LabCorp 3rd world medical care

Lab Corp 4 N Pine Island Rd Cape Coral, FL. My appt was 10 am, I showed at 8:30, I left at 12. Most people without appointments were let right in. I will never go there again. English is the second language and whoever the staffing manager is, should be relieved of their responsibilities. I was told they book 4 appointments ever 15 minutes, with two phelobotomaists that would mean, they have 7.5 minutes per patient to get the needle in, the blood out, and the paperwork done. WTF, get some accountability for a very poor display of healthcare.

Recommendation: go to quest

LabCorp Stay away from LabCorp

This company has no regard for its customers. Despite having an appointment, i was not seen until almost 2 hours later. As I have to work, I had left. The waiting room was standing room only and only 3 techs working. No one at reception to ask a question of. No consideration for patients who weee fasting. Why hive appointments if they mean nothing?

Recommendation: Stay away from LabCorp

LabCorp Do not trust online site

I made an appointment online for the Alston Ave, Ft. Worth.
Received a confirmation, drove there and checked in from my car, received another notification that I was checked in and to wait for a text to begin my appt.
Waited 15 minutes in vehicle and decided to go in. Found a note on Lab Corp’s door stating they closed at noon for the day. My appt was set for 1:15.
I met others there that came for an appt, after noon, also.
No notice on Lab Corp’s site while making appt, or when I called and spoke with a rep to check hours, who stated regular hours on New Year’s Eve.
Get it together Lab Corp.

Recommendation: Not certain how to avoid; online and call with live rep both inaccurate.

LabCorp Violate their own written online policy

Today I tried to view my lab results. As per LabCorps written online policy and the law, test results are to be made available at the same time the doctor gets them. This was how it was in the past. However, the last two times I had tests done, I was not given my results in a timely manner. This is what I saw on my results page: Upcoming 08/01/2024 Available on: 08/07/2024, 10:08 AM This report has already been sent to your physician.

Right above all that is their written policy: Results are delivered to your Labcorp Patient account at the same time they are reported to the ordering healthcare provider.

If you contact them via online link (there's no way to talk to a person), you'll get a canned response about results will be available when finalized. LIE! The results have already been released to the doctor, so those are the results, they aren't going to be changed.

What can a patient do? They just continue to violate laws, and abuse customers. Check online about the violation of privacy they've done, releasing personal information to others.

LabCorp Labcorp sucks

The stafff is rude. We have had to wait for hours to get blood drawn. We have a standing order for every month and every single month they claim not to have the order. Last month we had to go in 3 times because they said they could not find the order. Today same thing. I got mad and this system is incompetent. Once we provide them with the order they should download into their system so we don't have to keep going through this every month. My husband said this is BS and they told us to leave and never come back. The office girl is new and full of attitude. I asked her name and she refused. I asked to speak to her boss and conveniently the boss is not there. I called to make a complaint to the complaint department. I was put on hold a long time and then hung up on. These guys are unprofessional and its no wonder their staff is always turning over.

Recommendation: Go some place else.

LabCorp Excellent results from Lab Corp through Walgreens

It was a great relief to get my lab results just a little over 24 hours after I submitted my sample at my local Walgreens in Albuqueruqe, NM! I was put in a real bind by another lab, Pathology Consultants of New Mexico (with whom I had made prior arrangements), who failed to be open on the day I was REQUIRED to submit my sample for Covid testing so I could have surgery later in the week. But Lab Corp staff and technicians came through for me as well as my local Walgreens who collected my sample.

I understand some who have gone to a local Lab Corp to have lab work done have had problems, but their service through Walgreens was outstanding! So, I recommend if your local Walgreens uses Lab Corp for Covid testing, give it a try!

LabCorp Laurel MD Labcor[

This place is a JOKE! It doesn't matter that I had an appointment, I had to wait ? hour. Why? Because the only phlobtomist working was stuck at the front desk doing walk-in registrations. The phlebotomist apologized to everybody waiting, telling everybody that Labcorp had fired all the registration staff a few months ago. The phlebotomist expressed concern that there is now only 1 person in the building in the early mornings and late afternoons and that was a real safety issue. Management told them never to tell the patients that they were in the building alone. They even suggested that we use Quest in the future! Such poor service, I'm writing a letter to the editor of the Laurel Leader. I wonder if the other location are just as bad.

