LGrefrigerator not maintaining safe temperature

We purchased an LG French Door Refrigerator (LFNS22520S) 18 months before it started to fail. We have been trying to find a workable solution for the last month. LG support seems to be fully automated with little or no human intervention. I'm not surprised given the details available online by searching 'class action LG refrigerator'.

It appears the only satisfaction we will get from this very irritating purchase is to recommend to others to avoid the payola style review sites and relentless marketing for everything and just look for class actions and other areas that have terrific collections of real complaints from real people. If you don't find any, that is a good sign.
