I purchased 2 magicjack's that I saw on television around I think last week of June'08 because firstly their commercial stated that " You do not pay for 30 days." Around July 2'08, I got to know that there was a "hold transaction" of US$126.75 from our bank from MagicJack! I went online thru their website to complain because they do not even have any telephone no. for customer service. I printed out as evidence my discussion about their "hold billing of $126.75 from our account with MagicJack's online customer care. They said that on July2'08 MagicJack already sent out the package. Their online customer care told me that I can even refused delivery, and when they received it back that was the only way for them to "lift the hold" of my money! They did not even resolved my complaint!
About after 3 or 4 days, we received the package from MagicJac's, we didn't opened the package and we refused delivery.
As of today, we went to our online banking and saw that MagicJack has charged our bank in the amount of $86.80. From the receipt of the amount they took from our account, I saw a tel. no located in Florida and I called them and made a complaint about it again. The lady named Angela told me that MagicJack Managers know about everybody's complaints including mine, and Angela has told me that they can not give me back my $86.80 only until when they received the product that I refused delivery.
Now check this out, on television about MagicJack;s infomercial, it says at the time I purchased this product, that "YOU WILL NOT BE BILLED FOR 30 DAYS TRIAL, " YOU CAN RETURN THE PRODUCTS IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED, NO QUESTIONS ASKED."
They are false advertising and they have been probably misleading information about their products, unfortunately, I am one among their victims!
This is "ILLEGAL and UNETHICAL!" What happened to honest and truthful advertising about products they sell to consumers nowadays?
Be careful guys, don't you ever buy from them, they will scam you of your money! BEWARE OF MAGICJACK!

My 2 telephone lines were working until I lost a file cdloader2.exe and could not use my telephone. I have used live chat and found that there isn't customer service. I am dead in the water without these lines, but have not received the help I need yet.
Hello all,
I talked a friend of mine into purchasing the MagicJack about 4 months ago. When she received the product in the mail she went ahead and set it up, she said it was very easy to install. I went to her work and had her call my cellphone, we wanted to see how well the audio was...we were both very impressed on both inbound and outbound calls. This week my wife and I went ahead and ordered our magic jack. We got it yesterday and absolutely love it. For $20 a year this is a great product! I have absolutely no complaints.
This company pretends to be satisfied customers, posting their own comments. Don't be fooled.
