LG Electronics 60 inch television

I've had this tv less than three years and all of a sudden the screen goes blank after 5 seconds! Repair is gonna be to expensive as it needs a new panel. I can tell you this "last lg anything I'll ever buy! You'd think a tv like this would last more than 2 1/2 years ! So frustrating!🤬. Now, I'd rather buy another, better tv than pay for repairs and go a week without my tv!

LG Electronics Refrigerator

Refrigerator purchased at hhgregg with extended warranty, which was canceled prior to end date by service company as item deemed unfixable/faulty. Warranty refund minus repairs insufficient to replace unit. Still covered by lg original 5 year warranty, company customer support is awful, have gotten the run around and never gotten to the bottom of the issue after several service calls having to wait long periods in-between calls. During quarantine and pandemic, we have reliably not had a working refrigerator for two months. The technician documented "there were no error codes and the fridge is working," or it would have been possibly eligible for replacement. I have had a compressor replaced twice, along with internal components. From a fridge that was not cooling, to a fridge that is now freezing my groceries, I have lost so much money in food that I am totally disgusted. The item that is failing and causing issues is either related to the central sealed system or internal, but it has never been working right. We had repairs for the fridge running loud and banging in 2017, then continuous repairs over the last 2-3 months. The fridge has never given error codes even when totally not cooling, so documenting that was completely wrong by the technician. I have never had a company refuse to stand behind a product that was under warranty. Hopefully someone can help me with this issue or at least protect others from the same issue. I will never buy lg again! They just came out again and said everything checked out, but this is obviously not the case. My issue has changed from the unit not cooling and extreme fluctuations in temp to everything freezing regardless of what I do with settings. I spent $1700 on a fridge, I should have not had to have so many service calls early in the contract and now all the issues with cooling. It should have lasted longer than a few years.
I have contacted customer service so many times, they tell me I may be charged for the service call everytime they make an appointment even though the item is under the initial manufacturer warranty. It has been repaired so many times under an extended warranty that they canceled the warranty, now lg comes and replaces/fixes things or says everything is working out. Meanwhile, I have been having fridge issues for over 2 months during a pandemic and unable to keep food from going bad. I have called so many times and they just now finally offered to send me a check for some of the food losses over the last three repairs. I do not want them to give me a prorated refund, I just want my unit replaced with a reliable unit. This fridge has been fixed so many times during 2017 and now, it isn't right. They just told me its working and everything checked out, but I have had two food thermonmeters monitoring the temperatures and it is showing a 10-14 degree variation from the set temperatures.

LG Electronics French door bottom freezer refrigerator

We bought this refrigerator 5 years ago and I hate it! The glass shelves are held up with plastic ledges which collect any liquid that spills on the glass. It's extremely hard to clean these shelves. The large glass shelf in the bottom above the produce drawers has to be removed to clean it which is actually dangerous. All the shelves have plastic borders around the top edges making them bumpy so things don't slide to the edges well and fall when they hit border edge. The shelves on the doors have all broken with minimal pressure and are now duct taped. The bottom largest drawer roller on one side broke so the drawer is hard to slide out and in. Pathetic!

LG Electronics Lre30451sw - f-1 error

After using the self clean the f-1 error occurred. I see that there are many many many users with the same problem and nothing has been done! I don't have 500$ to fix this and now I can't cook!

😡

Is this for real? In top of pandemic and unemployment, now I can't cook and have to get a new range!

LG Electronics Product very poor workmanship

LG appliances complaint

To whom it may concern,

Let me start with advising every customer not ever to buy LG appliances.
On 10/14/2014 I bought a dishwasher - $ 716.87 total
Micro. - $ 299.00
Micro hood - $ 149.00
Range - $1799.00
3door LG ice/water - $2499.99

I was told that this investment is worth it since LG has a very good reputation.
The pic. I include will show how bad this advise was.
The ledger of the hood did fall on the ceramic cooking top 5 month ago. Since then it is glued back with tape.
The signs that help to select the right cooking plate on the right are long gone,
On the left - since I do not use those as often are fading slowly -
The signs on the fridge (water and ice) are fading as well.
But the best part is the ice machine - out of 20 tries it works 4 times.
In the first pic it worked - the 2. NOT.

