KitchenAid dishwasher

We purchased a kitchenaid dishwasher from Home Depot just over a year ago. It worked fine for about a year. Then it stopped cleaning dishes. Tried repairing twice and still it does not work. Now we have no choice but to replace the dishwasher. Very dissatisfied with this product - clearly purchased a lemon. W10579093A. Can't see why we would ever buy a Kitchenaid appliance again.

KitchenAid stand mixer

Well now. I will of course write this complaint up for a larger audience, but for now I will vent my spleen here.

I was given a gift of the small version of the kitchenaid stand mixer. I use it to make bread. I have used it for 7 months, and have found it to be a very poorly designed product. The mixer throws up clouds of flour (yes there is a guard you should insert) but anyone who has ever made bread knows that you have to adjust and continuously add flour (clearly design engineers have no clue about cooking). I had adjusted to this and the fact that you need to continuously push the dough down from rising to the spring, where machine oil would be dispensed to your bread dough (honestly, has this company never heard of usability testing?), but today was the kicker. First, I had trouble putting on the dough hook - it just wouldn't fit. The reason, the temperature in my house was 74 degrees and the metal parts had expanded (I put the hook in the freezer- ten minutes later I managed to get it on). Then, all my dough in the mixture already in the bowl, the central pin that holds the entire mechanism together (never mind it has no bolts to keep it in place) worked it's way out causing the whole heavy head to collapse into my dough and grind the enamel off the dough hook into my food.

Guess what? I couldn't put the pin back in without first putting all the separate parts in the fridge to cool them down. So, now this batch of dough ruined and the dough hook ruined, I realize that this appliance has actually cost me more to sit on my counter occupying valuable real estate in my kitchen than placing it into the trash where it belongs.

I have made 22 loaves of bread with this useless machine so far (not including the two enamel laden loaves that I trashed) so this machine has produced loaves of bread that have cost in excess of 20$ each (not including the ingredients).

I went to the customer service website (no email option available) and found the call hours within the time I was calling. I called and after 5 layers of menus discovered that the customer service hours were not the same as listed on the website. Five layers of menus to tell me that they were in fact, closed.
Can a company have any more contempt for a customer than this?

Do yourself a favor. Do not buy this worthless product. Braun products are much better.

KitchenAid stand mixer

On May 09th I bought a small appliance online after seeing a TV offer.
On May 16th I was charged.
Order number: [protected]
Tracking Number: [protected]

I never received an order confirmation or tracking number. I had to call, and find out after giving my info.

Today is the 24th, I waited 14 days and decided to call as I did receive one box with the attachments but not the actual mixer.

Dane from Kitchen Aid Tv Offer was extremely rude on the phone and did not provide me with a customer service number and would not allow me to finish a sentence once she saw she could not sell me anything.

After 3 hours on the phone with 6 different agents, they finally told me to send an email to [protected]@whirlpool.com to confirm my payment, saying my package was requested to be returned to them because of an issue with billing.

I sent the email, they claimed they never received it. I asked for another email and they told me they didn't have another one. At the end they told me the screenshot from my bank statement was not enough and the supervisor would need to contact another dept the day after to find out the real issue.

I spoke to Grant, the supervisor, which was very nice, and he told me will call me tomorrow, but after so much headache I didn't even want this anymore.

I'm very upset as this was a mother's day gift, my first mother's day and this issue have made this gift very unpleasant.

If things don't get cleared tomorrow, I want my money back, order cancelled and FEDEX sent to pickup the attachments. If they are able to clear the issue, whatever it is the issue they have, I want to receive my appliance overnight.

Be aware and dont buy from https://kitchenaidtvoffer.com

KitchenAid kitchenaid mixer ksm150 from parisilk

Hi Person In Charge,

I would like to submit a complaint in regards to a recent purchase i made. I had initally ordered for Sea Glass Kitchenaid when i realised the colour did not suit my house. I contacted parisilk facebook to request for someone to return me a call. after many days, of constant messaging and calls, there was a call.. They managed to exchange for me to Champagne gold. After recieving the item that very night, i open the box . to my surprise the champagne gold has a defect at the back of the kitchenaid. I ave tried calling the hotlines, facebook messages and Qoo10 message. No one till now have got back to me. I've been feeling very anxious as the item is still siting on the counter and we are getting annoyed at how this is being handled. We have exhausted all avenues and we are hoping Qo10 will be able to help us with this.

KitchenAid rebate - sent, lost, sent, rejected

My issue has been with the rebates related to KitchenAid products and to a point their customer service.

