North Central Theological Seminary

North Central Theological Seminary is in the process of rebuilding its image. The school is trying to obtain regional accreditation which will defiintely improve their reputation. Only time will tell if they are successful.

From a personal perspective, my experience has been quite interesting. I found the course work to be acceptable. Without question, a bit of rigor is indeed needed. Perhaps more asynchronous instruction is warranted in tandem with a brief in-person, hybrid, or virtual academic setting (e.g., Zoom session). This will definitely raise the learning expectation of the customer (i.e., student). Other than that the administrative officials were prompt and very professional in their replies to me. I have no major issues with the seminary.

I have called the University numerous times regarding getting my classes loaded in the portal to no avail. I already paid all monies due for the program I am taking - the program is self paced so I took my time due to other obligations that I have had. I was able to resume my work in the portal however I am have experience an exorbitant amount of time in getting response. I have emailed, called and still the wait time is this is unacceptable. Again - I paid all monies that I was supposed to (the programs is paid for) I still am awaiting for my classes to be loaded and to take my necessary exams.

I got introduced to this company by an old boss. They were supposed to assist me in obtaining an honorary degree, but they said I had to pay $1500. I made one payment, but they took a second payment without me knowing. I've been trying to reach out to them, but they haven't responded. Now, I'm starting to think this might be a scam.