LG Electronics Cell phone service

I left S. Korea in February and I have written the email address several times and asked that the service be cancelled but I keep getting responses asking me for original email. All the information needed was provided to cancel but the service still has not been cancelled. Cancel service now and stop fraudulently charging me for service. LG Electronics 65" smart tv

3/9/2017 - purchased a 65" LG LED Smart TV model: 65UH615A, Serial # 611RMJF2H540 from Sams Club, North Little Rock AR at approx $1000.00 .

4/25/2020, the TV died. Turned it on and get nothing but a Dark screen.
Problem seems to be the motherboard. Very unhappy with the LG Brand products. There is no way this TV should have gone out so soon. I have 4 other none LG tvs and I am the only person in my household. The TV I watch most is over 12 years old and never have had a problem with it. I am so very disappointed and am a very dissatisfied customer because I have made 3 LG purchases over a 2 year period ( refrigerator 2017, smart tv 2017, and an LG smart phone in 2018) all either went out or are having problems on or no later than 4/20/2020.
I am a highly dissatisfied customer and will not buy another LG purchase or refer anyone to the LG BRAND. I am writing a compaint regarding the refrigerator because this has cost me approx $3000.00.

To whom it may be concern
I would like to complain about the fact that I did lay by lg home theater at game zevenwacht mall in kuilsriver... After paid my all r4299. 00 on my lg dvd home theater, the store manager telling me the music system were sold to someone else. I was very upset as can see games store used my money for the owner interest. The store manager tried to phone all games stores but they were out of stock. I could only take my money back because all items were more than r4299 which I paid. Imagine this time of lock down I was gonna keep myself busy at home playing music... Games store should pay my money with interest... A store manager just tell me take your money we sorry about that, I was so disappointed for a poor management. I don't see myself buying any good to games store again... I think game store should stop their are lay bay, even u follow their terms and conditions. LG Electronics We have had two compressors burn out and the technician is telling us he can't locate where the leak is in the back of the refrigerator.

Our two-year-old refrigerator stopped working two weeks ago. After calling LG and having to wait almost a week for an authorized service technician to come out, we were told the LG's were having compressor problems. After waiting almost another week to get a new compressor installed along with related parts, in less than 12 hours the same thing happened and the refrigerator stopped working. The technician who has been here now for 2 1/2 hours is telling us that he can't locate where the moisture is coming from in the back wall of the refrigerator which is burning the compressors out. We are being told we need to call LG, but we have been trying for 3 days to call then and they have shut down their call centers so we are not getting any response from them at all. We are going into our third week without a refrigerator and are very frustrated and angry that we cannot get any resolution to this problem. This will definitely be our last LG product, which up until this point we thought were okay. We would like LG to step up to the plate and address this issue and if they can't, we need a replacement ASAP.

LG Electronics Refrigerator and customer support services

I have a LG refrigerator that died on March 8, 2020. This is the second time in 2 years for the exact problem, the compressor. I called LG only to have to cycle through numerous connections before reaching refrigerator service support. The first support person hung up on me. The second person I spoke with got me headed in the right direction but not a direct connect to the correct support staff. I finally got hold of the correct service support staff for refrigerators after 35 minutes. We went through the normal process of model and serial number validation and then performed a reset method that didn't work, support finally requested service support authorization on March 9, 2020. I was told they (who ever in the hell ‘they' are) would contact me about an appointment date and time. ‘They' never called. I had to call to find out my service date. ‘They' gave me an appointment date for March 14, 2020 as an all-day scheduled appointment. That means ‘they' had to squeeze me into their schedule, hence, why the service tech never showed up.
So, now we have been without our refrigerator for 6 days which will turn into 8 days because a tech won't get here before Monday the 16th. So, what I am left with is $2000.00, 600 lb. paper weight soon to be a YouTube video on how many bullets it will hold. If you are smart you will walk by every LG product you see as I will. I will also be replacing all my LG products in the house, slowly but surely, they will be gone.

