My children and I traveled to the La Quinta in queens NY. we were running late and we knew the hotel was equipped with a garrage for us to park because in NYC you cannot find parking. we arrived to the hotel at 9pm just for the front desk tell us that the garrage was under construction and we would have to park in the street. After an hour of trying to find parking and a police officer telling us that after midnight they ticket parked cars in that area.knowing my children were tired I gave up and told the front desk we will not stay here tonight and will find another hotel with a garage. He indicated that they could not cancel my reservation or give me my $$ back. not only did I pay for a hotel that I did not stay in but payed for one to actually sleep in. they didnt even offer a credit for the inconvenience, they just took my money . Now Im in a battle just to get my money back and expedia where I booked it originally was NO help what so ever. if your planning to stay here, make sure you ask them about the garrage availability.
