La Quinta Inns & Suites The service wouldn't take our visa card

The shower couldn't regulate, couldn't stay as we want, also the fan in the bathroom very crappy also the tub has an hole every time step my boyfriend cut bottom of his foot black junk coming out, the sink couldn't regulate too, the microwave malfunctioning, the television couldn't get the sound up at all, so we are not very happy about this hotel at all. We are not very happy about this hotel at all. 🤬😡🤬😡🤬

Nov. 22, 23 2023 A $250 charge showed up on my Credit card I thought it was a deposit not returned days later called front desk --turns out they charged for Smoking in Room I do not smoke, my wife does not smoke and our 1 year old baby does not smoke The whole hall smelled like weed They said I have to talk to manager for 5 days in a row the manager does not return message they sain in from 9 - 3 everyday when I call he is out to lunch call back in an hour but they have no idea where he is I want the 250 dollar credit for the fraudulent charge or I will contact the highest authourities Bernard Jones [protected]@aol.com

La Quinta Inns & Suites My room

Well I booked a room online on the 5th of December 2023 and it didn’t have a fridge or microwave as stated in the purchase. So the next morning, I went to front desk to change rooms and he charged me 20$ for the upgrade which it wasn’t, he moved me next door and this unit had a broken fridge which leaked tons of water on floor and also has cockroaches as well, I’m scared to talk to the front desk guy because he is so rude and hostile. But I got ripped off and shouldn’t also be berated by the help

La Quinta Inns & Suites Our room at 2824 South 188th, Street, Seattle- has no hot water for our entire stay.

There is not much to add. We had no hot water the entire time. We were told a boiler was being fixed. We saw no repair staff the entire time. We saw the place was being re-modeled, but we saw no work being done. No work trucks were there- the site was shut down probably due to the long weekend for Thanksgiving. We asked if we could have a kettle to heat water. The answer was no. We asked if we could have a container to get hot water- the answer was no. We were not given any discount- only told we could cancel our reservation when we arrived on the evening of the 22nd. You appreciate that rooms were unavailable due to the long weekend. The room was rented in my wife's name: Gwen Gartner, 149 Appleside Close S.E., Calgary, Alberta. Our email is [protected]@gmail.com.

Claimed loss: Our loss was we could not have a hot shower. We could not clean ourselves. We were not given anything other than a false message that it would be repaired before we checked out. It was not working when we left.

Desired outcome: Some sort of consideration for our next stay. Your hotel could have phoned us in advance- the boiler had been broken for a number of days. The staff was very polite, and they told us they were embarrassed.

La Quinta Inns & Suites Hotel stay

This hotel is awful! I made reservations for a friend and myself for an award luncheon pertaining to my job. I had never stayed in this hotel before. But, when I arrived and got checked in and went to our room that’s when the nightmare began. Before getting to the room the elevator, whole floor and room smelled like onions. When I got into the room the room obviously smelled like onions, it was very obvious that this particular room had not been serviced in a long time. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, the sliding door to the patio would not open, the tv would not work (no signal) and then it would not cut off, the air in the room was stale and the air conditioner would not work, we had ordered food from one of the places on a pamphlet that was at the front desk and the refrigerator in the room would not work or keep our food cold and my food spoiled. ($38.00 was wasted!). We did not have enough towels in our room, and there was a broken hair dryer sitting on the sink, and the door would not lock. We called the front desk and informed them of our problems with our tv and was told to unplug the tv from the outlet and re-plug and that should work. We did and nothing! I went to the front desk, and he gave me a huge roll of toilet paper (see attached) He told us he had been told to give guest a box of tissues for toilet paper because they were out. So, then they exchanged our room and moved us 2 floors down. We took this to our other room with us just in case there wasn’t any there either. When we got to that room it was obvious, they were doing renovations because the floor down the hall was ripped/ tore up. We entered our new assigned room, and it was somewhat better than the 1st one but it still had a stench in the hall and the air in the room was stale and old (once again from being vacant and uncleaned), the patio door still would not open, the tv did work and the air conditioner worked (barely). There still wasn’t enough towels (we had 1 towel each), and the toilets were so low to the ground it felt like we were sitting on a child’s daycare toilet! Very hard to get up from! And the toiletries (soap, shampoo, lotion) were so small it was ridiculous! My hand was bigger than they were! (See example:)

