Honda Motor inferior paint used

Just a commentary on my newly purchased honda civic. Before a year of ownership I noticed patches of cracked outer paint on my car. I took it into the service shop of the sales center I purchased it from. They looked at it and said it's acid from bird droppings. I said the car is not even a year old! My jeep liberty was purchased in 2004, sits outside parked under the same tree and it's paint is like new! No kidding! Yes I understand bird droppings are acidic. Yes I know if you don't get it off it can ruin the paint, but in less than a year this car looks like what birds have dropped on it. Honda's aren't inexpensive. I trusted honda's name to be a good one. I am very disappointed that i've worked so hard to get my car and now it's less than 100% beautiful. I was also advised that I would need to have the areas affected repainted. Great work honda! Please consider using a better paint than the one you are currently using. Jeep has figured it out why can't you. I can tell you, my next car will not be a honda. For all the good you do in the engine and gas areas, what good is keeping a car for a long time if the body rusts out?
On top of all that... Honda treated me like I was crazy to even hint that my warranty might cover this. Maybe I am, but my crazy dollars won't be buying there next time.

Honda Motor company let fraud salesman

I bought a car from this dealer, the car shoudl have 3 keys, (two master keys and one valet key) and the sales man stole one of my master key, they did not explain or have any list of stuff that I should receive of checklist upon the time of delievery. I just figure out that I should have 3 keys, I called the manager of honda of oakland, they said they are not responsible for anything happen after 9 moths. He did not give me any sympathy on how his staff stole customer key, because the salesman was one of his best friends. I left he many messages but he did not bother to call me. I should notice earlier on their contract, "you can not cancel this contract simply because... After you sign below, you may only cancel this contract with the agreement of the seller or for legal cause, such as fraud. I think I should go with an attorney to find out how did they do businesss. For someone who wants to buy car from this dealer, you should ask the checklist of everything you receive.

Honda Motor diagnosis/repair

I took my civic in for some maintenance. The man apparently could not fully diagnose the problem with the car. I knew I had something wrong with emissions because the warning light was on. He called and told me for 600 bucks he'd change out some parts, but couldn't be sure that would fix the problem. So i'm stuck, if I have him fix the parts, and something else is wrong, no telling how much more money that is going to cost. The car is 6 years old, had regular maintenance performed (not by honda) but it was performed. Car had 72000 miles on it, not that bad. I don't understand how a dealership can run a business on "maybe this will fix it, or maybe not" kinda leaves you between a rock and a hard place. I will tell ya this, this is my 4th honda car. When this gets resolved, I will buy no more hondas, nor will the family. I'm sure this will be good for their business especially these days.

Thanks for listening

Honda Motor misled and lied to by manager

We puchased a car on [protected] with sales manger was going to pay off lease and excess mileage. What he did was checked lease agreement and knew it was 12000 miles a year and misled us and said he thought it was 15000 miles a year so gave us a check for 500 miles instead of a check for 12500 miles and we received a bill from honda finance for 1235.70 and what I thought was if it was an honest mistakethey would just pay the bill. But I guess whatever it takes to get a car off the lot at seven aclock on saturday night they will do it thanks for reading this. I hope you dont get misled kie we did

Honda Motor extortion

I leased a 2008 honda accord in dec 2007 from bay ridge honda. Their salesman (tony) said "I want you to walk out of here with a new car". I advised him that I had smg (auto appraisers) coming to my house to look at my 2005 leased honda because it was due to be returned. He advised me that bay ridge honda would except the car back and that I can cancel my appointment with smg. I did just that. Tony looked over my car inside and out took the license plates off the car and put them on my new leased vehicle. He stated the car was fine but he never gave me anything to sign. About a month after I recieved a letter from american honda that I owe $2400. For damages on the 2005 honda. They stated I had hood gauges and dents in the fender and $600 worth of "hale damage" on the roof of the car. I called them immediately and asked them for pictures of the damage. They told me they did not have to furnish me pictures I then asked them the location of the car. They put me on hold then told me the car was in leesburg. Missouri. I am in staten island. After many phone calls and threats by american honda the amout they claimed I owed for these so call damages changed. It went from $2400 to $1100 to $695. I was also offered a chance to cut the $695 in half if I sent them a check. Although enticing I refused because there was no damage on my car. To this day they are threatening my credit and refuse to listen the collection agents are thugs and nasty. I have had four hondas and never had a problem. I blame bay ridge honda and their salesman because they were just interested in selling a car. And I blame american honda for the terrible way the have treated a long time customer. Oh by the way I was over the mileage on the 2005 honda, and recieved a nice letter from american honda waving the $93 because I was a valued customer? I guess my next step would be small claims court against bay ridge honda (who never answered my request for help) and american honda.