LabCorp Review of Labcorp in Flemington NJ

I go to this lab often since the onset of the pandemic and I must say they have handled the appts without a hitch. I "always" make an appt and check-in from my car to limit the time in the office and exposure to others. It has worked out perfect. Average time in the office is about 15 mins from start to finish and I really appreciate this. I want to make a special shout out to one technician in particular, Dipti, she is a very hard worker and a great multi-taker. She wears many hats and really deserves the praise. I hope you recognize this because without her I am not sure how this office could run and stay open. I would be very disappointed if for some reason this office were to shut down.
Thank you Dipti, for taking such good care of me through a very trying time for so many!

LabCorp Blood works Experience

I went to labcorp in East Orange and they stick me 6 times say that they can't find my veins and recommend if I go to another location and give me the Lady name who works with labcorp for 30 years at the labcorp in ferry street Newark her name is Ilsa oh my goodness this woman is so professional it's not funny I told her what happened at the other locations I go and she said don't will be done today, the Lady just clean the area and feel for the pulse and boom the blood start coming out in a second she is done, i could not believe it I hope labcorp paying this lady handsomely, because most of the other locations like in East Orange when they can't handle their cases they are sending it to t this lady to do it I am talking base in my experience, Ilsa thanks so much I couldn't stop talking about you today I appreciate you a lot.

LabCorp Best blood draw ever

Just wanted to say I went to the labcorp at 108th ave and Mcdowell in Avondale, Az. I got there at 6:30 am, they open at 7am, there were 6 people in line before me. Before they opened though, a lady came out and took our lab orders inside, which made it even faster. Once inside you registered on a computer that you were there. I was called back in about 10 minutes or so, very quickly. The tech Elizabeth was the one who drew my blood, very personable and very nice lady. I have to say I have had hundreds of blood draws because of Cancer and I have lots of scar tissue so normally a blood draw hurts quite a bit. I was actually waiting for the stick and Elizabeth said all done. This was the best blood draw I have ever had, I never felt one thing at all. Elizabeth is the best and hope you can pass the kudo's on to her, she deserves all of that and a raise also. Thanks. Dave S.

LabCorp PCR Results in time

I went to a Patient First in Catonsville which I assumed Liaison with LabCorp. I got a PCR to fly on Saturday around 9:15 Am. I was scheduled to travel Monday morning at 10:45 am for Ethiopia. I was so worried since I usually do PM Pediatrics and if I go in the morning the PCR results will be there in the evening around 7 pm. My results came 4AM Monday morning. I'm happy and on my way. I would've been really sad if I didn't get it because for International travel you have to be within 72 hours. I would've been pushing it if I did it on Friday. Sometimes you have a layover in Europe and could be over the 72 hour limit so we must get it at the 48 hour mark. I hope this helps. We run a travel company and we've had cases where people get their flights 72 hours and get stranded. I did send an email to Labcorp in hopes that they could get me settled by this morning. I hoped that helped them expedite my results. The Doctor there coincidentally was from Ethiopia himself.

LabCorp Great Team and Great Customer Service

Whenever my parents need a blood works done we always go to Labcorp Monterey Ave Palm Desert because of Carlos and his team (Maria, Shona and Gary). They are friendly in this location at *** monterey ave palm desert ca ***. Carlos is the best. He is a nice person and very friendly. I had my Mom visit today for a routine blood works Shona was the person that took her blood and she is gentle she is a pro in this job my Mom says "no pain" she is good. All of them in this location is nice and friendly. They are all professional in this field and they know how to poke gently and painless. The reasons why my parents follow them whenever location they are. Even though they have a small space in this location Carlos Maria Shona work as a team today. In addition the employee at this walgreen location they also greet all the time you enter the store. It helps a lot to have a good vibes and good day. Happy employee means happy at work. Great work and kudos to all of you guys. Thank you so much. I am Geraldine daughter of Imelda patient of Dr Agarwal. Have a great day

