i bought a Hp laptop (dv 6767) in first week of June and was supposed to get a wifi music receiver and a wireless headset. I sent the needed documents and a dd of Rs 500 to the Hp redemption cell. I even got a mail from them that they have received the documents and my gifts are approved and i"l get them in 6-8 weeks. Its October now and I dont have a clue where my gifts are.. I dint expect Hp to cheat me this way, i m loosing my faith in Hp. certainly my next purchase will not be a Hp product.

i buy one hp pavillion laptop van from gorakhpur 4 months back
and sent all the documents with a DD of Rs 500/- but no confirmation, no reply from them. They don't pick the phone either..### ! It has been 4 months now and I am repeatably emailing them with all the details. No reply yet mother^%$#@

We have purchased a laptop & we were supposed to get a Wi-Music receiver free. For that we sent a DD of Rs.500/- in the name of "SOLUTIONS INTEGRATED MARKETING SERVICES PVT. LTD." to the HP redemption cell. Till now we have not received the gift. It seems that HP is not interested in saving their prestige. Because many others people have the same problem.

I purchased a HP Photosmart C4290 in December of last year and was to receive a promotional digital photo frame.
It has now been 8 months and i still not have reveived this item.
After ringing the Promotional helpline several times they were of no use. Some would say it has been sent out to you already and others would say im sorry they were sent back becuase they were faulty. Well i finally spoke to a Team Leader (Norma) Who apologised and said she would get back to me at the end of the week. 2 Months passed by and no phone or no photo frame.
I have since rung back and got the same dam message we have no ETA on this product. Im sorry but that is just not good enough. If you cannot offer this product DO NOT PROMOTE IT!
The service manager was meant to ring me back according to Norma in about 15 minutes. Well its been 1 full day and no phone call.
Im sick of this run around and want some assistance or a resolution to this NOW!

i think they are doing this to everybody..well going through all the above comments i feel a brand like HP should understand the importance of its customers in today's world, b'coz this is not only about the trust on their products but it shows a negligence and a f@#k bothered attitute. i had purchased a hp laptop almost more than a year ago now and i have till date not received my free gift too..which was supposed to be an ipod shuffle.. reading all the messages above i feel now that its useless to hope for something like that. I must say that these guys are cheaters AND DO NOT TRUST HP PRODUCTS ANYMORE.

From past 4 months i am waiting, but there is no reply from the redemption cell, i hope there exist a redemption cell of HP or these hp is cheating people by collecting the cheques or drafts. But i have not recieved my gift.

On 11 january i got an email that they have dispached my gift, but till today i didnt got my gift.
whenever i call them they ask me to send an email to redemption cell, and i had sent so many email but neither i got any reply nor i recieved my free gift

Now its more than 4 months and i feel i got cheated by the big name HP, they are cheaters.

But i will not leave the company in this way, i have full document with me and penalized yhe company in the criminal and consumer court.

I agree there have been quite a few issue with the HP redemptions. I would like to suggest you all to write to HP on esc_helpdesk@hp.com for a speedy resolution on these issue.

I bought a hp Pavilion tx 1003au laptop, along with which they had promised a free iPOD after providing all documents and a cheque of 500 rupees. They acknowledgment me the receive of my documents on 4th august and asked me to wait for 8 weeks. But since then it has been more than 10 weeks, I have not received anything. I checked my account and found that my Rs 500 cheque has already cashed in their favor on 25th August and it is end of October now. I mailed them twice but got no reply. Whenever I call them, the put me on voice main but never contact afterwards.

They have no right to claim "assuring the best of our attention & services at all times", which they write all the times.

I Bought a hp pavilion Notebook model no- 2519. There was an apple ipod free with the Notebook. I claimed in HP REDEMPTION CELL and about two months are going to past, but I didn't get it yet. Although my balance has been deducted as I have given the check for it.

Today morning I was searching phone number of HP redemption cell site and then i got into this webpage-
I bought a HP laptop some 6 months back , I was told if i fill in the required documents and Pay 500 rs.
I will be delivered free TV tuner cards , However after 5 months i have received nothing.
500 rs are already paid to HP .
I dont know wheather these people will deliver my TV tuner card or not but this is for sure i will not allow them to just walk away.

I fully agree With Prof. Gupta, it's time for us to tech them a lesson by combining our efforts. Please let me know if there is a way to tackle this. We can drag them to consumer court if required. HP attracts customers like this and back off when you are claiming gifts from them. I am waiting for the last 2 month. Truly unprofessional and unacceptable. We cannot be ignored like this, it's a consumer's world & they have to provide us prompt service or return back our hard earned money.

I was promised Free Gift of Cartridge of Laser Jet M 1005 on the purchase of HP Computer System+Pronter+UPS on sending a draft of Rs.250/- and all other required documents.
The firm confirmed that everything is OK and the gift shall be sent in 6-8 weeks. On reminder, they expressed inability to send for want of stock and promised to send it very soon.

Now 4 months have passed. Their phone No. 011-[protected] always gives the recorded message that the executives are busy and directs to record message on Voice Mail. The Voice Mail says that the space is full and no message can be recorded. Can all the victims of the fraud played by the company join hands in teaching them a lesson?

I fully agree with that. I had been waiting patiently ever since I registered for the free gifts which was assured for purchase of HP 1020 & 1022 since May,2006. HP is growing smarter and is playing with customers money. Someone should act now.
