Macy's review: Customer service

I am a regular customer at Macy's. I don't feel its great customer service to have 1 counter open for clothing and shoe department and people standing in line for long periods of time. It has happened several times however this time was different. Two associates checking out people a customer walks up with several clothes, the other associate young Spanish girl finishes her customer and looks at me the only one in line and goes to the back and start pulling clothes out of the dressing room. I am fuming by now because I've worked in the retail before and we were always instructed to take care of the customer and then proceed to taking care of other duties. I did bring it up to the young man that was checking me out eventually and he said well why didn't you go to the shoe department. I said I didn't know it was an option. Yes next time go to Shoe's, but there are two associates here and only 1 person checking. It was hard for him to understand. Really I spend a lot of money at Macy's as stated earlier and I really think this should be addressed. It occurred Monday, April 26, 2021 @ Macy's Deerbrook Mall Humble Texas @ approximately 6:00pm