It was like everything was made for a child! We had also went downstairs to the hotel market to get snacks only to find out that the prices were ridiculously high, and the food was old and had not been removed from the shelf. We picked up a package of pickles that were smoochy! We told the front desk clerk, and he acted as if he didn’t know asked us if they all were that way. So, we brought them to him, and he also saw for himself that they were but still did not remove them from the shelf. (Nasty!) The very next morning, we went to utilize the free breakfast that supposedly came with the stay, and it was pitiful! They had juice, coffee, powdered eggs, no meat at all, cold biscuits & bagels (plain & raisin), and cereal with milk. That’s it! There were 2 waffle makers plugged up on a counter and no mix for them! Just awful! I asked a worker if they worked (she didn’t speak English), and shook her head and said, “no work” (meaning the waffle makers). Then another guest also went to that same worker to ask if they had seen her clothes that were being cleaned. (Same response) and said that someone had stolen her clothes! I then made a statement to another guest, that I was glad that I had put my “DO NOT DISTURB” sign on my door before coming down to the breakfast. And that guest said to me that it didn’t matter because her daughter had done the same thing, and they still tried to enter the room! She said if it had not have been for her daughter locking the door from the inside they would have succeeded. This was very disturbing & upsetting to me and my guest. So, we immediately went back to our room and began to get dressed to leave. Upon leaving I informed the front desk clerk of the incidents and problems we had experienced and asked for a refund. She apologized for the inconvenience but informed us that she did not have the authorization to refund anything but she would let her manager know and have them contact us. She also had informed us the manager was on their way in and they would contact us shortly and we left. We were very hungry and very dissatisfied! I patiently waited for a return call and had reached out to the hotel several times only to be told the manager was on a conference call and would call me back. This happened several times and no calls were made to me. I then called back to ask what time the manager was to leave for the day and was informed she leaves at 6pm., so I continued to wait and still no call! I started getting angry. So I then I called at 5 min till 6 pm and then was I told she had already left. I then became very annoyed and angry! So, I asked the clerk for the managers name to which he said “Nicole”. And when I asked for her last name he then he put me on hold and she miraculously answered the phone after, I had been put off several times and then told she had already left the premises. “Go figure”. She had me to re-explain the whole situation again, because she did not get the full explanation from the front desk clerk of what had happened. So, I did. And she told me she could only refund me $25 of my money back. I was not at all pleased! After going around and around I had expressed to her that I had paid thru “Booking.com” $81.60 and $50 (incidentals) & that I was requesting a full refund. She kept giving me excuses like; “we have been undergoing renovations”, or “why didn’t I ask for a full refund the night before”, and /or “you could have gone to one of our sister hotels”. To which I informed her that I had just traveled 2 ½ hours to get there for a function for my job, and I had never been there before and I didn’t know that area, and that I didn’t think I would have to deal with or run into the problems I was faced with. She also said she could give me credit/ points to stay again at another hotel (sister hotel) I again said “NO”. She was being very vague, and non-understanding of my situation. I told her I was still not happy with just getting back $25 and that I wanted a full refund! She again was being uncooperative and still giving me excuses and getting very condescending with me. She then gave me another $10 off my bill. Still, I wasn’t happy I wanted a full refund! I tried being as nice as I could, but it wasn’t working so I took the $10 credit and ended the call and decided to write to the corporate office for my refund. I have stayed in La Quinta hotels before and never have I ever! Received such awful service and I work hard for my money too and I did not expect to receive that kind of treatment that I received from the hotel that I stayed at! If they were undergoing renovations, then they should have closed or well informed their guest of this so they could have had the choice to choose somewhere else to stay. Even the front desk clerk said he had been informed that he was to hand out tissue boxes to the guest for toilet paper because they didn’t have any. I mean really! I came to Nashville to stay for my 25th service award for my job, but never did I expect to have to stay in such an awful place and get awful service as well as expect to pay for it either! I am requesting a refund of my entire stay back as well as the money for the food that I purchased that spoiled because of a refrigerator that did not work to keep my food cold like it was supposed to. I do not want credit for another stay in your hotel or sister hotel because after the experience I just encountered I had my stay ruined and will forever remember my 25th anniversary with a bad taste in my mouth. I do not wish to stay in another La Quinta or any other hotel affiliation. I just want my money back please!