I am getting 29 mpg city/highway average (no a/c, closed windows, only 2 adults with total weight of 280 lb, trunk empty, proper tire pressure, no aggressive driving/acceleration, no hills)

When I spoke with Honda Motor Corporation representative about my concerns, he stated the following about the FACTS OF HONDA CIVIC gas consumption.

It is a fact that the car would never get the mileages printed on the sticker that the car came with and it was misleading the public.

This misleading is the fault of the U.S. Government, not Honda Motors.

The actual gas consumption was 15-25% worse that what Honda presented during the sale of this vehicle.

He claimed that even a 20-lb of suitcase would make a dramatic change on the Honda Civic’s gas consumption. He stated that this suitcase would be the culprit for obtaining worse than expected gas mileage consumption.

I find this and other similar and ridiculous explanations of the horrible gas consumption of my 2006 Honda Civic part of the cover up of the public misleading and perjury by Honda Motors.

Honda and Honda of Greenville, Tn would not repair our 4 wheeler that was under warranty. Was taken in with rattle in bottom of motor. Retrieved ATV a few weeks later still with rattle in motor, but was told to drive it and see how it did. Well motor locked up and they told us we had put oil filter in backwards. We never messed with oil filter. Now they refuse to repair it. We retrieved ATV from dealer and checked it and no way to put oil filter in backwards unless you damage it. Well needless to say oil filter is fine and now we are stuck with blown motor. And Honda refuses to talk to us about fixing it, and Greenville Honda has not been honest with us the whole time.

Rear alingment for 2008 Honda CRV cannot be adjusted . The factory installed upper control arms do not allow for adjusting the camber on the rear wheels, resulting in a negitive camber which has the rear tires riding on the inside all the time. This will lead to excess tire where and loss of control

Honda Motor - having to buy new door locks on five year old car

I bought a honda jazz from the rochdale branch. Feb. 2005. 10 months ago my lock on the drivers side stopped working, three months ago, the boot lock stopped working, I went to honda and they said it was not under warranty and would cost me 258.00 pounds to have the locks done. I am a pensioner and could only afford the one lock to be done, it cost me...

Honda Motor scam charges

Three weeks ago I noticed a puddle of blue fluid on my garage floor under my 2007 honda crv and determined it to be windsheild washer fluid. The reservoir is located behind the front fender and I could see it.

Since I had a $400 dollar 45000 mile service one week prior I called the dealer (ray price honda, east stroudsburg, pa) that performed the service and every service since I purchased the auto from them. I also purchased the honda care warranty. They instructed me to bring the car in and upon doing so, they told me that the reservoir was broken due to freezing.

I have been driving for 25 years many different automobiles and never have I heard of this happening before, even when I lived in northern michigan. I have never put any fluid in because I take the car in for scheduled services and they take care of it.

They said it would cost $135 to replace it. I told them to do so and I wrote a letter to honda corp, customer service, explaining everything. They assigned a case worker and after talking to the service people at ray price determined that it was not a manufacturing defect.

In other words, I must have put plain water in the reservoir in the middle of winter. I must have been off my meds the day I did that.

What a waste of money.. Honda care warranty.

I am not sure who the bad guys are here, you decide. Honda inc, ray price, me.

Honda Motor awful company

I purchased a new 2008 honda fit a few months ago. The a/c stop cooling. The repair cost $664.00. No warranty to cover the repair. The compressor got a hole in it. The damage came from normal road driving. And could happen again. The dealership repair shop said 'it happens'. Is this a design flaw or poor quality materials? I do not recommend this vehicle for dependability.

