Good day,
In May 2022 i have registered my son at this college and paid double deposit (registration fee) and manually paid my double instalment by end of May so that i can get the studies paid up in six months. My son tried to access the student portal to access the study material since then but no success whilst confirmation letter received that he has been registered.
We kept on sending emails to student support and also to Sarena, the student consultant to address the issue who initially responded and promised to liaise with the IT support but the issue still persisted. To cut matters short in June and July my account was debited and also received mail that he must pay deposit to book for examination which we did received time table that the first test scheduled for July 2022. I have sent numerous emails requesting for assistance with the study material which were no longer responded to and finally requested for deregistration several times and still didn't get any response from the college to now but they keep on debiting my account. Please assist as i started requesting for deregistration form which was never sent or my email responded to...i really want to cancellthis registration..
Desired outcome: Justice be exercised and get deregistered, refunded all the monies paid and also for them to stop debiting my account.
I don't want to do anything related to this institution, I just want my refund because they failed to provide the services.
The provided email is not working at all. I have finally managed to get cancellation forms from their whatsap number and sent them to cancellation department last year November 2022 and till.this date no response or acknowledgements received. I went on resending the forms to the same whatsap line and still no feedback. They also not responding to my messages anymore.
Hi, I did send my complaint to the above email and ccd all the other emails addresses I used before and still no response but kept on getting messages debiting my bank account for the fees. Fortunately my account was kept empty and as such they couldn't for last month.
No cancelation forms sent as requested, nor course cancelation confirmed. Please assist to get this matter resolved.

I enrolled for HR Management Higher Diploma with Intec in July 2021.
I have had issues from the very beginning as I wasn't explained everything in detail. My application was very quick and I got frustrated with the consultant who later on told me that it wasn't his job to help me beyond registration, yet everything I asked was questions that should have been able to be answered when I enquire about the course. I managed to figure some things out very later on.
In January I had assignments due, most of which I submitted but failed. Therefore wasn't able to write the June exam. I have now redone some of the assignments, but couldn't submit them bc I already had previous ones submitted. The due date for these have passed and I called Intec the next day after 3PM where I was advised to call between 9AM and 2PM so I did the following day. The advisor told me the systems were down and she couldn't check the details for me but that someone would call me back. Nobody called me.
I have sent multiple emails since February roughly and I have NEVER been replied to. And I have sent these from the multiple email addresses I have. I haven't received any help or a reply.
I also have received an email with the results of my online assessments completed in January, however am not able to view the email due to the file format, or something. I requested that to be looked into as well - no reply. I need these to be able to see my results.
And now I fear that I will fail because I haven't gotten the help I have literally been begging for in my emails.
I made a payment for 2 subjects in June that I planned to write, but couldn't bc I have not met the required pass mark to be able to write them. I submitted my cancelation request for those, again from multiple email addresses, never received a reply but still got my exam invitation.
My sister and I enrolled for the same course and have the same issue.
I really need to add that Im not getting what Im paying for, and if I cannot get this assistance I will fight for a full refund for what I've already paid. Because I have had nothing but a stressful experience for the entire year.
I need help urgently please.

De-registration
Good day
I have sent a De-Registration and email trails forms on the 10th of May 2022 to the student portal email address, of which I had already on numerous emails did this with the consultant that was assisting me with my registration process, by the name of Shubnum Mideen, the email sent where also addressed to Tanya Haripersad and support email, and still my emails have not been returned and nor the de-registration been done, and yet I am still being debited, I will continue to reverse these. you are affecting my credit score.
The reason for was that the consult never gave me the accurate information with regards to my coarse I had applied for, I was never told I would have to but my text books and study material, until I went to their office, after waiting for these to be delivered as per our discussion, I was not even told I would have to pay an extra R2000 for the registering for my exams.
I wish I had read the hello peter comments before processing my registration with intec, and everyone is complaining with the money being reversed.

Diploma not received

I have finalized my studies in November 2019 with INTEC, I have been sending communication to [protected]@intec.edu.za on 28/10/2019, 17/02/2020, 26/03/2020, 22/06/2020, 18/08/2020, 16/03/2021, 31/03/2021, 07/04/2021, 05/07/2021, 07/09/2021, 03/12/2021, 29/12/2021, 11/01/2022, 09/02/2022, 24/05/2022 & 22/06/2022. As you can see my dates, to date, i still have not received any response to the fact of when i will receive my Diploma even after I have send the award request form on 24/05/2022, also only after numerous as can see to the dates, complaint to the fact.
I will appreciated this been seen as unfair to me by not providing me with my Diploma.

Horrible non-existing service
I have studied through Intec for my Executive Personal Assistant Diploma Level 6. I have completed all my exams, and assignments, I have been emailing them nonstop for the last 2years begging for my exam results back, as well as my diploma. I dont get any answers from them. I have paid my R28+k thousand, and now just dead silence from them.
I had a call 3 weeks ago after months and months off emails, facebook messages etc, saying, they will respond the next day and escalate my complaint, but then nothing again after that. I really just want to get this whole process over and done with. I feel like they took my money and expect me just to disappear!