Very dark and run down room. Bug on soap dish, toilet seat was falling off which they did repaired. The exhaust fan was burned up and wasn't working. Mutiple pieces of trim missing around mirror, rusty chips on tub. Shower ceiling has evidence of water leak. Ceiling to give way soon. There was confrontation with housekeeping in hotel lobby. This hotel needs lots of TLC.

La Quinta Inns & Suites Condition of hotel, Calhoun Georgia. La Quinta Inn

Reservation number: 88968EE009141 This hotel should be shut down. We arrived and found the hallway leading to our room with missing ceiling tiles and insulation hanging from the ceiling. The hall was dirty, the walls were marred and needed painting. Our room was missing the manual locking mechanism on the door, the bathroom had black mold on the tub surround and there was only lukewarm water for the shower. The sink had no stopper and was rusted. The heater fan was broken or bent as it scraped something when turning causing excessive noise. This was by far the worst La Quinta Inn that we have stayed in .

La Quinta Inns & Suites Refused to give me breakfast

I was a few mins late then they gave me their plate of food and that's not okay to do I could get sick from that and i really was not ok with not being able to get a cup of coffee at least. Also staff treated me like I was lying about having a room and just trying to bombard them without reason for their breakfast. That doesn't meet their standards for quality or for accomodations I was especially slow this morning in particular because my leg is bad and it's been super overwhelming getting anywhere. Also there was flies on their coffee tray in my room also the fruit in the selection for hotel was rotten. Also not up mission statements promise to provide excellent service. It seemed to me that the hotel initially stereotyped me thinking I was not a hotel guest but indeed I was there for a business trip for work out of pocket.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology and i want to inform you that ill be taking this to small claims through Fresno City courts system in California

La Quinta Inns & Suites Our experience at motel hell

My family stayed in room 139 at La Quinta in Lufkin, Texas for two nights. We were told that the rooms had two queen-sized beds, they turned out to be full sized beds. The room had mouse droppings in the bathroom and roaches through the room. I had to shake my shoes out every time I put them on to get the roaches out of them.

We stayed in the handicapped room to accommodate my wife.

The bathroom door was broken and coming apart. We were afraid to take a shower due to the ring around the drain. Even if we wanted to take a bath, there was NO drain plug to let the tub fill with water.

It was hard to get to sleep at night due to the barking dogs and excessive noise outside. Needless to say, I didn't sleep the whole time I was there. This the worse La Quinta I ever stayed at. My son wanted to go to the pool, but the water was green and had algae throughout it. I didn't want him to catch anything from the pool. If there was a way to give a below zero rating, that's what I would give this one. Also, keeping a horribly stinky rolling trash can right outside our room was an added bonus to our experience. It was like walking through a landfill every time we went to our car.

I want a refund for the money I wasted on this room. (That's the LEAST you should do).

Desired outcome: I want a refund for the time and money I wasted on our room. I feel that is the LEAST Wyndham could do for us.

La Quinta Inns & Suites Service

Hello,

My name is Harriet Gossett; my husband and I stayed in the LaQuinta Inn and Suites in Conway Arkansas from Thursday, December 28 to Monday, October 2, 2023 (confirmation number: [protected]).

We are not happy with our visit. First, a couple of little things-

1. We went out on Friday and returned at 8:30 to an unmade bed. I went to the front desk to mention it, but nobody was there - there was a small sign that said”press here for service”. I pressed it and waited, pressed it and waited, pressed it and waited, then I called out for someone with no response. I then walked over near the automatic door so it would open thinking that a desk clerk would hear the door open and come out- nothing so I just returned to my room.