Honda Motor electrical defect

Our honda crv 2005 suffered an electrical malfunction last december 1, 2008. It was brought to the dealer honda cars kalookan and was released december 3, 2008 after a fuse replacement. A week after, the same problem occurred. It stayed in their shop until it was delivered back on december 23, 2008 with the instruction of how to replace the fuse when it busts! It did bust several times. We returned the car on january 5, 2009 with a letter to the dealer's service manager. On january 8, 2009, I was informed by the service advisor that they still could not locate the problem. I filed an inquiry and requested for assistance at the honda japan website on january 8, 2009. On january 9, 2009, I received an e-mail from norimasa matsumura of parts sales and service division, honda motor co., ltd. Of japan stating that they have forwarded my concern to honda philippines. I received a call from ms. Mariene celino of honda philippines customer relations management group assuring me of coordination between the dealer and the plant. But still, the problem on our vehicle could not be found! Today, I sent a letter to mr. Hiroshi shimizu, president and general manager of honda cars philippines, inc. Requesting assistance to our problem. Now where do we go next?

Following are content of my e-mail correspondences with honda philippines:

*
December 19, 2008 (filed at honda philippines web site)

Dear sir,

May I bring to your attention my vehicle, a crv 2005 with plate no. Xrb-194 which was purchased from your company. Said vehicle suffered an electrical malfunction on december 1, 2008. A honda mechanic which went to our house that nit advised us that the vehicle be towed the next day to your shop in kalookan. On december 3, the vehicle was released while the sa advised us to observe the car's performance. A week after, the car malfunctioned again. Mechanics then went to our house to bring the vehicle to your shop.

Through constant updates by the sa, I was informed that the module of the car must be tested by replacing said module from another vehicle to determine if our module was defective or not. It has been a week since and still the sa could not find a module to test on our car. I have suggested through text that your office should request from the honda plant a similar module so that if a same problem occurs, there will be a module to test on.

We are in badly need our vehicle as we also use it for deliveries in our pastry business (mita's bakeshop http://mitasbakeshop.tripod.com). Ever since we bought this vehicle from your dealership, we have been satisfied with your after-sales service.in fact, I always give the highest satisfaction rating whenever I am called for a feedback after every service. But we do need our vehicle specially this holiday season. We hope this request to expedite the repair of our vehicle reaches your good office with your immediate response.

Thank you very much.

Reply from ms. Mariene celino of honda philippines customer relations management group:

Dear ms. Cinco,

Good day to you!
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
We understand the inconveniences this has caused you and we sincerely offer our apologies.
As part of our initial action we will closely coordinate this with honda cars kalookan to gather all pertinent
Documents of your unit and we will also check with them the status of your unit.
Rest assured that we will do our part together with our dealer in addressing your concerns.
Best regards,

Our reply:

December 23, 2008

Thank you for your reply and attention. I called up the hondakal sa to follow up on the vehicle repair and was told that the "electrical module" of the crv was the one malfunctioning. However, I was told that there is no available part replacement and they have to look for one in other dealers or the plant. I am just wondering why that module became defective when the crv was bought only last 2005. Further, the module I was told was sealed, so how come it malfunctioned when the car is only 3 years old? Is this an inherent defect of that model (crv 2005 2.4 automatic). We have bought cars from other makers for the past years and this is the first time we have encountered a major electrical defect in a three year use. This is the first time too we bought a honda. We hope to be enlightened on the car's problem or defect. Meantime we have to suffer the inconvenience of not having our vehicle this christmas season.

Succeeding e-mail letters we sent to honda philippines:

December 24, 2008

My crv was delivered this afternoon. However, I was advised by the sa that after an out of town road test, my car performed well with the same "electronic module" in place. No replacement was made since the fuse which got busted before did not break. I was also advised that replacement fuse has been marked should the same incident occur again. I will have to make the replacement myself if the car experiences the same trouble. This got me worried because I was not given the assurance that my car was fixed! In spite of the 12 days it spent in the shop, the mechanics could not figure out what the trouble was. Now I am left hanging and worried that the same problem might occur again. This situation limits my movement to around the city and not out of town.

I am very disappointed on the service given my vehicle. Much more how it was returned with no assurance that it will perform well. As a consumer, I feel I have been betrayed by honda philippines and its dealer honda kalookan. With this, I have to find ways to protect my right as a consumer.

December 27, 2008

For matter of documentation, I am sending this e-mail. After the vehicle was returned on december 24, my driver used vehicle last night and experienced the same problem when the car's fuse got busted again. After replacing the fuse, he was able to drive the car back home. I need not explain further the inconvenience we are experiencing with the kind of service given to my vehicle by your company which places customer service way below the consumer's rights.