LabCorp Blood Work: The Experience By Veena Laks

Today I went to the Lab Corp in Somerset, NJ and I must admit, I was quite anxious. You see, usually when I need to get my blood drawn, it takes a long while because my veins are rather elusive and are quite good at evading needles, just like Trump is with his taxes. As I was waiting for the person to come in and do the test, I was going through all these various scenarios in my mind. My heart was racing. Were they going to stab the needle in my arm repeatedly? What if they couldn't find the vein? What if they keep me there for 3 hours? I couldn't take it anymore. I suddenly felt the urge to run out of the establishment because I was riddled with so much anxiety. Luckily, the person came in and immediately soothed me. I guess you could say she calmed my nerves (Get it? Nerves? Veins? Haha). Within minutes, she was easily able to find the vein on my left arm and draw my blood. I was in disbelief! This has never happened to me before! I couldn't believe my eyes. What a pleasant surprise this was! I knew immediately after I saw the blood leave my body that I had to write a review about this mesmerizing experience. The name of the flawless individual who drew my blood was Kamini, and I will forever be grateful for her. Her expertise is unparalleled, and she will always have a soft spot in my heart that now has to compensate for the blood that was lost. Thank you, Kamini. I wouldn't have been able to do this without your tender care and precision.

LabCorp Appointment At Labcorp 85-21 126th St Kew Gardens, NY 11415

This Morning I Went For My Appointment I Kew Gardens Blood Works At 8:10 am For My 8:30 Appointment I saw A Total Of 8 Person There. No Patient Comes Go For any Blood Works. So I Inquire What Was Going On And I Get To Learn The Person That Take The Blood Wasn't There Yet. Now What should I Do I Have To Be At Work By 9am I Find From My First Experience That The Result Of Test Done Before Was Not Accurate So I Went To A Company And The Result Was Different. I Think This Company Does Not Respect People TIME And HEALT.

Recommendation: Make Sure U Have Time To Spar and Retake Your Test With Anther Company

LabCorp Labcorp at the Quarry in Baltimore

I arrived very early for my appointment, needing to be at my office for my own patients. The workers at Labcorp did not have the same commitment - they arrived after 8am, their opening time, breezily saying "We hit traffic" to the 5 of us sitting on the floor in the hallway waiting for them. When we came in, they said 'if you need help, knock on the window (they have a one-way mirror window that slides, for customer service). I waited my turn, but found out when I went in that the phlebotomist was lacking one of the orders for my labwork. I asked if I could call the doctor's office, saying it would only take me a minute, but he said no, I would have to return to the waiting room. I complied, and it truly did take me only a minute - the doctor's staff told me they were faxing the order over immediately. I then sat in the waiting room for 15 minutes while the staff saw all other patients in there, let them all go, but still did not come out to me. So I knocked on the window, as instructed. There was no answer. I knocked on the door, to which there was no answer. By this time, they knew I was the only patient in the office.It definitely felt as if they were deliberately treating me in this manner, and it relates to the fact that I am of minority racial identity. AT this point, I slid the window open - there was no-one behind it, and I called in to the office "Hello? Anybody here?" A woman came out yelling at me that I have no right to slide the window, I should 'sit back down'. I then argued, saying that they were ignoring me, and did not respond to my knocking on the window or door. At this both of them started yelling at me, telling me they will call the police on me, I have not right to 'be rude', and they started calling to someone to complain about me, speaking loudly to let me know they were doing this, totally misstating everything that had happened. At this point I left, since I had to get to work, and I did not want to be further abused by them. This is an office that utterly mistreats its patients (other patients told me that they had arrive at 8am another time, to the staff arriving only at 8:30), and treats people like cattle. They should be out of business.

LabCorp Requesting my bloodwork results and given the run-around and refusing to give it to me

Requesting my bloodwork results and given the run-around and refusing to give it to me.

First email stating my portal account address does not match my address on my lab work so they can't give it to me. Yet the ones cited in the email are the exact same.
I responded by pointing out that they are both the same do they not read the email and yes to send it via email then too.
And following day and email from labcorp stating my results have now been added to my account (merged), yet when I go there, there is nothing again!

Desired outcome: I WANT MY BLOODWORK RESULTS FROM LAST WEEK!