2. The next day we noticed the TV wouldn’t work. I asked the desk clerk to help with it. She came down and said we had the wrong remote and had someone bring another remote. That one didn’t work either so I had to ask the desk clerk for help again. She explained that we needed to use one remote to turn the TV on and the other to change channels, etc.

3. I washed my hair and couldn’t find a hair dryer. I looked everywhere twice- in the bathroom, the closet and all the drawers- so I air dryed my hair.

These things didn’t meet the quality I expected at a LaQuinta or Wyndham, but I wouldn’t have bothered to complain in writing about them until our Sunday experience.

My husband and I went out for a day with family and I placed the “do not disturb” sign on the door. We returned around 7:30 and the sign was not on the door. We went in and wow! There were no sheets or pillowcases nor bedspread on the bed. Our belongings had been moved around- my makeup case was moved out of the bathroom and placed on the shelf near the TV, my husband’s medicines were also placed on that shelf along with his beer that had been in the refrigerator. Our suitcases and some clothes were also moved. It was a little creepy- we felt violated. Nobody had the right to touch our property. No one should have even been in the room because of the “do not disturb” sign.

This time there was someone manning the desk and she moved us to another room. She told us to mention our situation to the desk clerk the next day, which I did. The day desk clerk said the manager wasn’t there, but the manager would call me the next day (today). No phone call or apology from the manager.

My husband is disabled and uses a wheelchair. It’s already a little stressful traveling with him and this situation didn’t help at all. I am disappointed, I expected more from LaQuinta and Wyndham.

Again, nobody had the right to touch our personal items! I think you should consider a full refund for our stay. Please email me back and let me know that you received this.

La Quinta Inns & Suites Poor condition of the rooms at sarasota property

Hi Manager, Our family has been staying at LaQuinta hotels properties for over 30 years. Just recently we stayed at the downtown property in Sarasota on September 24. There were roaches crawling all over the nightstand and the bed. It was reported to the desk clerk who did not have any roach spray. It was room 108 directly across from dining. the shower head was full of mold or crude from hard water residue. We were moved to another room on the second floor. this room didn't appear to have a working smoke alarm. Both mangers were professional but this was a first for us. We have never seen any bugs especially not roaches in a Laquinta room. The manager offered us points to accommodate our inconvenience. thanks. Phyllis

The next day September 25 we stayed at the LaQuinta in Lake Mary/Orlando Area. We have stayed here several times. In the wee hours of the morning when visiting the rest room there were 3 roaches crawling on the walls and floor. No kidding. We have never seen roaches at Laquinta in over 30 years. your maintenance patterns must have changed.

We are planning to stay at LaQuinta in Tallahassee on 11/11/23 for an FSU football game. hopefully there will be no roaches.

La Quinta Inns & Suites My room at La Quinta in Deerfield Beach FL

I made reservation for my self and my daughters and upon arrival had to change room several times. Smoke fumes horrible could not breath I am on oxygen tank. Final got to the room 2nd floor still smokey but better, elevator need cleaning, only one set of towels, roaches crawling on the floor and in the bsthroom and stains in the tubs, carpets stained filthy in the parking area light not working dark, water flood inmproper draniage, my some one needs to do a professional cleaning and inspection of these hobbile room and playing musical room to find one smoke free.

Desired outcome: to be refunded and send in professional to get those room up to standards would not let my dogs stay there

La Quinta Inns & Suites Unsatisfactory and unprofessional services received

Hello,

My name is Yolanda DuPree I am sending this email due to the unsatisfactory and unprofessional services received at 4604 Madison Avenue Sacramento CA hotel from Jay Ceccato and LaToshia Phillips from the very next day after our overnight stay at that hotel. Unfortunately, we did not receive satisfactory service from either individual as we complained the very next morning regarding issues with the room provided with which was room 106 then we were moved to room 110 because we requested a refund in order to go to another satisfactory hotel after searching. However, per your manager Jay Ceccato we were not granted a refund even after calling and speaking with Priceline because Priceline said they would do the refund after only one day but because it was a package deal it would be left to the hotel manager to grant the refund. I was then told after requesting a refund that he would not receive a commission which would be taken away from him if the refund was granted and also heard the manager Jay while on the phone with Priceline saying the refund would be declined.