LG Electronics Not rinse or dry

My LG washine machine top loader 10.5 kg brought from abans Kandy sri Lanka.past three years it works well.but suddenly past two weeks a go.once switch on machine work and then water fill then suddenly water start to drain.it is not rinse or dry.so how could I solve this issue.we have service center in Kandy abans but they charge huge amount to service and even they not service well.so please advise if any possibilities that I can solve this issue.thank you so much

LG Electronics Service issues

I purchased a brand new LG washing machine last july and in January of this year ( 2020), the machine starting making noises. I called LG and they scheduled a service call for a tech to come out and have a long and repair my washer, no tech showed up. I then called again and scheduled another appointment for the following week, the tech should up and looked over the machine ( about an hour at my house), he said he could hear the issue but could not find where it was coming from, no repair done ( at this point I'm still able to wash my clothes). 2 weeks later I called to see what LG was going to do about the persisting problem, they sent the same tech out again to replace the transmission and motor, the tech spent an hour and a bit replacing these parts and upon a test cycle ( no clothes in machine) the noise was still there, I waited a couple of days and went to do my laundry and that's when I was now unable to use the machine as it was giving error codes for the motor. Called back LG and another service call was scheduled, no one showed up again, I called back and scheduled another appointment for the following week, which then got rescheduled for a day later for who knows what reason ( none was given), same tech came out and switched the motor, but same issues were present. So now I'm at 4 and a half weeks with no washer to wash my families clothes, I was told that when i called back in that my machine will be exchanged but needs to be approved first and that i would have to call in the following week to see if it got approved, I called this week on Tuesday and was told that its approved and was given a DRN # to call the store with and then they will exchange the machine, nope that did not work as the store did not recieve any information from LG. It is now thursday and the store still has not recieved any information as I have called both LG and the store multiple times each day to try and figure this out. I was promised on my last phone call with LG's RA department that I would be receiving and email with the information by days end, yep you guessed it... its past days end and no email. Now almost 6 weeks and no action by LG to get me a replacement machine and I've just been given the run around. Can someone please help?

LG Electronics Refrigerator

We started with issues with this refrigerator back in November. It has been repaired 4-5 times and we have been without a fridge each time. FINALLY...we got it (supposedly) fixed the week after Christmas. Also, we have the holiday dinners here at our home and we had approximately 30 people with no fridge. To say the least...steam was rolling from my ears! On Monday, FebruRY 24, I went to o9pen the door of the fridge and AGAIN, wa ater was running on the floor and the items in the fridge were beginning to defrost. AGAIN, we loaded everything up and took it to our garage. I placed a service call AGAIN and was told I could not have a tech come to look at it until Friday, February 28th. REALLY? The service tech even advised each time he has been here that they fix one thing on these LG items and then something else goes out. If this is going to continue to occur, it is totally unacceptable. I have even told customer service this each time and they don't give a darned! Your product and your customer service is totally ridiculous and I will never own another LG product. Why can't they fix it? As much money as we paid for this junk, we have never been offered anything for our troubles, an apology or anything else. I've NEVER seen such a worthless company to do business with. I have even asked for managers to call me back and of course, no response! We want this fixed or a new fridge. We are tired of messing with. it! It should also be noted, that we have also previously had a new ice maker put in when it was approximately 1-2 years old. I would hope that SOMEONE in your company could be of some assistance. Everytime I place a service call, it's at least a week before we can get help. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

LG Electronics Fridge

I am having LG fridge which was purchased in Nov 2018. It is lying faulty since last 20 days. I have already booked complain on customer care, Mr Pankaj visited the site he told me to come back next day with the faulty hardware and asked for Rs 600/- as visit charge which I paid immediately. After that 15 days has passed he neither visited the site nor attending the call. This is the the second time I am facing irresponsible behavior by the service center. Last time my problem was solved after 3 months that too after several perchance. This behavior is not at all tolerable. You are running such a big company but your staff are a blot you company's name. It seemes that you and your management personals are inefficient to run the company, so you should close the company right now. If my fridge is not repaired by today I am bound to go to the consumer court.