LabCorp Staff member Janine harrased me outside of LabCorp

Time Of Incident: Around 11:40 am
Location: Walmart Yucca Valley, Ice Cream Isle

I went to Walmart to get ice cream. When I approached the ice cream section, I saw Janine, a staff member of Labcorp in Yucca Valley, pushing her cart towards me. She yelled at me: "Wrong lane !" and forced me to get out of her way. "I'm not at work here now [censored] !" she yelled, then she began to take a lot of ice cream from the freezer. I waited. When it seemed she was done, I approached the freezer as well, to get ice cream. She yelled at me: "Back off ! Don't get near me !". Then she moved on, showing me her middle finger, yelling "[censored] you ! [censored] you !". I told her she will regret what she did and showed her my middle finger as well. She yelled "[censored] you, [censored] you" repeatedly, until she turned the corner.

Janine has a personal vendetta against me, because she turned my arm black and blue when she was unable to draw blood. This was many years ago. I complained about her. There were a few incidents involving her unprofessional behaviour toward me at Labcorp after that. Nothing as bad as today. Today, I was very shocked to see how vulgar she was acutally, even triumphing that she was "not at work". Apparently she believed she could unleash her hatred in an uncontrolled fashion at me "outside of work".
I know that Walmart has cameras. I spoke with the manager and told her what happened. She said the incident was a harrassment case, and I should file a report with the Sheriff. The Sheriff would view the camera recording after obtaining my report. I have a time-stamped Walmart shopping receipt, which the Sheriff can use to find the video recording section.

This is my report, which I am presenting to the Sheriff. I am very concerned about this incident, as Janine's hatred and retalotary attack on me today was very threatening. I am trusting my health to Labcorp, where I get all my laboratory tests done. Now that I know how hateful and vindictive Janine is towards me, I will report this also to the Executive Office of Labcorp and request an investigation. I do not want her to jeapardize my laboratory business with Labcorp in any way. I feel she is a threat, unprofessional, and should be monitored. She may have done this to other patients as well. She is a very disturbed person, I found out today.

Desired outcome: LabCorp may want to replace Janine.

LabCorp Lab screening

I want this review to be positive. Linda and Z and Sam are a great combo working at the tucson 698 E.Wetmore office. I must add, I found my way to East Wetmore having fiven up hope and leaving te La Rocchell. Tucson office. By comparison, the feeling at the Wetmore office gave the feeling tthat staff was working for the patient, not signalling out preferred patients and not quietly mssaging the waiting list. In short, the staff at the Wetmore Office should be gettng a five star rating. I sincerely wish I could.

LabCorp Injury

Halland and Agoura Hills CA labcorp discriminate & either one don't think in my condition I can ask.for a pediatric needle.and I now had a second and new injury, threw up and was crying out and she never stopped during the draw.

February of this year and my last blood draw were opportunities for experienced lab techs who only want to get the job done a d move I to the next however an injury to multiple.needles happened just last year and has made me.even more.suseptable and the deep pain in the vein has not gone away after two weeks

Why did I have to say "is that a pediatric needle" going back for another order when the lab tech was going for the adult needle last Tuesday and when she knew I was having a problem? Was this something management circumvented ? If so here is my official complaint.

LabCorp Customer service at the media, pa 19063 labcor

The customer service at labcorp for blood work in media pa 19063 is absolutely awful to say the least. I was there 10/2/24 at 12 pm. After waiting quite a while I walked to the desk and ask the woman why 2 people went ahead of me. She asked me my name. I told her. She said we called your name. I said i’m sitting right in front of you did not call my name. She said, “not my problem”. She then said”what do you need a bull horn.” do you believe someone would talk to a patient that way. Is that how you train your employees?
So unprofessional to say the least.
I will never ever go to lab corp. Again. I will always use quest. I believe they are much more kind and professional.

Desired outcome: Train you clerk with respect and professionalism!! They’re the absolute worst people I gave ever met. I will never go back there.

LabCorp LabCorp failing to provide refund

My husband went for annual routine bloodwork on 02/02/204 at LabCorp. We were billed $103.50 which I assumed was our responsibility. I paid in full using my FSA account through Horizon MyWay (I have Horizon BCBS of New Jersey coverage).