I purchased my appliances at the end of February with schedule delivery on March 7th. I picked the specific appliances that I did because of 4 rebates worth a total of $650 which made these appliances significantly cheaper than another model which I liked slightly more. I had several issues with the deliveries (late, arrived on the wrong date, one was damaged and had to be redelivered). However, that is not KitchenAid's fault so I won't go into that any further but it does help explain my level of overall frustration.

After the deliver I was able to get the serial number and mail the rebate forms (all 4 of them, only 1 was to KitchenAid) the next day on March 8th. All four had different post mark requirements ranging from early April to early May. All were shipped in March so no issues there. So by Mid-April I go online to check status and neither website has the record. So I call both companies and the other company handled it and I've since seen my record on the website and it is being processed. KitchenAid service rep was actually very friendly and informed me they could not find the record. I told her the info of when I had sent it and told her the USPS information and she apologized in case it was lost/mishandled on their end and asked if I could get another copy. I said I could get them from the retail store the next day. She then gave me a different address and said please get them and send them to this new address. I pointed out that it was now PAST the date listed on the rebate form and asked if this would be an issue since I had the USPS form stating it was mailed timely. She informed me it would be no issue and it'd be taken care of.

So the next day I got an express envelope and paid the 5-6$ shipping and dropped the new forms in the mail. Here we are 3-4 weeks later and I got a letter in the mail stating it was rejected because it was postmarked after the required date! Despite the original being sent in time and the 2nd one being shipped to this special address. The only thing I can think is that I did not add any extra note/verbiage about the situation into the envelope but the customer service rep did not tell me to so I don't think that should be my fault if that was the issue.

Either way, the rebates were the primary reason I selected these specific appliances and I feel as if I have been given the run around, wasted time and money on shipping duplicate forms only to get lost and then the 2nd one rejected. Now I'm sincerely frustrated!

I hope someone from KitchenAid sees this and can help me out.

Thanks! I actually called Monday (Yesterday) and I just updated the complaint with a resolution. Everything was handled perfectly. Hopefully I receive the rebate in a few weeks as the customer service rep informed me I would.

Thank you!

Resolved

I called back and spoke to customer representative and they updated my rebate to get paid. They said I should receive it within 4 weeks. I will update again if not received. Assuming it's received everything worked out fine and maybe it was just a mistake within their customer service, but upon calling they didn't give me any hassle.

KitchenAid gourmet pasta press

I bought this attachment on Amazon.
Just over 2months later the auger snapped.

I contacted KitchenAid Singapore - they told me that as I had bought the item on Amazon, there is nothing they can do and no help they will provide.
I contacted Amazon - they told me to contact KitchenAid head office in the US.
I contacted KitchenAid US - they told me that since I was not located in the US, there is nothing they can do and no help they will provide.

Surely KitchenAid has a warranty obligation to clients regardless of where they are located in the world?

KitchenAid dishwasher kdtm354dss3

I bought this dishwasher 9/15 for $900. It is no longer working at all. I had a local repair company come out and they ascertained it was a faulty touch pad control panel. I checked it should be under warranty. I called customer service and it would be 1-2 weeks to have company based out of Miami to come to Osprey florida to do a diagnostic for $98, no labor included and from what the customer service rep said they would then have to order the part and come back yet again to install it with added labor fees. To make the situation even worse that would be 2 days I would have to take off of work because they don't have any weekend or after hours appointments available. I can get a local company to repair the part tomorrow! The funniest thing of all is that the local repair man warned me of the hassle and runaround it would take to fix it. I would like if they could use a local company so a consumer could have their appliance fixed within a reasonable time frame. We are a family of 4 living without a dishwasher for 1-2 weeks is not possible.

KitchenAid stand mixture mail in rebate

I bough a KitchenAid Stand Mixture in November from Kohl's. At that time there was a rebate on this product. That was the main reason I bought this product from Kohl's. I submitted my mail rebate in timely manner with all the required documents. I have called the customer service few times but they are saying that they don't have any rebate submission for my purchase. I have provided them my address, email address and serial number but they are not helpful at all. It looks like that offer was just a simply scam. I also talked with few other friends and they have same issue. All of who purchased KichenAid stand mixture during November non of us received our Mail in Rebate back.

I will not recommend any Kitchen Aid product to anyone now on.