LG Electronics 60" 4k hdr smart led uhd tv : model uk6090pua: still in box never open: damage screen: cracked

Good Afternoon. Bolden Elementary Middle School: Located at 260 Elliot Dr
Beaufort South Carolina is a new school and has been operating for 6 months.
Herald Office Solutions: located at 708 North First Ave, Dillon, South Carolina. purchased the damage HD Smart TV : Serial Number 60UK6090PUAAUS. This product was stored within the location of Bolden EMS, the box show no signs of damage and was still enclosed. The installer arrived at Bolden EMS last week, ( Feb 12 2020) to install the Television. They open the seal box and removed the TV, and the screen was cracked when they removed the television from the box. This television was never removed from the box until the time of the insolation . Please inform us, ( Bolden EMS ) if the television is still cover by the warranty. I am asking this question because this purchase was a contractual purchase for a Government School. Herald Office Solution, was still in the process of fulfilling their obligation to the Government Contract, which required them to finish installing this television. LG Electronics refrigerator model - lfxs30726s

we purchased this model refrigerator in march of 2015 and it stopped working properly in august 2016. The appliance company we bought it from replaced that refrigerator on 9/20/2016.

on february 16th, 2020 the current unit was no longer cooling and we had to empty the refrigerator to save the food inside thanks to our gracious neighbors and sister in law who were able to help us out.

the refrigerator was checked out by larson mechanical ( brian larson - 541-389-4404) and we were told the compressor was out of freon that had leaked out of a coupling that connected two different types of tubing.The compressor was not working too.

We decided to purchase a new refrigerator because we did not want to invest any more money, time or inconvenience into the lg model since we owned two lg units that lasted not quite five years total. we would expect such an important appliance to last ten years minimum.

I would like you to know we are no longer happy with the lg brand and would like a payment of half of what we just spent to get a new refrigerator,
$1799.00 on sale for president's day. i will send that receipt when i hear back from you,

I see there are many people with the same type of problem.

LG Electronics french door refrigerator

I have an LG French Door Refrigerator, Model LFX31925, which is still under warranty.

Seven days ago the compressor went out. I called LG Customer Support. They referred me to their authorized service center in Tucson, AZ, ATS. I called ATS and was told that ATS no longer services LG. I called LG again and was referred to another service center in Tucson, Steve Martin Appliance. I called Steve Martin Appliance and was told they they do not service LG nor do they service Sierra Vista--where I live. I called LG again. I was told if the appliance center which is located in Sierra Vista would submit an application, LG would authorize them to service my LG refrigerator. This was done. The local appliance center is KG's Appliance.
LG told me that they were approved. The service technician came out and confirmed that it was a bad compressor.

I called LG again and was given a run-around. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She said she would have to confirm what I had related regarding the compressor with KG's. I asked her, after she talked to KG's, to have the compressor delivered directly to my house and to call me back with the delivery date of the compressor. I have never received a call from the supervisor or anyone else from LG.

Now, seven days later, I called LG AGAIN. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The person I was speaking to would not give me a chance to describe the problem. I asked him to stop talking and listen to my problem. He hung up on me.

How can I get a new compressor and when can I get it? All I have been asking for is the compressor--not the lost food nor the cost to install the compressor. Do I have to ask for these things too in order to get the attention of someone who can help resolve my problem? Or, do I have to pursue other avenues to resolve the problem? PLEASE RESPOND!

LG Electronics refrigerator bought at the end of 2017

Not 6 months after the refrigerator was delivered the plastic housing around the ice dispenser started literally chipping away. There are only two of us in the house and there was absolulely nothing that we did to cause the damage. LG sent a techncian out and the problem was taken care of. Not even a year later and the SAME EXACT THING IS HAPPENING.

It's a $400 repair because the whole unit has to be replaced. Even though it's the SAME problem and obviously a parts malfunction issue, they are telling us there is no recourse for us to take. This is pure extortion. They know they have a bad part but won't stand behind it or help in any way.

I called their support line at the end of January 2020 and was told that they took care of the issue once and basically "too bad lady". The customer rep was just borderline rude. Now I have a perfectly working refrigerator that looks like it's been through the war.

On top of that they have a lock on the repair market and it took 5 calls to talk to anyone who would even consider servicing it. This isn't right. It says alot about the company.