I later discovered that the bloodwork should have been included in my coverage (I was told it was a "coding error"). LabCorp was promptly contacted in mid-May, and they confirmed for accuracy and indicated a refund check would be issued. This was in May.

It is now 08/08, and I am still awaiting the refund. I was initially told a paper check was mailed to my insurance company (to be deposited in my FSA account) on 06/28, then 07/03, then 07/11. I called LabCorp yesterday with Horizon BCBC and was advised by Jeffery Conrad, Patient Customer Service Supervisor, and he advised that apparently the check was never sent. He was given instructions to contact Horizon MyWay to maybe consider an electronic transfer to expedite a quick resolution. Jeffery Conrad's e-mail is [protected]@labcorp.com

I found out today that he did contact HorizonMyWay but only advised a check was mailed via USPS (no additional information provided). That contradicts my conversation with him yesterday when he told us the check was never mailed. Good grief!

I must have spoken to LabCorp 20+ times since May. Every time I call I get a different answer. I find this unacceptable, and if they do it to me, they do it to others. I would like resolution. I can be reached at [protected].

My case is quite simple - a refund due to me for payment of a service that is covered under my health plan. LabCorp agreed I am due a refund and they claim they are sending a check...a check no one ever receives. I would be happy to provide whatever documentation is required.

Claimed loss: 103.50

Desired outcome: I would just like for them to issue the reimbursement to me directly or HorizonMyWay. They keep on telling me a check has been sent....but months have gone by and nothing.

LabCorp has turned a straightforward refund into an ongoing headache. You've been impressively persistent in chasing down what’s rightfully yours, only to encounter conflicting stories at every turn. The following incident happened today at LabCorp, located at 2477 Tim Gamble Pl. Ste. 102, Tallahassee, FL, 32308, Phone: [protected] Fax: [protected]. I was the first person admitted into the lab at 6:30 AM; I checked-in the LabCorp system by scanning my driver license and was the first person called by the receptionist. The receptionist could not find my standing order so, I immediately called the UF Shands Liver Transplant Hospital. They faxed my standing order to LabCorp and the fax was received by the supervisor (called Kimberly) around 7:45 AM. Still my name was not called by a Labcorp lab technician so, I talked with Kimberly around 8:30 AM and explained to her that I am a liver transplant recipient and that I must take my anti-rejection medications at 8:00 AM (and that I was already exceeding this time-limit, waiting for a Labcorp technician to call me). Still, they kept me waiting until 8:45 AM and once again I talked to Kimberly and asked her if she understood the concept of TRIAGE. I took my medications at 8:45 AM and told Kimberly that taking my medications would invalidate the blood test, because I must do the blood test while fasting. I told her that I would file a complaint against her for gross negligence. My purpose here is NOT for her to lose her job. My purpose is to have Labcorp train their lab personnel better about the concept of triage, and that some situations have precedence over others. I would appreciate it if someone representing the leadership at LabCorp contact me, so that I can get some feedback from you to make sure that something is done about this issue. This should be an important caveat in your protocol about attending to your customers’ needs. Thank you.

