The store in Pueblo CO on 29th street is very convenient to me, and it is that reason that I keep shopping there. I buy a six pack of Cayman Jack just about every week. I am obviously over 21 and most the time the clerks just ask for my birthdate. Today I bought my usual and the guy seemed to be on a power trip; he wanted to see my ID and was very rude about it. I understand that the policy is to confirm your age when buying booze, but my birthdate should be all you need (I am 68yrs old).
Recommendation: Don't buy booze there if you are in your 60's.
I would think that if you are 68 years old, you would know the difference between "rude" and being told to do something that you do not want to do. If you are this uptight over being asked for ID, maybe you should not be drinking. Especially since you need to purchase a drink every week. He was just doing his job, Show your ID or do without.
