KFC review: undercooked wings

I went to the Kentucky friend chicken on route 175 some time between 6:00 and 7p.m. to get some wings. I ate some in the car on the ride home. When I got home and saw them in the light, I saw that all the wings I had eaten were bloody and severely undercooked. I took them back and got a refund, but I am outraged. This is unacceptable. People get sick eating undercooked poultry and it could be fatal. I don't understand how this could happen when the food cooks on a timer. This type of negligence should be taken very seriously.