December 27, 2008

Out of curiosity, I read the owner's manual and read fuse section (under-bonnet fuse box). I was advised by the sa that the fuse that kept on busting is the "drive by wire (for 2.4 engine only)" fuse. However, the fuse pointed to me to be replaced when it busted is fuse #8 which according to the manual is "not used"! Is this negligence in properly diagnosing the car's trouble? Or just a way out of not knowing what is really wrong with the car. Further, the manual said that should the same fuse keep on busting even after being replaced with the same capacity, there is serious electrical problem and must be brought to a technician/service shop. Where do I go now when your technicians can't even properly diagnose the trouble?

December 28, 2008

Around 7:00 p.M., I was driving the steep parking of shangrila mall when the fuse busted twice! The moment I stepped on the gas shifting to 2nd gear, the fuse busted and I was left hanging at the steep driveway of the parking lot with motorist at my back waiting. I replaced the fuse, got busted again on the next level, then replaced it again. What a total inconvenience and embarrassment!

Honda Motor mofaz damansara

Honda service centres are one of the worst here in malaysia. I've been to two of them one in klang and one in damansara and both have disappointed me immensely. I finally conceded to take my new crv to a nearby car workshop (the owner, whom i've known for 7 years) to get proper check up and servicing. He was shocked to see the condition of my 1 year old crv, expecially the worn brake pads that have seen started eating into the brake discs which left gaping marks in it. I just sent the car for service 3 weeks ago and the honda mechanics failed to detect and tell me I have no brake pads left for all 4 tyres. I use my car a lot for work and I can't imagine what would happen if my brakes have failed. I had to send the car to the other workshop as I couldn't get an appointment with honda as it was a last minute request after knowing the problem. As I waiting for my car to be fixed in the other workshop, not surpising, another newcrv drove up to the workshop and complained that engine oil is leaking from his car... And no surprise, he just sent it for service last week. After paying rm2200 for brakes and disc replacement, I asked the owner of the workshop how many brand new crv has he serviced and he said he lost count... Probably 20 of more the past few months. He claimed that most owners complained they're not getting the experienced service required at the honda service centres. Servicing are normally done by junior mechanics and are rushed through because of the long queue of vehicles. Hence to all honda owners, if you have to service your cars at honda servicing centres, please do take your car to a more experience and trusted mechanic elsewhere to have it double checked just in case.

I bought a new CRV from Mofaz Damansara and while the sales person was good, the service centre was terrible. After delivery of the car they informed me about the first service being free based on mileage or time (3 months). When I brought the car in for servicing they insisted that I replace two rear tyres as they were vulcanized. I asked whether this was covered but they insisted this fell under the wear & tear clause so I told them that I would check with another tyre shop before proceeding. Before the time I called back, their service rep already proceeded to install two new tyres and charged me for it. After that, I stopped going to this branch and went to Honda Sumber Auto instead (Section 17, P.J.) and had much better car service and customer service there. I have since sold the CRV after 3 years.

I totally agree with you! Honda service centre in Damansara is HORRIBLE and appalingly unprofessional. I paid an ungodly sum of money to service my 2nd generation CRV and the foreman changed both my brakepads on the front wheels. Soon after that my car emmited scraping noise which was so loud passerbys stoped to look at me/my car. When i sent my car to a very reliable workshop to get a report, i was told that the brakepads that was fitted into my car was of the WRONG SIZE! It was too small for the locating frame and the only thing holding my brake pads were this tiny clip. In the event of an emergency brake, it could've dislodged and cause my front wheels to go into a 'lockdown' mode.

I travel with a very young toddler and I am also currently 4 months pregnant. Words cannot describe my anger and horror with the findings. At this rate I cannot imagine how many lives Honda Mofaz put in jeopardy each time they service their customer's cars. Something has to be done. This cannot go on.

Honda Motor unexpected acceleration

Last summer, my wife complained about our 2005 honda accord v6 almost causing an accident when she hit the brakes at a stop sign at a side street intersection. I took it into schaumburg honda, and they could not find any problems and suggested I remove aftermarket mats, which may have caused the unexpected acceleration for her. The mats were immediately removed, and we experienced no more incidents until today. With temperatures at 1 degree farenheit, I was driving with her to do christmas shopping. We were driving very slowly, no more that 20 mph and frequently stopping. During one of the stop attempts, with about 15 feet separation from the car ahead, the honda suddenly lurched and and the engine revved wildly. Hitting the brakes had little effect as the car seemed to accelerate against them. I hit the car ahead just as I turned off the ignition, causing no visible damage to either car. After exchanging insurance info, I began driving it away, still at very slow speeds, and less than another mile away, the unexpected acceleration occurred again as I braked to stop at a light. This time I was quicker to shut the engine off. I made it back home the 7 miles I had to travel back without doing any of our shopping and parked it in the garage with no further incidents. I called honda service dept, but since it's sunday, the dealership is closed, and no one answered. Currently waiting for morning to get the problem addressed.