LabCorp LabCorp Bothell - never

I moved from California to Washington about a month ago. I have been using LabCorp throughout my time in California and with the move I suggested to my doctor that we keep it that way. So, my doctor forwarded the test order to the LabCorp in Bothell.
FACTS:
On the 4th of June I was at Bothell's laboratory and presented myself for the exams. My blood and urine were collected, and I received a bag with a bottle to collect the feces and I was told that I should put my name and date of birth on the bottles.
Today on the 6th when I returned, I couldn't leave my samples because the order could not be found. After a long time, I discovered that inside the bag I received with the bottles and other objects to do the collection, there should be a paper describing my exam. I simply discarded it because I was not instructed to bring it back. But it certainly shouldn't be a problem finding my order.
After more than an hour with no solution for my case, I asked to speak with the Supervisor/Manager and then I was directed inside the lab. It was clear that they didn't want the people in the lobby to know that my test order had been lost.
Upon entering, an employee named Brooklyn asked me to see my samples and I showed her inside a plastic bag, and she tried to take it out of my hand, which I obviously stopped her.
It was then that this woman started screaming saying that I would have assaulted her and that she would call the police.
Calmly I decided to sit and wait for the police, as I had nothing to fear if Brooklynn called the police, but the receptionist (Josephine) kept trying to resolve the issue of losing my exam order. That's when Brooklyn, seeing that I hadn't been intimidated by the threat of calling the police, gave up. She lost control even more and become a hysterical person, getting totally out of control, red, gasping and walking in circles and repeating insults nonstop to my person. Several times I was forced to be blunt with Brooklyn and even rude to her, in order to try to continue the conversation with the receptionist.
After an hour and a half, I was already afraid that my samples would no longer serve for analysis, I decided to leave, leaving my phone number with the receptionist and leaving Brooklynn even more hysterical.
CONSIDERATIONS:
1. I had to discard the samples because I was told they shouldn't be refrigerated, and I already had them out of the fridge for over an hour.
2. My appointment to review my exams will be on Monday and due to the total disorganization of the laboratory, I will not be able to present all the results that my doctor expects.
3. My doctor sent the exam request (several) to LabCorp, how can LabCorp not find this request, in the past two days before I received instructions to do that exam?
4. Could it be that such disorganization only happens in the order area? Or can it also happen in other areas? Could it be that my samples were lost, and, in their place, others were analyzed? Will my results be my own or will they be someone else's?
5. Will this disorganization be in all LabCorp units in the Seattle Area or is it specific to this unit?
6. Should a person as unbalanced as Brooklyn be working with people in a health facility?
After two operations and 6 months of chemotherapy, during the next 5 years I will have to do several tests from time to time and the least I hope is that this happens in a place that I trust and that I don't need to stress more.
Unfortunately, due to all the facts described, LabCorp is neither a trustworthy nor a friendly place in my current understanding.
I hope LabCorp will review its procedures preventing more people from having the same feeling as I do today.

LabCorp WORST CAREER CHOICE OF MY LIFE

I began working at LabCorp right as COVID-19 began. I was hired for a Massachusetts site for second shift. Instead of company delaying my start they had me driving to a different site, in a different state, different shift everyday. This made scheduling any appointment impossible. Still, I hung in there. I was placed for 3 weeks at a location where Spanish was the first language of coworkers. I am not Spanish, I don't speak Spanish. Since COVID-19 was at its peak we just sat there for hours. Two Spanish women had bluetooth device on their ears, and were FACETIMINING their friends, speaking loudly in Spanish all day. Any sort of VIDEO Chat, video recording is strictly prohibited by HIPPA. When patients would come in they could be seen and heard discussing personal medical info by whomever was on the phone. All this occurring while I was taking an online course about work ethics, and workplace harassment. The main topic of the course was "It is considered unethical or harassment to continously speak to one employee in a language that is not understood or spoken by another employee. " when i was finally placed at my location I had to take my 1 and only break 1hour into shift because the first shift ends an hour after my start time. I was not only drawing blood, I was centrifuging, aliquoting, poring off urines, entering orders, chasing down a team of 7 Medical Assistants for specimens that i had to enter before end of my shift. Every single night I had to stay anywhere from 35 minutes to 2 and a half hours late because I was the only Phlebotomist. At beginning of my employment LabCorb did not have Phlebotomist testing people with COVID-19 symptoms. Patients were stabbed and drawn outside by another company. But when that company wasn't available I started noticing COVID-19 NASAL SWAB ordered on requisitions. When I inquired about this I was told " They only were showing 2 symptoms, so it is ok." I knew it was because drive-thru testing was not available that day so doctors would swab, then send patients who may be infected to me to draw. In the evening there wasnt social distancing, patients would be 15 deep waiting for me 1 Phlebotomist to enter orders, draw, spin, aliquot, etc. Daytime limit was 3 patients in only. When i would ask for help because I was staying too late, social distancing wasnt occurring, I was told to not sanitize after each patient, do not enter orders till after all patients left etc. So, basically cut corners so patients don't have to wait so long, but also patients wouldn't be able to see what their insurance may not cover, and what they would have to pay as patient responsibility. Extremely unethical, and dangerous. I was expected to do the work of 4 people and stay until every sample was finished regardless of only being a 30 hour employee. So I worked 39 hours, or 42, hours even though I was told " Once and awhile you might have to stay 25 mins to half hour late." LABCORP IS A HUGE COMPANY WHO TREATS EMPLOYEES AWFUL, and HAS ZERO INTEREST IN PATIENTS QUALITY OF TREATMENT. LABCORP CARES ABOUT MAKING MONEY ONLY. I finally quit after a 350 pound man came barging in my draw room while I had a needle in a patients arm complaining he had been waiting 15 minutes, and it doesn't take that long to draw blood. Of course he didn't understand or know that i had to lookup, enter, print out and explain to current patient imperative instructions on 12 stool samples she was doing later that night, before I took her blood, and had the doctor, or 1 of the 6 Medical Assistants taking the time to find correct codes for tests the blood draw would have taken only 5 minutes
And if Labacorp had replaced scanner for medical cards and credit cards as i asked many times, my computer wod not have wasted 2 minutes SEARCHING FOR SCANNER, that didn't exist.

