I too have bitter experience from India Post. they are very lazy and unorganized.

Dear Sir,

My demat account related document send by ICICI Direct.com on 19th Feb by speed post is still awaited.

On contacting, Speed post authorities stated, wait till holi or after 13rd March things shall be delivered.

The POD no is EM2283060481N.

what's the use of speed post if a document cannot be delivered from a state capital to another state capital even after 15 days.

I request u to shut down speed post or name it "Delayed post services "as it delays than a normal post.

sir the matter is that on 12-08-08 I come that post at 2.00 pm and I ask him for registerd post he is telling to me that the registerd post service
is not their you should go any other post office I said ok but his known persone come he is just doing registry when I insist his words that (main nahi karta jo kar sakta hai kar ley) sir when I telling him about complaint he said ( ja jes marge ko bool de)
respected sir their is no disiplan and sir I sugust that their should be a signboard which shown their timings I am realy verysory to say that their is your service is realy very poor and that persons realy have no manners.

But i am very sorry to say that today Postman come to my home and told that this Three (3) register are very big. so, you have to come and collect it from Head Post Office, Lalbazar, Bharuch.

So, Sir / Madam.. Is there any rules defined for that, that if parcel is big than person has to collect from HPO. Kindly clarify it.

Otherwise i have to inform the University don't send the parcels from Speedpost or via Indian post... just send it via courier...

My sister Mrs. Aditi Ghosh, sent a parcel with some articles for my ailing mother, Mrs. Mukul Ghosh, on 3rd June, 2008, from Secundrabad Head Post Office, Secundrabad, Andhra Pradesh.

The no was EN625585446IN.

The details given by Secundrabad Post Office shows, the bag reached Kolkata Airport on 3rd June at 19:43:40 hours.

From there it has not yet reached our residence in Barrackpore till to date ( 21st June, 2008).

We contacted Kolkata GPO ( ph. no [protected] ) and they gave us different times to call and finally told that the bag can't be traced.

Then again we contacted Mr. S.K. Halder, Manager, Speed Post Dept. GPO [protected]) on 19th of June and he assured it has reached and we will get that by 19th June. But till today, 21st June, we have not received the parcel.

The parcel contained goods costing more that Rs. 1000.

May I know where the parcel is gone ?

Who is responsible for this ?

We have printed proof that the documents reached GPO, Kolkata, then where is the parcel ?

How long we common people will suffer for the callousness of these so called central govt. employees ?

Why Mr. S.K. Halder, holding a responsible post is telling lies ?

I suggest that instead of increasing the salaries, DA s of these IDIOTS very year, the Central Govt. should also assess their performance.

There are many competent people in India, who are not getting jobs. Proper people should be recruited for the proper positions and these worthless IDIOTS, who come to decorate the office, should be literally KICKED OUT OF OFFICE.

I will be sending this complaint to every possible department.

not got my importan document which was a migration certificate from pune and was sendon 9th april 2008.tillthe date i didnt got it.the registry no is 11431

this is rashmi.i did my graduation from pune.now im going to do my mba course from bangalore.for that i need my migration certificate.i filled the form on 3rd april and submmited them on 3rd april.they told me i will get my migratin certificate after threee to four weeks.but since it was too late i said my brother to go and enquire in the university.he told taht the university has already send the migration certificate on 9/4/2008.but till the date i didnt got it.the registry no is 11431.
sir kindly help me.as it is the matter of my carrier.without my migration my addmission will be cancelled.i will be greatful to u if u can help me

I have sent letter to post office pin 333516, Singhania University via speed post on 30 July, 2008 via speed post number ED745866465IN, which contained fees draft for my son.

Till today, 12 September it is not delivered. The website of speed post gives no information and the telephone number of delivery assistant, 011-[protected], [protected] is never attanded. The mobile number of the official on Speed Post site [protected] is never picked up.

I have given written complained in booking post office( Sarita Vihar) on 4Nov with my mobile numbers but these idiots have no courtsey to revert back or update.

