I purchased Ray Battery's at Home Depot on Comberland Parkway in Atlanta on November 22, 2022. The AAA batteries leaked and destroyed five led lanterns. They started to dim within two weeks. When checking the box purchased of 60 they were all corroded with acid and also leaking. I took them back and Home Depot and they refunded the amount paid. Home Depot took pictures of the battery's of a 60) pack and the damage to the lanterns and asked for help for damage replacement. Rayovac opened a case and wanted pictures. The pictures that the manager at Home Depot took on her phone. After speaking with the manager by phone the next day I had to bring in all five lanterns to show the damage for the opened case. Pictures were again taken to submit on the case but were not received by Rayovac. I made six trips to Home Depot. The manager had taken the pics on her personal phone because Home Depot did not supply a camera for defective returns. All ten requests were met and all ten of the requests requested by Rayovac were lost thru Home Depo. Though not Home Depots fault for the battery's all information for the case was lost by them and the batteries were disposed of by them. The box of batteries were all defective and corroded in acid and the damage caused was $179.62 for replacement. This is the new world we live in where defective batteries are not covered and you have no warranty. This case is still pending but I am very upset by the outcome and Home Depot. Sad Times when you don't stand by the products you sell.
