As a fan of my local Lowe's, I have overlooked this issue for several years. This week however, the situation was as bad as it ever has been. The beautiful garden center is dangerous and irritating, with not just water in the aisles but actual puddles. Customers are forced to jump the puddles, navigate the garden hoses (which are challenging with shopping carts) and the "slippery when wet" cones. Seriously?! Bags of potting mix and mulch are soaked. This happens throughout the day but the mornings seem to be the worst. Other garden centers are not this bad, so there has to be a solution that other centers have figured out.
Desired outcome: Water plants in the evening, and mist them throughout the day. Install faucets throughout the garden center that small hoses can be used rather than hoses being strung throughout the center.