LabCorp Very painful blood draw

I had my blood draw as stated above. The staff who drew my blood was very nice. However, the way she drew my blood was very painful. Upon removing the bandage on the point of draw, I sustained a coin-size dark black hematoma. I've been using Labcorp for decades, and this is the first time that this has happened to me. The staff in question probably needs more training and care in drawing blood.

I had my blood drawn at 5555 Reservoir Drive, San Diego. It was the most painful blood draw I've had in my life. Thereafter, I sustained a big dark hematoma at the point of the draw.

LabCorp Male intake nurse ~ 3131 W Charleston Blvd STE 110, Las Vegas, NV 89102

Date: 12/1/2023 Time: 11:00 AM

​The first thing he did was prop open both doors to the facility to The Charleston Ave Labcorp. It was very cold, and the air was blowing hard.

We are not out of the woods with Covid, RSV Pneumonia. I am a senior citizen and I am getting over the flu.

In addition, his demeanor, and speech was crude, short; like as if I was bothering him.

His boss, and supervisor need to speak with him, and make it clear that he is there to be of service to the PATIENT.

Be more cordial, I hope he is capable of doing that.

I just came from the LabCorp and Walgreens on Lantana Road And jog Road. I scanned in my primary insurance, which is Medicare and my secondary insurance, which is Emblem Health GHI senior care it excepted it when I go in for the test nurse one said Medicare doesn't cover the cost of my blood test. LabCorp Lab tests - blood draw

Let’s start with a locked door that I knocked on several times that no one would answer. Finally, a woman came out, and I asked why the door was locked because it was after the start time, and she very snippily replied, it’s supposed to be locked. I had never been to a LabCorp and this experience was terrible. There’s no real indication of how you sign in. Then the woman told me I didn’t have an appointment. My insurance card uses a first initial and my drivers license uses a first name. I called my doctors office to confirm and they said they had phoned it in the day before. The technician with attitude was more attached to me being wrong than fixing the situation. I got lectured by two women because of the difference in a first initial and a first name. My last name is unusual, so I don’t know why they couldn’t have pulled that up, or my date of birth, or my Social Security number, all of which would have identified me. When you’re going in for medical tests, the last thing you need is stress that is heaped on you by the technician drawing your blood. It’s no wonder this company has a 1.9 star rating. It was terrible.

Desired outcome: The technicians could really use some customer service training. The women working at this particular office was very snippy, a lot of attitude, and basically pushing a “I’m the boss of you” attitude.

LabCorp Service

On 11/4 I took my daughter for bloodwork at the Stony Point, NY location. While we were checking in at the check in station, we were told that they were not receiving walk ins anymore. The person at the reception told us to go to Pomona, NY location, where there were 2 lab stations. According to him, he just spoke to his Supervisor and the Supervisor told him to direct people to Pomona. We drove to Pomona and when we arrived the check in station was blocked. I tried to explain to the receptionist that we were sent there by the Stony Point location. It was difficult because this person kept cutting me off and interrupting when I was talking. She told me Stony Point should not be sending people to her location and they were too busy to take any walk ins. She showed me the contact information for the Supervisor. I called the Supervisor and left a message. I was waiting for the Supervisor to call back. Two business days later, no call.

