I have used Turbo Tax for over 35 years. I completed my taxes and filed our Federal return electronically. I was given the option of receiving a check or having it directly deposited in our bank account. We elected to receive a check. Two weeks later I receive a letter from IRS - they are no longer mailing refund checks. I have tried to 3 hours to set of an account with IRS and give them my banking information. I keep getting a message "Something went wrong" and they are working on it. Why didn't Turbo Tax know you can't get a refund check?
Unfortunately, both of my sons filed their returns the same way. Now all of our refunds are being held in limbo. Thoroughly disgusted.