Honda Motor poor service

After picking up my new car, I noticed that the right front tire was losing air. I brought the car in and was told that there was no leak. I have had to fill the tire every 4th day. When I called back several times I was told that honda tires are just sensitive. After not being able to find a station with a working air hose I finally brought it to my old mechanic. He found the leak and plugged it. Baron refused to pay for the repair.

Honda Motor xm radio customer service

Honda accords have the great xm radio and we subscribed/paid for a year of service in october 2017. We just received a notice that there are additional charges and we are about to be turned over to their collections. I can't believe honda will tolerate supporting the xm radio as they are extremely rude and they are guilty of false advertising. (claiming we paid in full too early... Now there are more charges). Honda is an upstanding honest company in our opinion and we've had plenty of hondas and have suggested honda products to our friends an family. If honda continues to deal with such a dishonest and rude company, it would be a huge surprise, but we and our friends will go to another type of car. Abc tv (20/20 for example) is going to hear about this as well. Just wanted you to have a heads up on this. We truely appreciate, so far, your terrific cars and service but the public should not have to deal with the xm company which apparently honda has chosen.

I am from Malaysia. I love Honda very much. My previous car is Honda ek4 year 1997.it is a very good car. Last year I bought the latest Honda civic 2.0 ivtec. Very nice car. Unfortunately the car is very unstable especially during rain. If I drive the car more than 100km per hour, the car is going to skip. I changed a new tire but it still happened. I asked Honda agent in Malaysia, they don't know how to solve my problem. Should I change the absorber? For your information, there is a few characteristic that I am not satisfied with this car...so, please help me to solve these problems...

Firstly, this is regarding the faulty in the above said vehicle, and after some time and arguments made, the said distributor do not want to bear any responsibility than offering me an extended year of warranty and free service,
My purchase of this HONDA made HONDA CIVIC, did not reach its quality and perfection, as how it was suppose to be. I did not enjoy my drive ever since i bought it, having engine noise issu and i consulted even the 'service after sales', at the HONDA SERVICE CENTRE, and i continued facing more and much more trouble. and dismantal the new engine . (att photo) It is like HONDA selling its "rejected" cars and cheating its customers.

On 29th March 2017 morning when i i switched on airconditioner of my Honda Accord 2017, it was not giving cool air. I directly went to honda service station and in the afternoon they told me that cooling coil has some leakage and as the part is under warranty they will replace the same. I asked them about the availability of the part, for that they informed me due to year closing of accounts HONDA has stopped giving parts. and now 8 days hv passed and my car is still my car is in workshop...

Why do we have to face such issues due to their year closing?

Why cant they keep spare parts with the service stations?

Dont sell cars if u cant afford to stock such items in warehouse or with service station.

I have asked almost all honda service providers and all of them gave me the same reply

Hello Sir/Madam,
My name is Sagar Shah and i had purchased a Honda Activa 110cc on the special occasion of Dashera (8/10/2017) from an Authorized Dealer named- Morya Motors located in Kandivali (West). My engine number is ME4JF502JET344124 and number plate is MH02DR7598.During the time of Diwali i was out of town for a week just the day after coming from that trip i took my activa for my office and i noticed a sound coming from my front tire when a bumper or a kacha road comes i was shocked that how cum a noise can come from a vehicle which is not more than 15-20 days old? even i didnt used it much it was just 95kms used? So i went to the Dealer from where i purchased the vehicle..they told that my mudguard was not placed well soo they advised me to give the activa for it 1st service..just the next day i gave it to the Authorized Service Center located at Borivali (East) for servicing..the next day wen i went to take my activa they told that the parts under the front headlight were old and the left side corner under the headlight section is rusted..how cum a 15-20 days activa is rusted and is dented from the front? I didnt come accross any accident also soo how can it can be rusted? the Authorized manager told me that the dealer might have given me a Re-painted old activa..please take my complain into consideration and do fair with me...
I even have a photo of the front section which i have attached to it do see it..

