Huntington Bank - Fraud/overdraft fees on their behalf

I was tricked into purchases of bitcoins over 9, 350 dollars of a scam on bitcoin trading in February 24 2019-November 2019. When I called Huntington bank back in March of 2019 they gave me a new bank card and did a investigations on the purchases of the bitcoin. They sent me a long letter that everything on there end looked great and that I would not be getting my money back.
I continued to deal with the trading site because my bank said that everything looked great.
By now I had to give the trading company more money because now I am paying the company brokers fees so I can have the money transferred into my Huntington bank account.
By the end of the year and pleading with the trading company whom took my money to which my trading amount was never transferred I faxed Huntington bank 34 pages of the whole contract transfers and everything I had on the company.
Once again Huntington closed the investigation for the second time saying that everything was fine and I will not be reimbursed of my thousand and thousands of dollars.
I am sick of reading how others in the media have been played by the famous bitcoin trade and their banks were kind enough to give them back there money that was stolen from them.
Now the topping of the cake...
Last year in November-December when i had them reopen the case for the second time its called second look because now I have lost a couple more thousands of dollars trying to get my money back from the trading company after paying off all my fees with the trading company. Huntington bank this time lent me $300 while the second investigation was going on.
In January of this year 2020 I was scheduled for surgery and would be out of work for 6 weeks so I was determined to get this over with and get my money back and be able to heal while recovering with no worries on finances. I worked all the way until surgery and had enough money to write out two checks for utilities and then a little left over until disability check would be deposited.
Little did I know Huntington bank once again closed the case after sending (faxing) 34 pages on which they claim only got the first page. I had to go to my local bank while trying to recover to give them the papers to email to Columbus so they would have the proof of the contract with the trading site the company name to which again they claim they closed the investigation and their final words from Huntington bank that they would not reopen the investigation again and I would not be reimbursed of my funds now I am out of $34 dollars from the fax papers they claim they did not receive only the first page which (had the case number and my name and contact) on which they never called me to let me know.
Huntington bank took back their $300 out of my account fine that was their money however they returned my utility bills I had arranged to pay and with drew their money instead and charged my returning checks and overdraft fees from that date of over $575.00.
I have talked to Huntington bank.
Opening and closing cases and saying that the company looks good and everything is fine, not reimbursing my thousands of dollars, not getting their faxes having me lose $34 out of pocket and charging overdraft fees on which they did themselves is not the bank I am looking for.
So I am out of thousand of dollars because of the lack of communication and over draft fees from Huntington bank.
This case of mine had been opened and closed since March of last year it has be going on a full year of costing me more money to this day.
It will continue to grow in overdraft fees. Tradespace247 trading site had since disappeared off the planet in hiding. No money from the plate form and no reimbursement from Huntington bank.

Huntington Bank - held my paycheck

When I moved back to Columbus, after 10 months working cross country after college, I went to reopen a checking and savings account at HB. Previously, I had an account with them for 20 years and worked for them for a year during college.

When I moved back I bought a house and a car, thus emptying my savings account. I got a nice relocation package and signing bonus with my new job though. Unfortunately, it took about a month for my direct deposit to kick in.

A week after starting my job I deposited my bonus check (several thousand dollars). A day later I went to do an ATM withdraw and noticed there was only a couple hundred in my account. I immediately went in to confirm and they told me to talk to the manager.

So, I wait nearly 45 min in the lobby while the manager is in his office carrying on a non-business related conversation with someone. Finally, he calls me in. I sit down (it was a Saturday, so I was in a hoodie and jeans) and explain the situation. He says yes, all new accounts are required by the government to have 10 holds placed on them. (lie #1, its optional) This was a check issued by a multi-billion dollar company, I fairly certain it will clear. I then explain the situation about me being a former customer and having worked for them and everything. So then, he says, "well if you worked here, why am I having to explain the banking laws to you." By this point I'm boiling, I said to him that it has been over 4 years since I have worked at a bank and its my right as a customer to know why your holding my money. His response, "I have to keep that hold on your account until I feel comfortable that you will not be kiting checks." (lie # 2 - max is 30 days)

I could not believe it; not only was he holding my money, and lying to me, he was also accusing me of being thief. At this point I storm out of his office. I immediately call my former Huntington manager to let her know what just happened to me and she put me in touch with Customer Service. I tell them the situation and how them holding my money would limit my ability to even feed myself. They put in a an incident report and said they would be in touch. A couple days later I got a call from the VP of Customer Service. She apologized profusely and said this was not the first time that they had a problem with this manager. I said to her, then why is he still there. No response. I ended the call saying appreciate the quick apology, but was soured by the whole experience and will no longer be banking with them and demanding immediate access to my money. They complied.

Long story short, forget these big banks. They only way they will change their ways is when they start feeling it in their quarterly earnings reports. My advice stick to the community banks and credit unions.