Support
As a student of Intec, its been since 2020 COVID Lockdown that I am struggling to finish my Mechanical course with Intec and they are giving me 0 support and not even replying back to emails or even phone calls with the excuse the course is no longer available.
Why take my money just to tell me the course is no longer available and with that said not assisting me as a student to complete the course.
I would not recommend Intec/Damelin for any studies as they don't care they just want your money.

no response no assitance
I have been sending emails, in regards to the portal and one of our employees enrollment, i receive a mail it will be attended to but with no response, what is the problem why is there no one answering and assisting answering emails, and queries.
the portal does not show the course she is busy with , i have asked for assistance with no response.
I have send them her assignments and ask again why not on the portal, as you can upload it on the portal still no response.
we cannot booked her exams as the course does not reflect on the portal and poor communication from Intec on the steps to follow to enroll for the exam

Horrendous service
It has been almost two year since I have tried to come in contact with this college with no success.
I have been a student since 2017. And still waiting for exam and assignment marks. When I phone them there is no answer.

Refund
I just need a refund for payment at Intec reason they didn't explain to me that course for horticulture & land scaping they didn't have that collage I find out after I made a payment, early this yr 2022 on April, then I try to call centre they email me a form later on May for refund I send it back. but I register on line not direct to collage month end the debit my money on my account still waiting refund I try to call his offices no tesponce, when I check my email they send me another form for counsellation they say they take a 80%how course I did not submitte even one assignment

Term 1 results
On 18 May 2022 I received an email from INTEC :"You assessments results that are due to be released, will be sent to your institutional email address on Friday the 26th of May 2022." The 26th May came and went, but no results. I decided to follow up numerous times and eventually on the 2nd of June 2022 they replied: " Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in the release of your Term 1 results. We are currently experiencing technical problems with our resulting system and are tending to the issue to ensure that we release your results at the earliest convenience. The College will release your results as soon as the technicalities are resolved."
On the 8th of June 2022 we received our results.
I received 26% for my TERM mark, after receiving 82%, and 88% for two of my assignments. I have tried to contact INTEC for some clarity, through various emails and phone calls, but no answer. This is a pretty massive fall, which I cannot understand.
Desired outcome: I would like you to send me my marked Term 1 Mathematics test so I can see where I went wrong and I would appreciate it if I can have clarity on how the weight of the assignments and test compliment each other.

No exam letter and no refund.
I am still waiting for my JUNE 2022 exam confirmation letter. Fees up to fate even overpaid. I am also due a refund in the past 5 months after providing all relevant documents. I am sent from pillar to post. Already on the second week of June. How do I explain at work that I am writing at the eleventh hour?
Last year they did the same. Forgot to send me confirmation email and I had to be postponed to this year. It keeps gettig worse. The last lady that called me was very condescending. I lost all faith with this institution.

No study material and student support
I registered in September and only received access in October after complaining. I requested assistance and after numerous emails and three months later a TL made contact, naturally this has slowed me down. I enquired three weeks ago with regards to assignment submission and two days ago someone made contact and answered the question. I realised the study material for next course is not available and enquired in the same email about it and this was not addressed. How is it possible that after 8 months all study material for the first year courses has not been loaded. How can you say you have student support when evidently you do not. You have not add the material within 21 days as stated in your T&Cs 2.1. I honestly dont know what to do, request cancellation or support you are unable to provide.
Desired outcome: on the fence - cancel and report to arbitrator or give another chance and +- 30 emails later.

Exam confirmation for june/july 2022
I've sent numerous emails and tried to call intec on many occasions to get my exam confirmation sent through to me. The service at this institution is absolutely ridiculous but when it's time for payment they are able to quickly contact us...how do we submit the letter/confirmation to the companies we work for inorder to apply for study leave if it's so damn difficult to get the letter from intec. My fees I paid in full yet I'm sitting with this issue each time I have to write an exam. This is the most pathetic institution and I will never use intec again or even recommend them to anyone wishing to study. Everyone that answers the phone (if ever they eventually do answer) are so rude, do u even train your staff? This is ridiculous, I expect to be contacted or I will take this matter further [protected] or else I want all my money paid back and I will use a more competent institution to study at.

No Response for Cancelling my Studies
I had to cancel my studies due to loss of income and Covid. My contract says 2 months notice.
I send through the first email in September 2021. Since that day, I have send through email requesting a response 3 times a week. I am CC in 5 other emails I could find on the Intec Website.
They still take the money from my account, I have to make plans just to meet ends every month and they do not even have the audacity to reply on one email.
I counted the amount of emails that was send through, I almost @ 100 emails without any response!
Is there anyway someone can help me here?

Purposely delaying refund
I registered with them, completed 6 assignments and they didn't mark them. I begged and pleaded for them to mark the assignments but it never happened so I cancelled the course. They then tried to penalize me for cancellation and tried to force me to pay them more money. Eventually they came to the conclusion that they owe me a refund, after making me wait for their decision (3months about) and then appeal the decision and wait for the decision of the appeal (another 3 months). The process has taken almost a year to date. After numerous staff lied to me and said the money would be paid soon or had been paid I was told they only have to pay it 'within 90 days' and they still had time so I must wait. I did. They didn't pay. I have been ignored, snapped at and had my calls ended numerous times and they still ignore me. Their student advisors ignore me. Their student call line never answers but their sales line answers immediately. They only care if they can get your money. Once they have it you are nothing but an irritation to these people. They do not follow any of the regulations that the department of education has in place. They do as they please and when it comes to refunding a person, they will keep you running around and throw their 'policy' at you as much as they can for as long as they can. At this rate I see no other option but to take this matter further and lay a complaint with the department of education or take legal action as Intec has breached the contract I signed twice already.
Desired outcome: I just want them to process the refund so I never have to deal with them again.