After 3 years 8 months of paying 550.00 a month I got behind by 60 days. after receiving checks in the mail in my business. I tried to pay but was unable to make payment on line, on phone, or with ATM Visa Card. They told me the only way was through Money Gram or Western Union. They do not make easy to bring my Account current. I was surprise how arrogant and unreasonable the ladies were. After making the payment they would not answer my call, I was on hold on two different lines for over 45 mins.

This started off as a really positive experience but turned into a nightmare. I initially worked with Addy, who offered me a great price. I drove all the way from Philadelphia and was satisfied with the whole transaction. In 2 days I had my car. At the time of closing I was told that my real plates would come in the mail and there was nothing else I needed to do. Two weeks later no plates, so I called b/c the temporary paperwork would expire soon. I called for 3 days and each time I was trasnferred to Addy's voicemail. Eventually I complained to the operator that I kept leaving messages but no one was calling back and that time was of the essence. She transferred me to someone who told me I should not worry until 3 days BEFORE the expiration. Needless to say there were still no plates the day before, so I called was able to speak to a Manager(Matt) who promised to follow up and call me on Monday morning. That time came and went, no call. I called, and again played the game of voicemail. I called again on Tuesday as now Matt is not returning my calls, he says "your plates are here come get them"|. I asked how could I do that since my paperwork as expired". He said they would pay for any tickets and I should not worry about it because that's a "no point violation"". I asked him if it was the position of the dealership that there customers should break the law, he insisted that it was a no points violation and I should just come and get it/. I of course raised ***, but my friend had to put herself out of the way to drive from NJ to PA to get me the plates'. On top of all this, Matt was shouting at me like I was in the wrong AND I came to find out that all that time the operator was transferring me to Addy's voicemail, he no longer worked there!

All this aside, they also have a non-optional "optional Millenium package":. On the HOnda paperwork the package is listed under optional, but when I stated I did not want it (window etching, stain removal from the seat for 3 years) I was told that they do it as "standard" and all of their new cars!. This standard costed an additional $999!

I bought Honda Activa in march 14, and noticed / complained starter problem at second servicing to service center but they haven't worked on this. After one month again shown it to centre and after 3 days of followups I got with tempararily charged battery. Next day morning faced the same problem. Now service centre has sent battery for warranty replacement on 28th October 14, I have called couple of times but there is no response yet. I am sure if I don't follow it service center will not do anything.
Request you to please look into this and save my Activa click starts on road.

When I leased my 2017 Honda, I received a brochure with the automobile. It quotes, "First Class Service" "At Honda Financial Services, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service to every customer, at every interaction, every time. We have a nationwide network of customer service representatives who have been specially trained to quickly access your account, answer your questions and help you every step of the way."

I called Honda Financial yesterday and could not talk to anyone. Just a computer menu. No people were available to access my account, answer questions and help every step of the way. Honda Lies. I have not missed any payments. I have owned 13 new Honda vehicles. This will be my last, as Honda lies to its customers. Shame on you Honda!

I have been shopping for a Car very seriously for buying a new one and after I saw the attitude of the sales people, I decided never to buy another Japanese car ever again. I walk in to Autowest Honda and we wait for half hour to get hold of somebody and then some sales guys shows up who has no interest whatsoever and ask us what we want to go for.We were looking for Honda fit & Honda Pilot.First the guy makes us wait for another 20 mins and comes back and says he could not find the key to test drive Honda Fit and then we ask about Honda Pilot and he walks over to Pilot and says we do not have Gas and we can only see the Car.What kind of messed up dealership is this ? Before this I gave my Car for service for a driver window not rolling up, They fix it but they have broken internal structure to get to the glass and they did not even mention it and when I showed it he cooly says "Ohh sorry since it's a old car we don't have parts and we thought you might just be fine with it".

Dublin Honda : I walk in to buy a car and the very mention of hybrid, the sales guys tells me with an attitude don't bother to show up for another 3 months and then he says the markup is $5000 over MSRP and just don't even think of buying one if you were not planning on getting that much money. Then I ask about Honda fit to test drive which is a gasoline car, He then says I cannot test drive until I buy it and that car has $3000 markup over the MSRP and I got so pissed being a Honda customer from before I just flatly told him on his face that I would rather buy an American Car any day than deal with this kind of attitude.I heard so much from other people about this but it was hard for me believe being an Honda owner but after personally exp. it I have decided to clearly buy an American car than a Japanese Car. The exact same thing applies to Toyota dealers as well because we saw the same attitude from Toyota but they were much better than Honda and at least answered our questions and allowed us to test drive.