KitchenAid 4 months stopped, warranty run around

Purchase a kitchenaid dishwasher model: kdtm354dss4 at end of nov, 2017. Exactly 4 months stopped working. Was informed by kitchenaid usa headquarters & customer service in usa that it was under warranty out of the country, didn't matter where it was purchased. We live in the bahamas. Have a local kitchenaid service department on the island. Kitchenaid in customer service from usa told me to contact the local kitchenaid service department. Upon contacting them on april 25, 2017, the manager (Owner?). Informed me that they only service kitchenaid appliances purchase at a local store in the bahamas. Tried to explain about my conversation with the usa kitchenaid, he just kept repeating that they only service for one local store. (Repairmen wear kitchenaid shirt).
A $800 dollar dishwasher that I used for 4 months, needs over $400 worth the work.
One week ago contacted kitchenaid service department in usa headquarters, said reply in 24-48 hrs. No reply yet. Yesterday, april 25, 2017, called again, but stayed on line & waited.
The dishwasher located bahamas.
What are my options? From my experience it seems the kitchenaid options are:
1. Setup a system, today, with kitchenaid repair service on the island, & expedite shipping the parts.
2. Ship the parts direct to me. Free of charge for parts & shipping. And reimburse us for hiring the repairman to replace it.
Almost 2 wks stopped, inconvenience, stress & warranty time is ticking away.
Please help!

Hello Diane KK. We regret to hear of your frustrations in regards to your Dishwasher. The manufacturer’s warranty is only for Appliances that are located in the United States. If an Appliance is purchased in the United States and then taken to a different country, you have then voided the warranty. Unfortunately we are unable to offer assistance to those residing outside of the United States. For scheduling service you will have to contact a local representative.

KitchenAid rebate

Just read a review that someone had a lot of trouble trying to get their KitchenAid rebate. I am having a similar problem on a KitchenAid mixer but I DID send in the UPC and they say they didn't get it. Also asked for a supervisor who also told me no UPC so no rebate. Even though I filled out the form which also included a receipt of purchase. I said is there a conspiracy going on? Are you giving out too many rebates so whoever opens the rebate envelope disposes of the UPC and says they never got it. It was a joke (sort of) but she didn't laugh. To sum it up I bought the mixer at Allthings kitchen.com because of the $30.00 rebate. Followed ALL the rebate instructions and will not be receiving a rebate

KitchenAid kitchenaid architect multipurpose blade

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the Small Parts Department/Warehouse communication. On December 22/17 I ordered a replacement multipurpose blade for a Kitchen Aid Architect Food Processor. I was told the shipment would be delayed as the part was out of stock. I received an egg whip in the mail Jan. 20/17. I understand that mistakes can happen and the wrong part can be picked. I then called to notify and ask that the correct part be mailed out. I waited a few more weeks and still no replacement part arrived. On March 1/17, I called again and was told that they had forgotten to fill out the part number on the form and this was why I hadn't received anything (good thing I called to check). On March 7/17, I received 2 more egg whips. I once again spent time on the phone with the Small Parts Department. At this point I asked if I could be reimbursed for my payment. However, I was told that I could not be reimbursed because it was beyond 30 days since the payment was made. What troubles me is the fact that had I asked for reimbursement earlier than I would have received it. However I have been patient and thought I would give the opportunity to correct the issue and now I can't receive my money back. This product was ordered for business use and thus I have had to purchase an alternative food processor to tie us over so our residents requiring pureed diets can receive the proper consistency. This has been a major inconvenience and makes me question the services Kitchen Aid offers.

KitchenAid rebate on ksm150ps mixer

Submitted a timely submission for a rebate on 1/17/2017 that had to be post marked by 1/23/2017. I received a notification on 2/17/2017 that my submission was received without a legible post mark by the postal service. The form requested that I submit missing information on or before March 12, 2017 with the postcard. I am unable to provide a copy of a post mark to prove that I mailed the letter on 1/17/2017 so I called the rebate customer service to dispute the issue. They stated that my rebate was received on 1/26/2017 and that there is nothing I can do about it because there was nothing that proved that I mailed it timely. Too bad your customer care people in your rebate office don't care that I will never buy another KitchenAid small appliance, that I will definitely complain to Williams Sonoma about your company along with anyone else I can speak to. Glad you all saved $50.00 bucks.

KitchenAid $50 rebate offer # 692-537 for stand mixer not valid

I purchased a Kitchen Aid stand mixer during black friday week 2016 from Kohl's with a $50 rebate. That same week I mailed in all the appropriate paperwork/ UPC code to Kitchen Aid. 11wks later I had not received a rebate, so I looked up online the status of my rebate. It showed non-compliance mailed. It shows the date of 11/30/16 received and that they supposedly sent me a letter on 12/13/16, which I never received. I called to inquire about it and was told it did not contain a postmark date. But lets remember they did admit to receiving it which means it had to have had a postmark. The customer representatives words were " it has happened to 40, 000 other people too, blame the Post Office". He was very rude. I think they have poor business practices and are scamming the public into purchasing their products with promise of big rebates. I see where there are numerous complaints online with similar complaints.

