we are existing koodo customer. Today we have received the promotion message to get Samsung s26 at 0$ with $50/month payment from koodo and this promotion is for existing valued customer. I called the koodo customer care team to avail the promotion and after sometime the customer care person named Martin told me that he did the credit check and I am not qualified for the promotion. this is the civil violation rights that without consent how can customer care check the credit check, first of all I didn't give my consent to check the credit. further I didn't approach to koodo for buying any mobile phone. Based on the promotion message I have reached out to the koodo to avail the promotion. I have detailed proof of the message with the customer care martin where in he clearly mentioned that he did the credit check assuming they have all the personal information as well like SIN etc.. I have even logged the complaint to koodo loyalty deptt. and manager named Sara. Initially she claimed that martin wrongly did the credit