Upon receiving unsatisfactory service the room we stayed in was not cleaned each day I have pictures of leaving the room and returning back to the room with nothing being done cleaned, towels still on the floor, trash not dumped, item not being reported or returned to the customer of room 106 that were moved to room 110 until complaint was made and then asked to see video cameras because it should show items still in possession of the hotel. While left in the lobby by the manager and guest service manager complaining the 1st call received said no the item (Golden State Warrior Fleece) that was left in room 106 was not found and the 3rd time they called back after complaining and asking to see camera video then they called back saying the item was located under housekeeping items folded ok if it was folded and placed in the sheets that was hidden to be stolen which is what we took it as. Again we requested a refund so we could find another more professional hotel to stay but then again denied. I am requesting again a refund and that commission Jay Ceccato and LaToshia Phillips were to receive be taken away because of their rude behavior. Even before our complaint there were others complaining as well even until the last day. We did not and will not stay at another LaQuinta Hotel because of the type of nonservice offered.

Shown below is what I submitted on Priceline and will continue until some type of satisfaction has been provided by giving a refund or will seek further assistance legally.

The experience with the package deal (hotel) was unsatisfactory. The room and service were horrible. After being in the hotel for 1 night we called Priceline to see if we could get a refund and move to another hotel but because of the package deal it was declined when I was informed if it was approved the manager would have lost his commission not thinking about the service received of the customer. Then the guest with me left her Golden State Warrior fleece in the room after being changed from 106 to 110 the same room type realized she did not have her fleece with her on Saturday morning moved on Wednesday. Went to the front desk and was informed fleece was not there however after the guest stating there should be cameras in the hotel then the fleece was located and brought to the front desk and given back to the guest. Also, the room was not cleaned as they should have been and the reason, we found that out was because we left our make up on the bed came back in the room and the same sheets were on the bed and the bathtub was not cleaned it still had the dirt ring around it in the room, the beds did not have new sheets until we left the sheets on the floor in the room. There is a whole lot more to say however I am requesting a refund due to the unsatisfactory service received. The agent at the desk we were asking questions about the service and what was to be done and was informed she did not know but would tell us one thing and then something different when questioned again.

Given the refund that we requested because of the issues we saw when we 1st spoke about it and came back other days with issues in the room moved to. I am still requesting a refund because of the unprofessional service continued receiving as customers.

I attempted to upload additional pictures however the site will not upload tried several times in order to show pictures of room not being cleaned

La Quinta Inns & Suites Harassment

I am writing you to inform you of an incident at Laquinta. I informed your front desk staff the moment t after it occurred and asked for the general manager but the manager is off til Tuesday so I was told to email you. I honestly felt like someone should've been contacting me vs me havi g to chase down mgmt. My sister and I arrived from Chicago and checked into the Laquinta 6260 Peachtree.

I initially had to switch rooms because the air-conditioning was making a loud noise on floor 3. I was switched to 712. Once up there I asked for an extra blanket. The housekeeper Juan didn't understand me so he pulled out his phone. He used a translating app and left to get the blanket. I thanked him he picked up my hand and kissed it I pulled my hand back and he left. I rushed downstairs but forgot my bag and had to return. When I returned he was across the hall I was on the right side heading to the room he had his phone out signaling me that he was trying to show me something he wrote. I looked and it said he wanted to come to my room and show me how he could stroke me. I didn't understand at 1st because he misspelled it but he typed it again. I looked at him and SAID NO! at this point I grabbed my bag sort of in shock not knowing how to respond as he has keys to my room. I left trying to not seem pissed even though I was.. Immediately went downstairs to report this. Never in my life has this sort of sexual harassment happened. Never have I double locked the doors, looked out the peephole before leaving my hotel room trying not to run into him. It is disgusting and I want corporate to call me immediately.

I stayed at the La Quinta in Bakersfield California on Riverside drive on August 17th the rooms was infested with roaches I checked out on the 18th and I still haven't received my security deposit back I stayed 3 other times there with no problems I've always had my deposit back on my card within 10 minutes after checkout. It is the 3rd of September and still havent received my deposit back.