I can go on about other's also within Bay Area but it's a waste of time on my part.

Honda Motor body repair

It all started when I was involved in an accident with my 2008 honda ruckus scooter. I dropped off my ruckus at al lamb honda around sep 22-23. Roughly a month and a week later I get a call saying it ready so I go to pick it up and there is still things that are not fixed. One of those particular parts, the service guy told me was brand new (the part that was still messed up). And the thing about this part was that it was damaged in the exact same spot as before only this time it had a been colored with a sharpie or magic marker of some sort. I thought that was shame to do something like that. So after that I started to look for other things that had not been fixed. And sure enough I found 2 more. One was the bar that goes around the head lights, it was still scratched and scuffed up. The service guy said and I quote "I didn't even see that." and the other thing was that the rear fender was still bashed in from the wreck and the tire rubbing against it. So he tells me we will get this fixed and give you a call. So a little over a week later (it is now mid nov), he tells me its ready. So my wife takes me to go get it that night and the things that needed to be fixed were repaired. I ride it home and put it in the garage. A few days later I get home from work around 3:00pm and take it for a spin. I instantly notice the handle bars are a little out of line. So that is the first thing they didn't fix or didn't fix right. So I begin to dust off the entire body, and on one of the front pieces paint begins to chip off. And I notice that the part that the headlights are attached to is bent. So at this point I don’t know what to do with the dealer who obviously doesn’t know how to repair their own brand of bikes. I call and tell them that there is still things that are messed up and he basically says that I did it and want to get it fixed. That comment was rude and an insult to me. He says that he had 3 different guys look at it, all of whom didn’t find anything. He tells me I need to bring it in, and the ins adj will need to come out and look at it, because the account is closed on it. Well the thing is, if I do that then it will be another 2 months before I get it back and I just can’t do that. Anyway dust to warn everyone in the dallas area. Don’t get your bike fixed at al lamb honda. They are not good techs or body repair people. Even though all they do is take of the messed up part and put the new one on. If you cant do that, then no telling what’s going on behind those walls in the service dept.

Honda Motor poor customer service

I have been attempting to find out if a lawn mower I took into your fairfield, ca sears repair center has been fixed. I called your fairfield local number and your phone tree routed me to an operator, named jimmy, who was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I finally determined that his job appeared to be to schedule appointments for repair, he still was unable to give me any information on how to directly contact sears to find out about something they are in the process in repairing. When I asked to talk to his supervisor, he would not get one for me. He was extremely argumentative and unhelpful. The way I will deal with this is go directly to the department where we left our mower, however I also will think more than twice before I choose to buy something at sears again if this is a sample of your customer service. If you choose to address this with your customer services person "jimmy" who would not give me any identifier other than that, this call occurred between 11:30am and noon on 11/14/08 pacific standard time.

My name is Paul Misinchuk and I am dealing with Orillia Motor Sports. I took my lawnmower into OMS on October 7 2019 and was told it would take a week. I came back in a week and was asked if anyone called me to tell me it was not ready, I came in on Friday the 18th and was told that it was not ready. No one called me . I was told my mower would be ready on Monday the 21st and not ready. I was promised that it would be ready on the 22nd at 9 am. I waited for an hour and when my mower was brought to me it was not fixed. The reasons it was there was the recoil would not pull the cord in, and the drive mechanism was not working properly. Before the boys were going to load the mower into my van, I wanted to check. The recoil would not work properly as before and the drive unit would not work at all. What kind of service is this for Honda. You people should think seriously weather OMS should represent Honda. My phone number is [protected] and I live T 373 Bay street Orfillia. L3V3X5. Thank you. The above is true for me situation as well. After keeping up all the servicing for my car, and only 27, 000km later, I had to change all 4 wheels on my car due to their neglecting to do the wheel alignments. This must have been right through out, given the little use I have had of the car. It is reprehensible that I pay of service they claim to do but clearly didn't. the significant wear didn't happen over night. What recourse do I have for this? Can someone please advise me?
Thank you
