I have been to this location at least 4 or 5 times and only got served once, with what I wanted. Every time I go, they will take my order, which is the Tavern Club on Ciabatta bread with no mustard. I either have to get it cold or I either have to get it with no bacon, because they always say the oven is broke. So now I'm leaving out empty handed because I didn't come for a cold sandwich and I love a sandwich with bacon on it. I live in Groveport Ohio and to me that's a waste of gas to hear that the stove is down every time, but someone is coming to fix it tomorrow. I mean what business do that? I'm just saying. I ordered a honey baked ham and some sides for Father's Day which were to be ready at 10:00 am the day before. I placed my order over a week in advance and called back to confirm it. My husband went at 10:15 to pick the order up and they said, it's not ready. He patiently waited while they made the sides and got the order ready. We went to serve this the next day at a family celebration and the glaze was so hard you couldn't even cut it. It was like the ham was wearing a helmet! Due to the fact that the glaze hadn't dripped down between the slices, there was no honey glazed taste to the ham. Everyone was asking about the glaze. We paid $84.00 for this half ham and it was an embarrassment to say the least. I called a couple of days after to speak to the manager (owner) and she wasn't in. I told the girl what happened and asked her to have the manager (owner) call me. I waited two days and never heard back so I called again. I got the same girl and she said, I told her about it and I'm sorry she didn't call you back. I said, please tell her I will wait another day and if she doesn't have the decency to return my call, I will write reviews on her. She never called. We have bought numerous honey baked hams over the years and never encountered one like this. For an owner not to respond to a customer complaint is unheard of. I could have bought a bigger ham at Costco for about $25.00 that would have tasted better than this and I wouldn't have to explain to my guests why the honey glaze looked like a helmet on the ham. I will never order from Honey Baked Ham again and will be sure and tell everyone about this terrible experience at the Polaris Store.

On Easter, 2019, I picked up a half ham. I have not purchased a Honey Baked ham for quite a while due to the cost, but wanted to make this particular Easter a special event. After spending $60 on a ham, I unwrapped the ham to see large glass-like shards of "glaze" that came off with the foil. The "glaze" is what makes a honey baked ham a "Honey Baked ham" - a small strip of glaze is supposed to adhere to each slice of ham, right? With the M & M like quality of the ham (i.e., a candy-coated ham where palm-sized pieces fall off when you slice the meat), it's really just a plain ham with an inedible rock candy shell. What's the point? When I spoke to the manager of the Anaheim store she explained that previous customers had complained the glaze was too light. Well, I guess they fixed that, right? They made the glaze SO THICK to shut the customer up--but now who can eat that? I inquired of the California Customer Service line, and the girl who answered my question was the same girl from the Anaheim store. I would like to know if all stores are doing it this way. Please Honey Baked tell me if this is your new protocol. If so--I'll stick to the grocery store. If you tell me the Anaheim, CA store is doing it all wrong--I'll go to the store in Upland, CA. I recently purchased the Peach bundt cake and it was delivered today. I looks like a full size Bundt cake in the pictures. It is labeled 71/2" however, it is actually 11/2 inches high by 6 inches wide. It looks like a sampler. I was charged 29.99 for this! I called customer service who refuses to make this right. Very poor customer service and deceptive advertising. I used a standard dinner plate for visual reference.I could have made a full size cake for $2. Ridiculous!

For years the company I worked for gave employees a gift certificate for a ham or turkey. I loved them and have been familiar with quality of the meat. I am now on a fixed income so when I spend the amount I spent on the ham, prime rib and turkey breast it's a major deal for me to not get what I'm expecting. This order was for me to have convenient portions for my meals. It was not for a family gathering.
I let the 3 items thaw enough that I could package a meal portion, then keep in the freezer as needed.
The ham was like brine to the extent you couldnt get the taste of the glaze. But I have to eat it anyway because I spent my grocery money on these items.
The prime rib was mostly fat. I have no issue with a good piece of beef marbled with fat..it adds flavor. But the amount of meat I got from the prime rib was a very small amount. The last three slices of prime rib were the only pieces that were not mostly fat. The flavor was good, the product was a waste of another $90's of my grocery money.
I've attached a picture of the prime rib. There is no way to capture taste from a photo so I can't show you my disappointment in the ham.
The turkey breast was o.k. but I can get deli meat for $6.99lb.