Desired outcome: Explanation why people are being sent to another LabCorp location where they are not receiving patients.

LabCorp Technicial pulled wrong doctor's order and thus needed test was not performed

On August 18, 2023 I visited the LabCorp site on Gilead Road in Huntersville for an appointment for a Lipid panel ordered by my primary care physician. The technician was working alone that morning. I asked as I was sitting down for blood to be drawn, if she had picked up my primary care physician's order and she said "Yes". I asked because I also have an order from my urologist for quarterly PSA tests. Blood was drawn and I left. On the morning of August 19th I received the results for a PSA test. I immediately contacted LabCorp customer service through their "contact us" form and stated the wrong test had been performed. I did not hear from customer service for several days and when I did receive an email response it simply stated they were happy that I was able to access my test results. I used the "contact us" form again and gave a bad services review and received a phone call from someone at LabCorp who listened to my complaint and agreed it was the technician's mistake and he would cancel my $17 copay and call me back. He didn't. I contacted customer service several more times and was told it was a billing issue, it was my doctor's fault and to contact customer service. I then started calling customer service directly. I have spent hours on the phone with several customer service reps and two different supervisors all of whom said the mistake was LabCorp but someone else would have to credit my account. I was finally given the Novant LabCorp sales representative's number and told she was the only one who could remove the charge on my account. I texted her on October 12th and several days later she responded that she was submitting a credit for my account, but it might take 10 days for billing to post the credit. It has now been three weeks and she no longer responds to my text messages. I have been sending her screen shots of the weekly billing I receive from LabCorp including this week's threat to withhold services and turn my account over for collection. It has now been 12 weeks of inaction on the part of LabCorp over a $17 charge for which they admit was their mistake. I did have to have a second test performed 10 days after the wrong test was performed to get the test my doctor had ordered. That invoice was immediately paid by me.

LabCorp Urinalysis

I had a routine urinalysis to verify I'm taking the Oxycodone my doctor prescribes for me. My Medicare Advantage insurance explanation of benefits included: Pathology Test 80307; Pathology Test G0483; Venipuncture 36415.

Total amount paid by IBX to LabCorp $259.01.

Results included Chlorphenearmin, which, so far as I know, is not a controlled substance. Also, I certainly did not have blood drawn. In addition, a routine blood test can be obtained from a private lab for well under $100.00.

LabCorp Blood draw

On October 4, 2023 at 8:30 AM I arrived at LabCorp on Berkshire Valley Rd., Oak Ridge New Jersey 07438.

I needed to get my cholesterol levels and my blood sugar levels checked.

The phlebotomist on staff was very nice very friendly but unfortunately, she did a very bad job in drawing my blood and a lot of mistakes were made. I am a phlebotomist myself.

I was stuck three times with a butterfly needle no less and all three times the veins were missed. The tourniquet was never taken off. Finally she got some blood but what really upset me the most is that the phlebotomist opened the vials and poured my clotted blood from an SSTS tube into a lavender tube which is unacceptable as now that blood can be contaminated and affect my results. I should’ve never been stuck three times and I felt it was necessary to report this incident because if it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone and I do not want to see anyone’s blood results come back wrong due to an error on the phlebotomist.

Desired outcome: There needs to be another person at this site to make sure this does not happen again. I also want to retake my blood work at another facility. So it should be out in my record so I will not be charged nor need another prescription.

LabCorp Wait time at Labcorp

I went to the Labcorp at 420 Rowland, Covina, CA on Monday 9-25-23. I had an appointment at 8:30 am and I kept waiting to be called in. I finally went up to the desk and told them I had an appointment. They checked my paperwork then wrote the time and highlighted it. I asked if they forgot about me since most people there are walkins. They said you'll be coming up next and didn't seem to care that almost everyone in the waiting room had been called in. I waited for 40 minutes.

A few months ago, at this same Labcorp I had done a bowel sample test. It said to drop it off at the lab, but when my husband tried to leave it off, they made him wait until they called him. They then instructed him to go and drop it in a box. He was there for 30 minutes just to drop the test off. I have been going to this location for years and don't appreciate how bad they've gotten.

Desired outcome: I would expect an apology and the people that handle the appointments to be made aware that appointments should take precedence over walkins.