I too just received my denial and called the number. They said there was nothing they could do for me, that there was no postmark date on my envelope and that they did not receive it till the 30th. I sent my rebate on the 22nd and this seems very fishy to me that something that requires a postmark and is close to the rebate expiration gets turned down. Do you really think I would have bothered sending it if it was after that date? Plus, we have to send 3 types of information proving our purchase. How about sending me a picture of my envelope that supposedly has no postmark date! I buy a lot of Kitchen aid things for gifts and myself, this was a gift and I would not have purchased it without the rebate. I will no longer purchase Kitchen aid and I will spread the word of this scam.

Same exact problem! Show they received my items on 1/14 but deemed non-compliant on 1/19 due to "The request did not contain a postmark date or it was illegible". I'm sorry...you got it before the cutoff date so what the heck does it matter! This is a crock and a rip-off.

So I DID get the little post card and it tells me to submit missing/valid items to the address at the top of this card before March 4. How in the world am I supposed to submit a postmark date?

The website shows the paperwork was received on January 11 which was well before the cutoff of 1/23. It was apparently deemed non-compliant on 1/19 then they show they mailed my "non-compliant" notice on 2/2.

This is a crock. There has got to be something we can do about this...40, 000 people? That is a whopping $2 MILLION scam. My postcard is from Kitchenaid themselves, but my purchase was from Kohl's also...

KitchenAid ksdg950ess0

The control panel got fried only two days after the warranty expired! I am told a replacement will cost $460. The knobs wull turn is you so much as brush up against them an it will start leaking gas. I've come downstairs in the morning twice now to a kitchen reeking of gas. I've heard both of these issues are widespread with KitchenAid ovens and would strongly recommend steering clear. they are unreliable, not to mention extremely dangerous

KitchenAid superb built-in electric convection oven, model # keb107sss04

This is a self-cleaning oven(serial # D11061643) installed in 2011. The oven had been used several times over the past five years, but the self-cleaning function had not been utilized until this year. Using the self-cleaning function for the first and only time resulted in melting of a part of the latch system. The entire latch system had to be replaced at a cost of $250.00.

It would be proper for KithenAid to cover the cost of the repair since it is obviously due to a defective part.

This product was registered with KithenAid by card 5/29/11

If you buy a KitchenAid oven be sure to use the self-cleaning function while it is still under warranty.

KitchenAid the racks are total garbage, fell apart twice in 5 years each time costing @400$

The washer works well. The problem is the racks. They fall apart easily and are very costly to repair. re 400-500 dollars twice in five years. All the little bits fall off constantly hit the element and burn. The adjusters for the top rack are very poorly made and are quickly useless. The wheels are the first thing to go. I asked KA if I can buy new racks with all the bits attached so I can just start over, and they said no! Had to buy all the bits and pieces and yes get the tech guy in to assemble starting at about 300-400 to complete the job. NIce really nice so they have you anyway you turn. My mother has a dishwasher from 1972 albeit harvest gold works like a charm and always has. I think the whole industry is designed now to produce garbage so we have to keep on buying! Well I will avoid Kitchenaid for any new purchase. complaint # with Kitchenaid; [protected] B.Power

KitchenAid attachment gear artisan mixer

4/8/16 While running the kitchenaide with the meat grinder attachment the gear locked up, made loud sounds. I stopped what I was doing and cleaned out the attachment and tried running with the same result. My husband opened up the housing and discovered the gear was not lubed. There is a 1/2 cup or more of grease inside the housing but none on this gear so it had been running metal on metal. Assembled with out making sure grease got in the gear. I would like a new housing and gear free of charge. There were no instructions that you need to occasionally lube the gear. We had just gotten this attachment but the machine was never quiet. It is a lot quieter now, once this gear was removed, it runs fine now. is it ok to run with out the gear numbered 970-5130 ? if so i just wont use attachments. [protected]@yahoo.com CiCi

KitchenAid $50 rebate - stand up mixer

Bought this mixer largely due to the $50 rebate. I submitted all of the info I thought was required prior to the program expiration date. Yesterday, on Feb 29, I received a post card from Kitchenaid in the mail stating that I did not include the UPC code, though there is noting on the box that identifies that particular barcode as the UPC, and the portion of the box/barcode I did submit clearly states "Proof of Purchase." I called the customer service phone number on the postcard and talked to a lady who said that the card was mailed on January 27 and that there was "nothing she could do" to help me because the program had expired. I asked to speak to her supervisor who told me the same thing. There is neither a date nor a post mark on the card I received. From the other complaints I have read online I am inclined to believe this is nothing but a scam but still want to pursue the rebate I believe I am entitled to. Documentation attached.