your company charged me for a honeybaked ham i didnt order as soon as i got an email that they delivered a second ham i called and was told that it was your mistake so i wouldnt be charged but you charged my credit card for the ham. i order a ham every year for the last 5 or 6 years but if this is not handled i will not order another and will call the better business bureau i would like a check sent to me or credit my credit card. waiting to hear from you...my name is joann Bosley email [protected]@aol.com...please handle this quickly

On 11/23/2018 I called and placed an order for 3 different friends/family members (your order #1610697). I usually order on line, but your web site wasn't working and hadn't been working for 3 days. The total for my purchase was $259.82. I gave the girl two $50 gift cards with the pin numbers expecting the cards to be applied to my purchase, but they were not. I checked the card values on line a week later and they each had $50. In early December I placed an on line pickup order for a ham and turkey breast for Christmas eve. When I tried to apply the cards to my purchase in Orem, Utah, the value was $0. You folks need to screen your help better to prevent this type of theft. If I have fraudulent charges on my credit card I will know where they originated.

I had a $35.00 gift card which got me a VERY small ham... it came to $35.18... the cashier literally held up the line while I had to go back out to my car (Cleveland Ohio) in the snow to get the .18 cents!

Our company hosted a holiday party and we ordered for 12 offices from different honey baked hams. I was asked to put my card info in while placing the order but I got bombarded with phone calls the morning of the day of the event asking me for card information. THEN 1 location was 30 minutes late (cumberland), another was TWO HOURS LATE (peachtree city), and another one NEVER SHOWED UP (lawrenceville) Nobody bothered to call and inform us. I had to contact them and when I did they acted like they did not know what my order was and kept placing me on hold in the middle of our holiday meeting. I ordered these platters days in advance. We are a healthcare company and blocked specific times with planned delivery to not see patients so our employees could eat. The food did not get there in time so they missed lunch to take care of patients. When I tried calling to see where the food was in Lawrenceville, the phone was ringing for 23 minutes before anyone answered the phone. We ordered from you all last year and you were late then too. This is unacceptable and we will never plan a catering event with you all again since you cannot treat your customers with enough respect to let them know you are running late. I understand this is a busy season for you all. But this is the worst service, from the ordering process, delivery and post delivery. I ordered a ham (Your Confirmation Number: HBCA100190318 Your Order Number: 863892 ) to be delivered on Thursday Dember 6th and a friend wait at my house all day Thursday. The Ham was not delivered and the UPS man lied about knocking on the door. Please note we required a signature because of potential package theft.
I called and complained and had my partner stay at home all day Friday and it never was delivered. Mind you this was for a party on Saturday.
I called UPS because I could not get ahold of Hone baked. UPS GUARAENTEED the delivery. Because it was not delivered as promised I asked UPS to return too sender out of fear of contamination of the ham. Below is the transcript

I would have picked up a new ham but SF no longer has a store and I had to be at my party at 9:30 on Saturday. Not only did I not get my ham, I had to purchase another non HB Brand . All in all it was around $70.00 for the HB Ham and $70 for the replacement ham, not to mention the sleep I lost trying find a alternative.
I did complain on the HB website about non delivery but they have not responded. I want to be reimbursed for the original ham and the backup one.
OK, finally got ahold of Honey Baked Hams. They are issuing a refund.
Of course, the experience with UPS was horrible. They basically said they could not call the truck and they said at one point the item had not been scaned inn 22 hours.
I had to buy a replacement ham only to find out someone had also bought a replacement so In my opinion UPS will refund me the $70+ I paid for it. It turned out not needed for the party so I had to "eat the cost".

For years my family has purchased Honey Baked Hams for Easter and Thanksgiving, and sometimes even Christmas and since we don't have one very close by we sometimes get ones for friends, but it is time to stop.
The last three hams we have bought have either been inedible or just not good. The inedible one was so salty we had to throw it away, but it was the first bad one ever so I gave them a pass. The next one was not as salty but also not good to eat. Now this Thanksgiving I decided to give them another chance remembering all the great hams we had in years past, disappointing. The ham was over 8 pounds and almost $90 and no one wants to eat it. The old hams were a delightful combination of sweet and savory but this one had almost none of the "honey" in a Honey Baked Ham. I'm sorry to say this will be my last purchase from Honey Baked Ham and I will miss it.