LG Electronics lg washer wt7800cw

I purchased this machine brand new from Best Buy an 11 15 19 the machine came and we used it a few times and it would not break down the laundry pods or wash beads so then we tried as they said in their help section to adjust load size laundry came out sopping wet and still dirty and the Machine made all sorts of noise Best Buy would not take the machine back because it was beyond the 15-day return policy. Finally call the Geek Squad they said LG covers their stuff for the first year . LG sent out a service tech who pulled apart the machine and noticed that parts were missing . These factory parts are noted in one of their bulletins they send their providers. He ordered the parts they told him February 29th 2020 before it would be off backorder. I called LG and confirm that and requested a return authorization they said it takes 7 days but I had to scramble to get all my receipts and everything emailed over to them. I did that and then after 7 Days contacted them for my return authorization they denied it and said it takes another five days then kept jerking me around I ended up having to buy a new machine because after 20 days without a washing machine and spending money on getting my laundry done was stupid I informed them of that and they still jerk me around and would not give me an RA on day 30 apart arrives call them and ask them where's my R A I do not want this thing your service sucks. I informed you on the 17th of January that I was buying a new machine on the 18th and did not want this piece of crap. I was told a representative would contact me no one ever called me back it took me to call them back on the 25th to ask him where the hell my RA was so I can get the Junck out of my house they told me I was not getting one and that the part was delivering that day I said I don't want your garbage and what good is it anyways if it's not in the machine they never scheduled a tech to come out they never contacted me that the part was shipped . They just screw their customers and have no care for their customers. LG is the worst company I've ever heard of for support and do not truly guarantee their product. Best Buy does not back or take care of their customers either. I told them I did not want the machine I wanted to cancel my 5 year warranty with them because I am planning to sue LG for my money for the machine they told me they would have to prorate the warranty. Life is good at LG I guess because we the consumer keep buying there garbage until we get burned. CNN200107898711 is the service Number LG gave me incase they want to verify.

LG Electronics lg tv led ios 602 49 inch smart

Dear sirs
My name is Mohamed Mohamed Hamada Mahmoud, mobile # +20 [protected]
I've perchased this TV set from a department store in Egypt (Hyper one) on 30/10/2016 (about 3years agoo!)
It was fantastic and fulfilling all my needs but
The last few months I experienced degradation in picture which is figured out as a stains of yellow or gray areas in 3 places of the screen.
Hence, I contacted the LG Egypt company who is supposed to give customer support (https://www.lg.com/eg_ar).
After many advices and remedy proposals including sending picture shots of the screen I didn't get any improvement.
They sent a technicien at home to realize the proplem at a designated fee (EGP 91.00) and he concluded that the back led lights should be replaced with new ones!
The technicien reported the case and they called me by phone to tell me that the cost of repair will be EGP 2600.00 ( yes two thousands and six hundred pounds!)
I felt that this cost is highly exagurated especially that tho original price of the set was EGP 5200.00!
I used to get LG Products since it was Goldstar 30 years agoo, but I never experienced such case of performance degradation which sffects a great company sound reputation by a local Agent who is responsible for manufacturing the product locally in low standard and impose high costs to repair his own made!

I've purchased the st on 30/10/2016 (about three years ago) and it was really fantastic and fulfilling all my needs.
The last few months I experienced distortion in the pucture with some stains in 3 places on the screen which change the original colours of the picture as orange or grey stain areas!
I contacted the local agent (https://www.lg.com/eg_ar) who is supposed to be responsible about technical support.
And after many calls and complaints they proposed some actions but in vain said that it is out of warranty date and sent me a specialized technicien at a designated fee (EGP 91.00) and due to his test he informed me that the LED backlight should be replaced and so he reported to his subordinates about his findings!
The company called me later and informed me that the repair would cost EGP 2600.00 ( yes two thousand and six hundred Egyptian pounds!
This shocked me because the original price of the set was only EGP 5200.00! So how it come like this?!
I knew that these sets was made locally licenced from yous esteemed company and they affect negatively on the big name of LG KOREA.
I used to utilise LG products since more than 25 years and I never experienced a performance degradation like this!
So I hope you would take the necessary action to fix the proplem and the behavior of the local company which may ruin you great company name!
