On March 6, 2023 we had an LG service man come out and replace our compressor on the refrigerator. It was under warranty but we still had to pay $550.00. Repair took approximately 1 hour.
Move forward to Oct 26,2023, the freezer wasn’t freezing again, the ice maker wasn’t working again, so we contacted LG. One week later an LG repair man came out to see what the problem was.
He explained that the gentleman who came in March did not do the repair correctly and we’d been leaking Freon the entire time. He explained the last tech was fired for doing bad work and LG had received many complaints concerning him.
We paid for a service in March that wasn’t done correctly and was under warranty.
We were now charged another 553.00 when if it had been done correctly the first time, we would not have had this problem again.
We would like our money refunded since the problem was caused by a technician who didn’t do the job correctly the first time.
We paid for a service and didn’t get what we paid for.