I purchased a bone in ham, approximately 8 lbs at the West Covina store, California on November 21 at about 1330. We did not eat the ham til November 24 because my husband work on Thanksgiving day and the day after. My family's and friends question the ham. They said "are you sure its honeybake, its lighter then usual." I told them, of course but couldn't figure out what was wrong with the ham. My husband said it has no sugar glazed on top and when I try the ham it was very salty. I don't recall the honeybake ham in past years being so salty
I'm very disappointed, expecting post Thanksgiving dinner would be just as good as previous every year.

Paid for delivery of ham on 9/2/18 for delivery 11/21/18 it did not arrive. I am still on hold waiting for help. The answering machine says it will be 35 minutes before they will get to me. Worst service ever. I have sent 12 messages via their message service they do not respond. I want my money back.
On hold again now waiting to find out when they will give me my money back. Very sorry I did business with Honey Baked Ham. Another 16 minutes on hold an still they are not on the line. I assumed this would arrive on 21 November 2018 but it did not. They said they refunded me on 6 September but they did not. How can they still be in business?
California office said they refunded me but they did not. I was told supervisor would call me back today she did not. I had to call my Bank and make a complaint.

I bought a hundred dollars worth of your product today and now I am making real corn bread dressing-I was told you were a georgia based company and if that's true you sure know the difference in cornbread dressing and those glorified croutons y'all call dressing-I am disabled and I had to send for my products-you were out of sweet potatoes which, no biggy - because yours is runny-but the dressing was the last straw-I understand its hard to find help now and most are meth heads around here. All the same I learned again why not to buy your sides-you have a happy thanksgiving and hire a southern cook. Everytime I try to shortcut it comes up short with your sides

Warning this is the worst company ever, as I ordered a dinner for my sister and brother who just got out of the hospital from a stoke. I called up several times about this order, and all I got was no problems it is scheduled. I called up three time on the 11/21/2018 and talked to two stupid people as they are not allowed to have the customer talk to a supervisor. The 3rd time the lady took my information and gave it to the supervisor and sure enough the order was never processed. They processed a refund but then I had to call my sister know the meal was not coming. The worst company ever.
The same thing happened to me. Altogether, I wasted 3 hours of my time trying to get to customer service. The first time, I was disconnected after being on hold for 2.5 hrs. I spent another 40 min talking to two incompetent reps (one was a supervisor) who kept trying to dispute me and did not want to offer a full refund. It is insulting that the most they offer is a refund for all the customer's time wasted. They need to do more than that.

I purchased a Honey Ham Thanksgiving dinner for my Sister & family. I ordered on 11/17 & arranged for delivery for 11/21. She received a only a partial shipment today. Since I live across the country from my Sister, I contacted Honey Ham Customer Service about my concerns. I spoke to Ken in CS, he told me that the items I was missing were set for delivery for Friday, day after Thanksgiving. He told me it was a problem with UPS & Honey Ham was notified of it yesterday. I asked why I was not notified by Honey Ham, they have my email, phone #, so other arrangements could be made. No answer...I paid $32.00 for this delivery that wasn't going to happen in time for the Holiday. I told him I wanted a refund, although the rest of the shipment is scheduled for Friday, he said he was unable to give me a refund. So I asked to speak to his Supervisor, he immediately put me on "hold" for 25 minutes, no one ever came to the phone.
Honey Ham's Customer Service is a joke, not sure why they answer the phone...wait the Supervisor never did answer the phone while I was sitting "on hold" for 25 minutes! I have purchased their products in past, but never had anything shipped, and will never do it again. Terrible Customer Service, absolutely offered no help or any resolve.
Couldn't you just prepare your dinner on Friday or Saturday? My aunt is preparing her Thanksgiving dinner this weekend to accommodate everybody. Just a thought.
If you wanted a refund they have every right to take the other food they delivered back.

On Oct 23, 2018I ordered for Thanksgiving Dinner from Honey Baked Ham Online and within minutes received a reply with the wrong date (my error). I called Customer service the system was down and the lady said she would take care of the date being changed for delivery. On their online website this morning said the order was pending. I got and email saying my order was shipped and I would receive it today. Called customer service again and they said even though the site was down and I had called I could not return to them and they would not refund my money. I told him this was not my fault that the system was down and customer rep told me it would be taken care of. He hung up on me after stating I should order again and they would give me free shipping. I will never order from them again.
