I sent few important documents from USA for my Parents Visa.
They are old and can not travel multiple times to Mumbai, so the timely delivery of the documents is important for us.

Its a simple thing my friends. If your item is expensive or any one who opens likes it, than how do you thing they will send it to you? :) Its normal Indian tuccha behavior. Next time don't buy from overseas as there are sincere people in between the transit who have their hands on your article. lol More than 20 articles out of 25 never dispatched to me in past one year so I decided to stop buying things from overseas as I will not be able to receive them since people from RMS will steal it for sure or custom guys might love the item and keep it as whatever is imported in India they have first right on the item, correct me if I am wrong. good luck!

I sent an EMS parcel to Lucknow vode ED [protected] IN on 17 feb 2014. All contents were stolen and empty packed delivered back to me. No one listens to you in Post Office and EMS complaints on website are not answered.

if you want to track ems speed post within india use this weblink : http://www.indiapost.gov.in/Tracking.aspx#Tracked . just type the tracker number in the empty box where it says enter consignment number and click on go (see photo no.1)
if you want to track ems speed post sent outside india use this weblick: http://www.indiapost.gov.in/ and click on the blue button which says "IPS WEB Tracking" (see photo no.2)and another page will be displayed and enter your tracking number in the empty box (see photo no.3).I hope this helps someone :)

Please help, my consignment number is EA018409056AU. Why the EMS Speed Post courier still lying in Mumbai which was dispatched from Brisbane on 27th May 2014. It's more than 72 hours lying in Mumbai. The due date for the submitting my docs is 7th June 2014. Every minute of my life is horrible. I will go in depression if I don't get the courier on time. My seller sent my package from Spain on 30th Jan, 2014 via Correos - Espana - Tracking No: RR812177979ES. According the tracking the item is held at customs on 5th Feb, 2014 and after which there hasn't been any progress according to the tracking. Has it reached Bangalore customs? Whom should I contact to get my package released from customs? Should I go in person to get it from the office? If yes, Which office should I go collect them from? sir i had tracking no EA166078578HK the sellers from Hong kong had send the parcel through speed post Hong kong on 31st december 2013 and the status shows that "Left to destination" which is india. but no further updates. Our supplier is awaiting delivery of our brand labels and they appear to be stuck processing at the Mumbai processing center. Should we just get them reprinted and sent via DHL? I didn't realise this was such a doggy option as I used Australia Post.

sir i had tracking no ee690283573cn the sellers from china had send the parcel through ems on 5th of september 12 but after reaching mumbai my parcel is not there after waiting 15 days i called to mubaqi custom they told me that we dont have this tracking number parcel plz lodge complain in china ems, now they are saying we had sent you we cant lodge complain here but you can lodge from there as it is in india.

receiving parcel in India by EMS is tooooooo hard sometimes it takes a month or more then that also they charge extra tex, mess up almost stuffs, rarely steal some stuff, no resposibility about service. even if u ask about your parcel to India, they will tell u that tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, and next week...
Unfortunately no sending parcel to India by EMS is the best way...
absolutely wasting money, wasting time, wasting energy.

I sent a parcel from Australia on December 12 2011 and till date there is no information from anyone on what happened to it in India. Paying $50 is a waste. Better to use professional services like DHL/UPS/FEDEX. They give timely tracking of the consignments. If this continues then the business to SPEEDPOST will drop down and eventually the employees will be chucked out. Hope the employees of Indian Post understand the importance of timely services to the mass and improve their attitude. India cannot be a global player with such pathetic public services.

I have a similar complaint like most people here. A parcel has been sent to me via EMS from Nigeria to India since 30/11/2011 but till date, i am yet to receive the parcel. The parcel consist of a Laptop & a shirt and it has since 4/12/2011 been lying with the Mumbai Customs. I have never experienced such service before and it is unbearable. I am a foreign student studying in the University of Bangalore and i need the laptop to aid my studies. My tracking number is EE320249515NG. I like to add here after long last, my package arrived at the local post office. Get ready for this...
I had to pay a customs duty of 10, 000 INR which is close to 250 USD ! That is literally double the cost of the damn tablet! which i could have used to buy an IPAD2

To add further insult to injury: The customs people had ripped open the package to "see" the contents inside and have damaged the tablet glass in the process. SO basically after paying close to 500 USD, i am left with an exotic tablet from Mcbub that may end up being a wall hanging.

Let this be a warning to all of you who order from Mcbub and who live in India.

All you people who are saying that EMS status update is 'Handed over to Customs - Mumbai'. PLEASE FORGET ABOUT YOUR PARCEL, IT IS AS GOOD AS STOLEN BY THOSE PEOPLE. YOU WILL NEVER GET IT.
I was to get a package from China 2 months ago which is still stuck with those bstds at Mumbai. I live in Chennai. tonnes of calls, Numerous mails etc. nothing. I have forgotten about it as a bad experience and moved on.
The seller Mcbub.com is also a thief as they know that DHL/ FEDEX is safer and reliable for us, but for their internal cost cutting they sent it via EMS which is the same as dumping it in the Ocean, especially when it goes over to Mumbai Customs which is pretty much owned by Dawood Ibrahim.