I had a bitter experience with Indiaspeedpost service. I ordered an item from Hongkong and they delivered to indian speedpost service. When i checked with the indiaspeedpost website i found no records. When i try to telephone their office i found the strange and surprising all fake numbers provided in their website. I couldn't get any correct number from their site. At last, i managed to call their Delhi branch office to track the details, it was my surprise that no one care customer's graveness. Someone picked the phone and told its lunch time and cut the phone. I was calling an International call and i told him i am calling from England. I tried after sometime as well, but no luck, our speedpost officers take the phone and put it back in the ### and letting others go to hell. After all, i been waiting for the parcel for 25 days and till no information. Pity on India's speedpost service. India is growing in the world rapidly and still, its make surprise and hate the system and bloody irresponsible behavior of the concerned department. My strong suggestion is "NEVER USE INDIASPEEDPOST" at any cost.

I registered a complaint in ICICI bank regarding some financial instruments, the replied me back on 1st of Oct 2007, through speed post. The Post was placed at Mumbai on 1st of Oct 2007, and reached Kolkata on 5th Oct 2007, through Air. Can a air trvel take such a long time? then why it i for the post which was urgent?
Ok considering 2nd Oct as national holiday, is the air traffic was also on holiday that very day?

If this is the standard of our service then why we are blaming on private players.
It is established again that the India Post is incompetent of providing any good service.

My parents sent my passport by speed post on 10th sep 2007. but till today i didn't receive the same. If I track the No it show that the article was reached to Vikhroli, Mumbai on 12th but it was not delivered till today. Please don't use speed post for your mailing as it shows the Indian govt strategy.

this is really painful to share complain about indian post. My father sent a speed post on 15nth february from Bihar to Jaipur where i m currently residing. It was a very important document related to my career...so thinking about the delivery within 3 days in India ... so it was sent via speedpost. But thnx to INDIAN POST it was delivered to me on 10 nth of March...what a .. poor service being provided by indian post...i m really finished...because it was a document & i missed a golden opportunity bcoz of indian postal service...THNX FOR THE SERVICE ...KEEP IT UP...WAISE BHI HAMARA DESH INHIN SAB KARNON SE MAHAN HAI...

I have send one courier to Germany on 7th May 2010 but it is still not reached Germany even after 7 days

I sent a speed post from Malkapur to mumbai on 13-Jan-2010 but it has not reached the destination till 19 jan . Is this speed post. When I contacted the branch ie. saki naka & malkapur & chembur they told me we dont know. It was a very important document. It is very iritating. poor service from India post.

I visited this site only when i got to suffer. The Regional passport office chandigarh sent my wife's passport thru speedpost on 24.12.2009 & chd post office assuring me that it will be delivered after 24hrs to my place which is merely 70kms from chd. And to my great surprise today is 29th dec & i am still waiting for it no wonder how much i have tried to get it by going to speed post centres of 3 cities thru which it had to travel to reach my place thouh unnecessary. If you think delay is the only problem then think about it today was the last date to submit my passport to canadian embassi for visa purpose. God knows what will happen?
Definitely its VERY VERY VERY SLOW SPEED SERVICE
And it really sucks.
...any suggestions for addressing my problem?

I am really disappointed by the Indian Post. I dispatched a Packet on 26th Nov 2007 with the Parcel no: ei026696699 , it was delived only today it was a x mas gift,, he didnmt recive i thought he can use it on new year The destination was canada.The amount which is charged for international post was 668rs for 280 gramsand the irony is even after spending so much of money the parcel is not delivered and the worst part is there is no information online,when feeded the number it says :
" Delivery information is not available at present.
Please try again later " .
The more ridiculous thing is the links for Complaint Registration dont work. It just doesnt let you submit the complaint and International destination cities are overlooked.
This is just inacceptable, there are so many emotions attached with a gift sent out and when something like this happens its too sad. I hope some enquiry is done or atleast some could tell me whom should we contact in this case . Help will be highly appreciated. and i need a refund too

Indian Postal staff are corrupt and dishonest.
My experience especially with DLF Phase IV, Galleria Post office staff, an iPhone purchased on eBay was shipped... Tracked until leaving sorting facility and before reaching Local post office. I had been checking everyday for the parcel at the post office was told parcel not arrived. After 6 days of follow up decided to to a physical track of package to find the parcel was stollenn at the local post office.
Now writing letters to superintendent since last 20 days and while I have been told inquiry completed and culprit found, I have not yet been given anything in writing.

I have money order done on 19/06/2007 mo no A398 of amount 1400/- Rs to kesariya bihar from daman it is 1 month passed for the money order but the money have not reached to my destination the concern officer does not answer from daman they say we have send it on the same day and we will accept no complain before 45 days and from kesariya they say we have not received the order now what should i do.
