I am an employee who sees the everyday and behind the scenes. At store #746 in Decatur Illinois we get a new GM every few months. And new AM and OM every 3-6 months. I will say the last GM David, from Arkansas was FABULOUS! he came in and cleaned the store up and had a smooth and great operational team and store! Being a team is everything! The new GM Mykel is not very friendly. So therefore the "team isn't a team" if u are not considered someone worthy to him then he does not have the time for u. Aka unless ur a manager or shift lift lead ur ignored. I have multiple complaints about the current GM. One of which is causing a issue with product. Roller grill items, cups and lids, cleaning and tolietry, additives, tobacco products, merchandise and so much more not being ordered. We have members wanting items that we don't have in the store so therefore we cannot sell the stuff causing a lost in revenue. And if for some reason we do have items that need shelved u are unable to get to them as the kitchen and back store rooms are stacked to the ceiling very disorganized and all around a danger to anyone who enters. Lost of revenue is a concern cuz many times I've heard people complain and then say they'll just go to pilot. These are issues that can be prevented. Hardee's is supposed to be open 24/7. For the last couple weeks their operational hours have been 8a.m. to 8p.m. due to no staffing. Our tire mechanics are working as counter clerks during the evenings and overnights due to no staff. Making them also lose road calls. The restaurant and hardee's both losing revenue all do to the staffing. We are losing staffing from the attitude "I'm better than u" from management, losing staff from management drastically changing people's hours and schedules, losing staffing from the lack of appreciation from management, losing employees from angry customers due to being out of everything... All things that can be prevented. And the GM constantly checks out a shower room multiple times a day for several minutes at a time. Just disappears. Here recently the GM posted a note for all store side employees. The note doesn't say "disclude managers and shift leads" but that's the case. how is it fair? How do we know one of them weren't the issue? The note saying "radios will be checked out for collateral of ur cell phone" big concern. WHo Is The Responsible Party For LOST, STOLEN, Or DAMAGED Cell Phones? Is loves corporate responsible or? Most cell phones are between 1k-5k each! Also in today's world mass shootings and burgarly are an everyday occurrence. Day or light. My biggest fear for evening and over night workers. What happens when the next business that falls victim is this specific loves? I have yet to meet a shooter or robber who will let a employee use the cell phone to call the authorities in case of an emergency! And us employees need to get to a safe place and need access to a phone during a event that could occur! Only places a work phone is behind the counter and in a locked office! The whole cellphone thing needs thought more thoroughly. Let me also add that tire pass and fax have been broken down three months with no care. Unsatisfied customers. Pinpads outside have worked in months. Unsatisfied customers. 8 hour never gets done outside making garbages over full. Unsatisfied customers.all can be prevented with good Managment that knows team work and can keep a good team together! It's always "that's not my job!" Correction. It's everyone's job to have a good store! Especially managers! The current management doesn't help hardee's, their clerks, tire shop, nobody. They have their three circle click and they only care for each other. And I think the management and the store and it sells needs investigated. And if done so the obvious is there in black and white. Help make this store great again! Prior to the current GM we had well above good mystery shoppers reports, great sales, great employees, hardee's open 24/7, a tire techs who wasn't tied up and had to decline road calls, and was just a better store! Save our store! Send help!

Preventive maintenance
Had a pm done yesterday 02/18/2021 where they grease my whole truck and change my oil well today my carrier berring for my drive shaft broke in half and done a lot of damage they should have saw that it was bad and crack wen they did the pm as there is a grease fitting right next to it I have pictures of everything I almost lost my life becuase of this I spend thousands of dollars at loves and this is the out come your mechanics is young and rush to get things done this should have never went unknown pm is called preventive maintenance and there job was not done if nothing is done about this I will b contacting a lauyer thank you

They fired people for reason either if your gonna have people running your stores at least make check on them or do them drug test if you really want for this store to be a better store start thru dealing with these issues.

Got in the shop about 11am air governor got it replaced. Mechanic stated that we needed a new compressor so had to take it to another shop that was 1 mile away. Mechanic found the air governor was not plugged in and the bolt that was replaced was a half an inch shorter than what was needed and if it was done the correct way we could have saved 298.74 and three hours of down time if it was done the right way.
Finally finished fixing truck at 530

Loves truck stop #529 I checked in for repairs of a light and air line I was told an hour and a half wait, first the mechanics said there were 2 trucks ahead of me but since I figured mine was a simple repair I was told to pull up along side the shop, one mechanic looked at the other and said you can get that real quick for him, the guy came out wrote up repairs and said I can take care of this right here next thing I see the same guy heading off with a steam cleaner to clean the fuel bays, the mechanics lied to me.. I asked when is shift change and will this affect getting me in in an hour and a half, he said shift change is at 15:00. Two and a half hours later I'm still sitting in the parking lot waiting for my courteous call by the way that call never came. Four and a half hours later while writing this complaint I still have not heard a word from the ship but I've seen many trucks come and go in and out of the shop.. This is not the first time either, thats why the complaint. The time before I was told they would get me right in until they remembered there shift would be over then they came out lied to me to keep from bringing me into the shop, I wasted 3 hours of my time that day, excuse me they wasted 3 hours of my time. When I finally got into the bay I went into the office only witness the mechanics complaining about first shift rather than getting to work on my truck. This is ridiculous on another occasion same scenario a relatively easy fix, I'm told yet again an hour and a half is how long repairs should take, the shop was completely empty there was no wait. The part I needed was a FAN BELT they didn't even have the part in stock, freightliner has they said, nope no they don't we'll have to get it elsewhere, three and a half hours later they finally finished, loves truck stops are you kidding me, your shops have become a joke.

We stopped to use the restrooms and get coffee. The restrooms are filthy. My husband is a truck driver and we always stop at Loves. As many Loves as we have been in, I have never seen a nasty restroom, or unconcerned employees. We told the cashier and he was very unconcerned. We won't be stopping at this Loves again. Someone needs to retrain all of these employees.

Love's truck stop # 553 this is what the men's bathroom looked like Sunday around 2pm very unacceptable with the COVID-19 going on. Corporate people would you use this men's bathroom but you want us to spend our money there. Would you use this bathroom look at the picture? Does your bathroom at the corporate office look this way? The fuel islands are so nasty you don't want to get out of truck to fuel. Trash cans are always full. This is where your loyalty stands to your wallet not your customers.
Illegally giving away merchandise
My mom and sister were at the loves truck stop. They had stopped to get drinks and snacks. Well when she noticed that one of the employees were giving away free drinks. Not scanning, or putting it into the computer but just putting it into a bag and giving it to the customer. I know this is illegal and against workers policy. I feel like he stole from the store and should be terminated immediately.
Denied shower usage
My husband and I work on the road 5-7 days a week and have always stopped at the Loves at the Port of Tacoma. We stopped Wednesday August 12th after being away for a few weeks and was told we could not pay for and use the showers unless we held a CDL. We were told this is because of vandalism being done at this site (not by us) I am outraged by this! There has got to be a better way to keep the vandals out then to discriminate against those without a CDL.
