturday October 6, 2018 when working in customer service. If something is not done you will endup loosing alot of business. People pay for good customer service they do not pay to be treated and talked to as if they are not appreciated. I have pictures and video of the whole incounter and would like you all to honor your price that was on the curtain as again it was no fault of my own that an employee incorrectly tagged an item.

Marshalls customer service

Called to inquire about employment opportunities and was told that Marshall's would be hiring pt help. I went into the store as told and asked for an application. Cashier stated they would be outside the entrance, I explained that there were'nt any. She then said it may be some in the office and asked that I wait. I waited inside the store for over an hour even after I asked for a manager. After waiting another 15min, being ignored and no customers to be seen I finally left. I will post this to those who would ever consider working for this company!
